She closed her eyes, bit down hard and felt the bone crush under her molars. So satisfying! She munched and dug her fangs in to tear a chunk of meat from the remaining bone to eat that as well. Very juicy!

  Another part of bone exposed. Another bite. This part of the bone was thicker, harder, tougher. She adjusted her bite to have more leverage on the bone. And crush!

  Had she just heard her name? Maybe. Who cares? She rendered more flesh from the bone to chew and swallow it.

  "Vivian"

  Her name? She liked her name. And there was a teasingly tough piece of sinew, which she tore from the meat to swallow it too.

  "Vivian!"

  So someone was calling her? How impolite. She was eating! Bone time again. Crunchy!

  "VIVIAN!"

  Ooops. Her mind cleared up, and she looked up from the pig leg that she had been eating, to Trisha who sat at the other side of the table, "Trisha?"

  "Vivian, I thought you are going to eat the meat!" Trisha was shouting.

  "I am eating the meat", she confirmed and put emphasis into each word, ears all risen.

  "No you devour everything ... you even gnaw and crack the bone!" Trisha kept shouting and pointed to the pig leg.

  She looked at the remaining piece of pig leg in her hands. What was wrong with eating the bone?

  "The medics told me bone has extra nutrition, minerals and stuff which is good for me. And it's very satisfying to crush bones", she explained.

  Trisha wrinkled her nose, "So you will eat all of that? Like, this way?"

  She nodded, "Sure. This is about what I need to eat today." Then she tore a good amount of meat from the bone and began to chew again.

  Trisha shuddered and before she could get carried away once more by the joy of eating, she heard Trisha's voice, "Vivian, please, go eat in the kitchen. I cannot watch this. I'm sorry."

  She blinked a few times and looked back and forth between the pig leg and Trisha, "Tom always ate with me at the table and he never complained?"

  Trisha shook her head, "I'm sorry, but it's either me eating in the kitchen, or you."
