Yuri decided that enough was enough today and tried to fix the wireless. It did not work. All of the wires were much too far out and out of order. No one even knows how it got that way.

"What do you think happened to our wireless?" Lawrence asked me.

I shrugged, "Maybe someone dropped it. Maybe they accidentally slashed it with a knife."

He smiled, "I don't think that at all. I think that one of us sabotaged the entire operation."

"Why would someone want to do that?" I questioned.

"I don't know. Maybe they would want to not get that information to the other side. Maybe they wanted to stay with all of us forever," Lawrence offered.

"I like all of you just fine, but I would not want to spend forever with you," I muttered.

He clutched his chest, "How could you say something like that? You know you like me."

I rolled my eyes. The rest of us hunted all day. The farther down we go, the better large animals there are. There is a lot more fur and a lot more meat. We won't have to starve again for a while, especially with the cold preserving the meat. The fur is perfect. If we use it correctly, we will not be cold again. Maybe we aren't doomed anymore. Maybe we have some hope.
