Chapter 16; Ruthless to the bone.

  Narration;

The radbeast is a C-class apex-radioactive monster found around zone-1 and 2, its skin is highly corrosive and it’s blood is almost completely radioactive meaning it’s almost useless to process it and purify it into a blood-elixir, it’s marrow however is almost 90% pure radiance,

Radiance being the universal energy all creatures on earth use to function, it affects both soul and body.

Through the processes of alchemy the marrow of radiative monsters are turned into pills, and the chances of getting a B-class pill is almost 90% grantee with the rad beast.

Continuation, chapter 16:Ruthless to the bone.(working on it, might change title..)

  Ash’s body refused to die.

The Radbeast’s claws had torn him open, blood poured from his stomach, his bones cracked with every shallow breath—yet still he moved. Still he stood.

  And then… something snapped.

His Overdrive surged, not the steady roar of a furnace, but the eruption of a star. It screamed through his veins, shredding muscle only to rebuild it stronger, knitting bone with a violence that shook his frame.

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Veins bulged, glowing faintly as radiation poured into him. His eyes glazed over, not with fear or pain but with nothing at all. A hollow calm.

Ash tilted his head, the blood running down his jawline almost ceremonial.

The Radbeast roared, blinded, furious, lunging to finish him—

  But Ash was faster.

His fist blurred, slamming into the beast’s ribs. A wet crack echoed as bones shattered like glass. Ash didn’t stop. He tore at its chest with bare hands, skin splitting, nails carving through muscle like hooks. Black ichor sprayed in violent arcs.

The beast clawed back, tearing into his shoulder. Flesh ripped away, exposing red sinew—but Ash didn’t falter. He bit into the beast’s arm, tearing a chunk out with his teeth before spitting it into the dirt.

Another strike. Another. Another. He was everywhere at once—on its flank, its neck, driving his fists until they were nothing but raw meat, until the Radbeast’s hide split open under the impossible relentlessness of his assault.

Adam, watching from the shadows, could only whisper.

  “…What the fuck are you?”

Ash ripped the beast’s throat open, black blood erupting in a fountain that coated them both. The Radbeast convulsed, screaming in its death throes. But even as it fell, Ash didn’t stop—he pounded the carcass again and again, fists sinking into ruined flesh, until the ground shook beneath the weight of his frenzy.

  At last, silence.

The Radbeast twitched once… then stilled forever.

Ash stood over the corpse, drenched in gore, chest heaving, his eyes void of anything human. His aura was suffocating, a crushing weight that made even the mist recoil.

For the first time, the apex predator of Zone-1 had been made prey.

And for the first time… Adam realized the truth.

  This was no null.

  This was something far worse.

Ash looked down at the ruined beast, expression unreadable. His voice came low, calm, hollow—like death itself speaking.

  “There…all..Done!!”

The chapter ends with Ash standing over the corpse, fists dripping black blood, the forest holding its breath. Ash victorious.
