Thank you for taking the time to read "THE VAULT: Rise of The Void".
This novel was born from my deep admiration for the richness of Japanese mythology, particularly the motif of the Three Sacred Treasures (Mirror, Jewel, and Sword). However, I wish to clarify that this narrative is not a rigid adaptation or a historical representation of those legends.
In building this world, I took creative liberties to explore a specific concept: what if the artifacts held sacred by "The Predecessors" (Manusia Terdahulu) were actually advanced technologies from another dimension? In this story, Arata represents "The Vault". His power is not merely that of a guardian of a traditional jewel, but rather a key to opening dimensional gates that connect his world to planets in other dimensions.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
I have intentionally integrated Arata’s journey—amidst threats from antagonists like Zili and Dixor—into a grounded, modern setting, such as the "Kenzo Motors" motorcycle workshop. This was done to create a unique contrast between ancient traditions, present-day life, and futuristic cosmic technology.
It is my hope that this re-interpretation can be enjoyed as a standalone work of fiction, without in any way diminishing the sacred value of its original source of inspiration.
