Racing on all fours, Colin headed towards Holly,
Holly was a few houses away, running down the middle of the road at top speed towards Kristy’s location.
Three multi-combined creatures were chasing after Holly making howling and screeching sounds. Whether human or animal, they all had a base creature with growths of other animals and humans sprouting from them. The way they looked reminded Colin of when he was trapped in Jenny’s cage and didn’t realize he could take an active role in changing his own form. One of the creatures ran on all fours similar to Colin and was composed of an alligator base, but with a human head sporting several sets of different eyes. It had human arms sprouting from it’s back and it’s scales had a fishy sheen to them. The other two were bipedal and had random, animal growths in strange, imbalanced ways. One sported the head of a Pig and the other a fishlike creature that Colin couldn’t identify.
Holly ran past Colin without stopping and shouted, “Take down at least one.”
Colin stepped in the path of the creatures, he reached out to all three with a pulse and tried to stop them from moving. They temporarily froze long enough to fall over, but Colin couldn’t hold them all.

Before they could recover, Colin leaped and chomped down on the head of the alligator based creature. With three powerful chomps and ripping twists, the creature's head separated from its body and went limp.
In the time it took for Colin to kill one, the other two had recovered and were on the move. The fish-head one dashed after Holly and the pig-headed one leaped for Colin with a squealing war cry. Colin resisted his urges to feed and spit the head out.
He reached out and tried to freeze both of them. This time, it held and both humanoids fell to the ground, locked down under Colin’s influence.
Colin let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding and an involuntary whimper escaped from him. He could feel these two were originally humans.
“Safe!” Colin shouted to Holly. He’d told Kristy he would send a connection pulse when it was safe, but should have thought that through better since he couldn’t risk letting these two go.
While the two of them were locked down, Colin ate the severed head at his feet and his instincts screamed in satisfaction as a wave of energy invigorated him. It was such a powerful sensation that Colin almost accidentally released his mental hold on the two people. The alligator’s spine glowed in Colin’s senses, indicating its nutritious quality, but Colin refrained for now and focused on keeping the two humanoids locked down.
“I’ll get Kristy to open the garage. Are you good?” Holly shouted.
“Uh, yeah,” Colin said, but then his eyes went wide as he shouted, “Wait!”
Two more of the changed creatures were heading straight to the car where Jenny was still hiding.
