  He didn't want to drink Aldred's blood. Eww! The thought itself made his body feel disgusted. I hope it is a mid or low rank devil...

  Aldred pulled the book out. The seven pillars of God Armour... He read it out loud in his mind.

  His room was not very big. It had a study table with a desk below. It had a bed behind the table and a rotating chair.

  There was a calendar hanging on the wall in front of Aldred. There was a clock hung on the right wall.

  The book seemed to be very old. Its pages were yellow.

  He gently opened the first page, trying not to tear it. The first page had the name of the author, Charles Avery.

  Avery! His body felt a bolt of lightning as he read that name. That's my surname... Maybe a weird coincidence. Thinking the same, Aldred ignored it.

  He went to the next page, which had the index, which he usually skips, so he turned to the next page.

  THE INTRODUCTION

  This was the title of the first chapter.

  The end of the third Megos is here! The first line itself left a lot of questions in his mind. What the hell is Megos?

  The introduction part had ended with many questions which were going to be answered in the upcoming chapters, but Aldred couldn't force himself not to ask them.

  THE MANA

  Mana is a chemical, or to say it is the force of life, which exists in every living being, including humans. But humans have used this 'Mana' in a variety of ways. To spread violence to use for agriculture.

  Kamui, the creator of this universe, at the end of the second Megos entered our world, 'The Earth'.

  He saw Humans fighting. His delicate heart couldn't handle it, so he transformed his body into a life force called Mana, which was then again used for Wars.

  He divided his body into seven parts and transferred them into seven bloodlines, or to say clans.

  Other humans also had mana, but very little. The members of these seven clans have good mana reserves, but they also have to undergo a process called 'awakening' to control their powers.

  This book could be straight-up lying. However, something in the letter suggested otherwise.

  Why would mother and father write that the day they died? There is something in this book!

  He didn't read more since he was feeling sleepy. He checked the time on the clock hanging to his right.

  10:12 PM He sighed and stood up from his chair.

  He turned the lights off and closed the book. He kept it inside his bag so that no one could discover it.

  He lay on the bed. He covered the blanket on top of his body and gently closed his eyes.

  Can't be late...

  " Well..." Indhra was talking to someone on his phone. " We got a new member in our family!" Indhra said to the person he was talking to.

  The other side was Shinsetsu, Indhra's wife, who was in the backseat of a taxi.

  She was wearing a formal dress with her hair tidy. She had a handbag beside her on the seat.

  Her eyes looked strained and tired.

  " Who is it now?" She questioned with a smile on her face.

  " Uhh...you remember the kid Kyra always talks about? Aldred is his name." Indhra answered.

  Shinsetsu recognised Aldred and quickly replied," Ohh, that kid. Well, may I know the reason?"

  " Ahh...He fell into trouble, so I decided to help him! That's it..."

  Shinsetsu said with a calm voice while looking at the driver," I will be arriving by tomorrow!" She cut the call.

  The driver, with a scared sound, asked her," Whe...Where now?"

  Shinsetsu held a gun with her left hand on his head. She gave a menacing smile and said," To the left!"

  The car stopped in front of an enormous old factory.

  She came out of the car and looked at the building while the car turned back and drove away.

  " Really! The Lemoyne people are stupid..."

  Two people with similar faces were planning or talking about something.

  Above through the vents, Shinsetsu listened closely.

  " This Aldred kid...he killed three of our spies!" The woman said with the image of Aldred in her hand. She threw the image on the table below all three of them.

  One of the guys held tarot cards in his hand. His name was Hojoi. The other guy who looked similar to him held gold coins and a few other weapons. He was Hojoi's twin brother Hijoi.

  Tarot cards, huh. They both must be from the Spector clan! Shinsetsu recognised their clan through the vents. As for her...I have no clue, could be Trix, could also be Setsu or the Widow clan, but I am not sure! She keenly looked at the woman.

  Hojoi dropped the tarot card on the table. Two of Swords!

  Two of Swords? Wait...doesn't it represent calmness before the storm? Shinsetsu's brain started to drain with all this divination.

  " I see!" Hojoi commented.

  Hijoi picked a locket from his right pocket and kept it in front of Aldred's photo.

  " Is it safe?" Hijoi asked the locket with a deep voice.

  It slightly moved anticlockwise, but then an invisible force struck it, causing it to move clockwise.

  " It is safe!" No one noticed Shinsetsu's calm mana.

  Does this mean... She was the one who forced the locket to move clockwise by using her mana. I am the one who will bring that day! She gulped in fear.
