Atsume gets hit in the back by a full power punch from Aggemi. The ground shatters and Atsume coughs up a little blood.
“Unconscious from such a blow? I thought she could do more for a moment.”, Aggemi mumbles.
She wants to walk to the hallway but she hears Atsume get back up again and turns around.
“Every shifter species has the base of a slime. Don’t forget that.”, Atsume wipes blood from her mouth, “My shift was only slow but you basically didn’t damage me.”
They rush back into the fight and throw punches and kicks at each other left and right. Atsume keeps slipping off and gets hit right after while Aggemi keeps punching rocky surfaces and hurts herself like that. The girls quickly become exhausted and breathe heavily as they take distance again.
Atsume quickly regains her condition to the surprise of Aggemi and explains: “Since slime creatures don’t work like the others, this fight seems to be over.”
Aggemi realizes: “Oh right, slimes have a core…”
Atsume uses both hands to hit Aggemi’s head from above and hits her into the now even more shattered ground.
Atsume takes a deep breath and smiles: “Now back to the others.”
Erika’s fight also started right when the others started.
Bluefuzz says: “Looks like I’m stuck with a little girl, huh?”
Erika says: “Shurui-chan, he seems to use something built on electricity. Do you have an EMP or anything that would help?”
Shurui replies: “As a means of self-protection, Raiden gave me an EMP with a radius of around 5m.”
Erika orders: “Perfect. Stay safe and stay ready.”
She dashes forward and swings her hammer at Bluefuzz. She hits a force field and keeps on swinging but he doesn’t move an inch. Bluefuzz is unimpressed and after a few seconds of careful observation, he grabs and lifts her up by the throat. Erika struggles and can’t breathe. Bluefuzz keeps on choking her harder but Erika manages to press a certain button on her huge hammer. One side turns into a jet engine and a purple flame starts coming out. The hammer propels itself into Bluefuzz’ face and flings him against the wall, tattering his coat. Erika gets spun a few times until she can turn the hammer off again.
“Jeesh I can’t control this thing. Lots of improvements I need to work on later are rushing through my head but I need to concentrate on the fight.”, she thinks.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Bluefuzz peels himself out of the wall and has bloody spots all over. He’s still as collected as ever and starts walking toward Erika again.
Erika starts bragging: “That right now was my patented Düsen Hammer! A masterpiece in ingenuity and construction! It uses an explosive reaction to propel itself forward with incredible force!”
Bluefuzz, while throwing away his coat, asks: “You done praising yourself? Let’s settle this. I have a job to fulfil.”
Erika rushes toward him again and starts using her Düsen Hammer. Bluefuzz doesn’t move unnecessarily and punches her stomach as she only hit the force field again from above. Erika gets flung away and Bluefuzz keeps closing the distance.
“Don’t think I haven’t noticed that you can’t control the thrust.”, he mentions.
He walks past some rubble and Erika shouts: “Shurui-chan! Now!”
Shurui hid behind said rubble and Bluefuzz realizes: “I forgot about that robot!”
She activates her EMP and disables all electronics in a 5m radius. The force field generator on his forearm breaks down and Erika rushes back in to start swinging without the thrust again. Bluefuzz locks in and dodges the swings with efficient movements.
Bluefuzz thinks: “Looks like she was hit by the EMP too.”
Suddenly, Erika activates the thruster and shouts “Jet Hammer!” as he gets violently beat into the ground.
Erika struggles to turn it off again and then finally calms down. She breathes strongly and smiles as she sees Bluefuzz unconscious.
Shurui hypes her up: “Hell yeah! You did it Eri-chan! What a feat! You looked so cool!”
Erika sighs: “But I didn’t think I’d have such problems using the Düsen Hammer. I’ll have to work on a thrust controller, test out the limits of this thing, I also noticed lots of spots that need optimization and of course I need to work on my own strength as well if I want to control greater engine output-”
“Oi!”, Shurui interrupts her, “You did it. Be proud of yourself for a moment.”
Erika forces some words out of herself: “I guess it is still acceptable for an afternoon job product.”
Raiden and Atsume come back into the hallway at the same time and Raiden asks: “Did everything go well? Looks like we defeated an enemy each. Although it seems you’re the most exhausted, Erika.”
It takes a few hits, but Raiden breaks down the door to Garuphu’s bedroom accompanied by small lightnings.
He realizes: “Aw fuck! Of course he fled the scene! What a bitch to just run away like that! Could it be that he can’t even fight?”
Raiden hastily walks back to the fainted Goto and wakes him up with a few slaps: “Where’s Garuphu! Come on! Tell me!”
Goto smiles and gets slapped by Raiden again.
He then laughs and explains: “Bahahaha! It’s too late! Lord Garuphu is already at the point where nothing matters anymore! Tonight, he’s going to take over all of Sarseia and start his rule!”
Raiden turns to Erika: “The fuck’s he talking about?”
Erika asks herself: “But how would he do that…? Ah! He’s going to capture the energy storage of the city and then force everyone to either support him or lose their electricity and water! I know where he is!”
Goto rolls his eyes and shouts: “It’s too late! Even if you know where he is! There’s nothing you can do!”
They run off and after a few seconds, Goto takes out a phone. In a facility filled with servers, Garuphu holds a guy in a lab coat at gunpoint and receives a call.
Goto says: “Lord Garuphu, there’s a group of three headed for you. Two randoms working together with Erika Leonhardt. We couldn’t stop them but they’re exhausted at the very least.”
Garuphu, a broadly built and tall man, gets angry: “So you failed? Is that what you want to say? You three are fired!”
He ends the call and says: “Looks like Bosco has to kidnap someone.”
