"The current version of angels is not much different from those that existed prior to Prides' overtake. Crucial differences are present mostly on a neural level, ignoring the height and body formation change to make them more similar to humans. One of the most important changes is the one that took effect on the part of an angels brain responsible for anger and violence. This was removed. However, angels still possess the capabilities to understand such concepts, depending on their inherited intelligence or intuition. God was too lazy to refine his design and make it perfect, even though that's what he was attempting. It's probably because of the remaining soul left by the last dynasty of gods: They were clearly tied to Sloth in some way. These are all just conjectures.
Maybe god had other preoccupations other than refining his angels, and that's the reason for the lackluster design. Anyhow, i already see many ways this method of handling 'perfection' could go awry. Moreover, i feel like if this whole thing were to go bad, the consequences would be even more drastic than any other way. Stopping an epidemic is way harder than preventing it, when you're an all powerful being.
While on the topic, our current god is not okay in the head, I'm saying it now. He insists on using his own ideas, when many generals who have not been converted yet claim them to be stupid. Frankly i think his definition of "feedback" is a disgrace, an excuse used to say he did ask what the people thought, only to then use his own drastic measures. I got to peek at his prayer inbox, it's overflowing. I guess this is only natural if his upbringing was Prides' responsibility. After this, i expect Altair to gain a lot of physical, magical, and even soul strength.
If I had to guess what would happen if an angel in it's current state learned about violence abruptly, I'd say it could-"

Val had ultimately fallen asleep. He woke up hyperventilating, confused and panicked.
Once he properly came back to his senses, he got up and clumsily ran out of his room. He was still half-asleep, yet he was more alert than ever. If he wasn't, someone could potentially come and.. harm.. him.
Val: [harming.. guh...]
For anyone else in his world, that word without context meant nothing. In his state, he was one of a kind.
He ran across the corridor, passing a servant on the way. Val swerved, almost crashing into the wall, putting as much distance as he could between himself and them.
Vals' eyes were blurry. Next thing he knew, he found himself outside. A crowd. The angels were too many. People?
He stopped. Frozen. For a second there, he grasped control of himself. The crowd grounded him.
Alas, understanding stopped, and Val ran to seek a place where the crowd would not torment him. Were these angels trying to- Harm. He ran again.
He stepped foot on the playground, the same he crossed the day before. This time he was in a much bigger hurry.
He was running aimlessly, simply because he did not yet comprehend what was inside his brain.
He ran, and ran. The familiar soft floor of the playground calmed him down a little bit, but he couldn't stop running. He now only began to understand what was happeni-
"Huh?! Wha-"
Val felt the pain of falling face first once more.
The world around him seemed to pause. He slowly turned to glare at the cause of his fall. An expression of fear, but also anger, conquered his face.
Ace: [Whoa there! Again? Seriously, watch your step! Here, let me help you..]
It was Ace who had harmed him.
Val's body language signaled refusal of Aces' help. Val backed away, scared.
Ace had inflicted harm on him. Vals' instincts instantly turned to anger, and subsequently, violence. It was infecting his brain like a disease. It was a stranger in his brain. A problem no one inside was able to address.
Ace had done it on purpose; Solely to hurt Val and make his life miserable.
Val, unfortunately, wasn't able to think straight. His brain was overthrown by violent and angry instincts, and they were directed toward Ace.
Believe it or not, this was the turning point of all of heaven, even though it may look like a small and insignificant event.
