At least that was Syllena’s explanation. He opened his quest journal with great apprehension and fear, expecting another travel that would stop him from relaxing a bit before his travel or might even force him to push back this event.

Akhenamen felt slightly embarrassed at his outburst. It was indeed a bit childish, maybe, but he genuinely couldn’t stand doing big world changing quest after world changing quest. He wanted to explore Zenthia like anyone would wish to in his place.

So to know he could actually explore Zenthia AND complete his quest at the same time felt great. Of course, that meant he’d have to keep an ear out for any and all information about Cygilites and Protheans ruins.

Six months had passed since he obtained that quest, and he now found himself in the middle of his lab with Sofya. His lab now looked even bigger and more developed. Cygislax had changed a lot…, but for now his entire attention was focused on the mushroom before him.

In those six months, his and Sofya’s experiments had allowed him to level his job by an entire level.

Today was the day when he and Sofya would both attempt their first Bio-Golems Creation. Akhenamen used his [Law of Resplendent Mycelium] to help in the growth of the fungus before him. This was his and Sofya’s masterpiece after six months of hard work. One which had only been possible because of his sister’s gift, which could boost his mushrooms quality.

[Aeternospora] [Legendary]: [A perfect hybrid created from the best genes of a dozen other hybrids, giving this mushroom the ability to survive in any environment. It is one of the most resilient and tough mushrooms on Zenthia and currently exists only within Akhenamen’s private lab. Other than its immense survivability, its ability to comprehend elemental laws makes it very valuable.]

Sofya, in those six months, looked a lot more confident in herself, her wardrobe now being a mix of Cygilites and Gnomish technologies. She had kept her father’s leather tabard/apron and reinforced it with plates of Cygilites living silver, acting like a light armor covering her arms down to her biceps.

Her hand was wearing thick leather gloves, which seemed to carry small Tesla coils on top, while she wore her ponytail a bit more loosely, going over her shoulder. She had grown much stronger, but that would be a story for another time.

Now she had grown used to calling AKhenamen by his name, while she still used Sir, because of their relation as a teacher and student, she was clearly a lot more casual around the Cygilites Hierarch.

She was his personal apprentice and assistant, after all. Her immense talent in robotics and technologies had allowed her to start developing her own weapons and gadgets, even some robots which mixed gnomish and cygilites technologies.

This was unique to her as this ability came from Akhenamen, allowing a form of limited control and carefully selected knowledge to build her stuff.

“Good, then let’s start the Bio-Golem Creation.”

Having successfully grown the Aeternospora was an achievement, but one that would be useless if they couldn’t successfully turn into a Bio-Golem. Their job until now was mostly a mix of science and magic. Bio-Golem Creation was purely magical.

Akhenamen raised his hand, using his knowledge over his Divine Law of Resplendent Mycelium, he was able to boost his Bio-Golem Creation to its highest level, his hand pouring more and more of his Law inside the mushroom.

Sofya used another tactic and instead relied purely on her own magic and her newly built magic gathering array, which took the shape of a strange device around her wrist to pour the ambient magic into her mushroom.

This lasts for a few minutes for Sofya and over three hours for Akhenamen. Sofya had already gone into one of the isolation rooms they had built during those six months to watch the birth of her new mushroom buddy in private and allow Akhenamen to concentrate.

As the Hierarch, he was starting to almost lose hope, thinking that maybe he was just too powerful for a “simple” [Legendary] mushroom to handle the stats of a tier 8 being. However… Almost like a miracle, the mushroom finally started to glow a bright green color and began to evolve and change before Akhenamen’s eyes!

“It… It’s happening! Ahah-yes!”

The mushroom’s cap started to grow a bit in size, becoming a soft red color while the golden spots became a bright glowing green, the cap itself was covered in adorable drawings of plants, vines and druidic symbols… the analus (also called ring) lengthened until it looked more like a simple cloth draped around the stem, and below the cap, on the step, two small black eye opened, giving eyes to the newborn. And to finalize this transformation, two small legs and arms, which looked more like tiny stumps, appeared.
