Hello again, everyone, and welcome inside this special look at the process and philosophy behind Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling: A Women’s Pro Wrestling Serial. Sterling Westlake here, taking a few moments to discuss where the serial has been so far and where we’re going to take it from here.

  First, thank you for giving the serial a chance. I know CCW is not the kind of story often found on Royal Road, so I’m grateful to those of you who’ve taken the time to try it. I’m particularly thankful to the three of you who have decided to follow the serial, and the one who’s favorited it. I hope you’re enjoying those decisions.

  One favor I’d like to ask from anyone who gives CCW a chance is the gift of feedback. Whether it’s a comment, a review, a rating, or a message to me, I’d love to know what you’re thinking about the story, the characters, the concept; anything about the serial. CCW is a niche project, I am aware of that, so it’s important to me those of you with whom it resonates tell me what you think. I’d love to see a community form around the serial, however small, so long as it’s dedicated.

  As I write this, the fifth episode of CCW Chaos has been published and, if you’ve being reading so far, you know it ended with a massive reveal, the effects of which will be felt for shows to come. So, now is a great time to catch up on shows you’ve yet to read or jump in from the start. The next episode of Chaos will be published this Monday, Feb. 2, with a card and preview tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 1.

  If you think things have been crazy so far…

  Let’s talk a bit about CCW’s future. There are currently five episodes of CCW Chaos published. A further 10 shows, bringing the total to 15, are already written and waiting to be tweaked for publication on Royal Road.

  At some point — I’ll tell you well ahead of time — this first story arc will be removed from Royal Road and packaged for publication on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. That version, CCW Season 1, will feature story enhancing bonus material not published on Royal Road.

  The serial will continue here on Royal Road with new storylines, new characters, and continued building of existing stories and characters. There will also be chapters dedicated to updated bios, rosters, and records, with the entire first arc remaining available only on Amazon Kindle Unlimited.

  And we’ll go from there.
