Back with Ayaka and Rick

  As they finally slowed down with ayaka taking out her sword and winced using her mana she covered the slash wound slowly healing it.

  A twig snap and she swung the sword behind her but redirected all the mana on the tip of the sword

  Which instantly caused it to swing in front of her clashing with Rick's blade and forcing him back

  You improved... he said as he was about to activate soundless steps and hide again ayaka sent out a dark wind slash pushing him to slam into a tree trunk causing it to crack and fall down.

  Rick got back on his feet and was attempting to use his skill again but Ayaka didn't give him the chance forcefully pressuring him close range

  As they are clashing he realised Ayaka is focusing mana on her blade and he forcefully pushed her away.

  He then holds his sword in reverse grip stabbing it on the ground and a wave of pure mana busts through the ground surrounding him as if a bunch of scales suddenly came alive.

  As for ayaka she went for a thrust using falling iron Mountain precisely hitting between the scales but she was thrown back due to the force of her attack.

  She destroyed a boulder with her body landing on it making her vomit blood as her sword makes a long gash along the ground

  You can't get past my dragonic scales ayaka...

  Rick said as he pulled his sword out and in extreme concentration made the mana scales to form armor around him.

  During that time ayaka struggles to stand up and pulled out her blade from the gash.

  At the same time the scale armor is fully formed around Rick but he notices Ayaka is looking at him amused which alarmed him right away.

  She then pointed her sword at him and said

  Iron Mountain sigil activate!!

  Rick's eyes widened YOU FOOL YOUR GONNA KILL US BOTH!!

  Rick attempted to dispel the dragonic scales but it was too late he felt a crushing force all around his body as his scale armor was compressing him until his body bursted apart inside his scale armor then it finally dispelled along with his body disappearing as he's eliminated.

  Ayaka starts coughing blood and falls on her back unable to move as the skills consequences reverses the remaining compression force on her body as she hasn't mastered the skill or reached the requirements to use it without consequences.

  Soon after she is fully unconscious and due to her injury across her chest not being blocked by her mana anymore it causes her to bleed out to death thus eliminated from the tournament.

  Kaeris was observing his surroundings and noticed how everything seems to be heavier as the trees creak.

  And the walls started breaking down crumbling then he saw them two people that looks identical there movement synced and when they talked it was synced also

  We are the Gemini twins.

  They then raised a hand each and clenched suddenly the earth walls crumbled and the rubble rapidly went towards kaeris in the center like Projectiles.

  Compression they simply said but before the rubble can harm kaeris and before the invisible attack can hit he waved his wand down Icicle rain.

  A bunch of icicles formed on top of the twins and started falling down like rain but right behind it was a strong gust of wind increasing the trajectory speed forcing the twins to end their attack and repel the rain of icicles...

  Giving kaeris some breathing room he hid one of his hands under his robe and concentrated magic there but he also sent multiple stone spikes further forcing the twins to defend jumping away at the same time using their magic to repel everything away as they landed they were both sweating a little.

  They looked at each other and nodded

  They then held hands and stomped the ground

  Gravity Domain!!

  They both said and the surrounding area was completely forced down.

  Kaeris used all his strength to not end up on his knees out of pride.

  He brought out his hand from his robe and opened his hand and it had a deep dark Blue flame within it and it was clearly unstable.

  He then threw the blue fireball forward.

  The Twins scoffed thinking it will just be as easily destroyed.

  Instead it started incinerating the magic around it as it rapidly approached the twins.

  while Kaeris started making ice layers in front of him now that the gravity around him is gone.

  As for the fireball he has no more control over it so he best creates defences right away while it hasn't exploded.

  As for the twins they desperately tried to stop the fireball using every ounce of gravity magic in an attempt to repel it while also taking multiple steps back.

  It then destabilized and exploded.

  With how close it was they were unable to do anything about it as their magic was incinerated faster than they can use.

  Causing them to be burned to death as their surroundings burned and melted as if they were in hell.

  The ice shield Kaeris made was being destroyed one by one as it rapidly melted.

  The flames reached the final and thickest layer of ice.

  Kaeris used the remainder of his mana to compress wind under his foot and dashed with the help of the wind getting away just in time as his final ice layer was destroyed.

  He's now panting heavily leaned against a boulder that's faced towards the explosion. The area is on heavy fire and the rocks are melting from the superheated flames.

  I'm out of mana but I'm still alive.

  I need some time to recover my mana.

  Yea right I was completely countered by those twins I must thank Aiko.

  Her flames gave me the idea to compress the flames.

  I didn't expect it to burn the mana around it itself and change its color to dark blue.

  He rolled his eyes and rested on the rock but once he recovered enough mana he created a rock wall and made it blend with the surroundings finally giving him some form of safety.

  We're back with kivolak

  Kivolak kept his position as his Parasitic ice infused with the surroundings waiting for the opponents to arrive and he wasn't disappointed his meals had arrived...

  He dosent care about there names all he sees is Orc meat and fairy desert

  Hehehhhaha come kivolak said and he rushed the Orc meanwhile the fairy enhanced the Orc increasing his strength and regeneration

  The Orc himself rushed kivolak, encasing his arms in steel before sending out a punch against kivolak's fist which was covered in icy aura.

  As there punches collided the Orc figured something is wrong he doesn't feel any form of coldness from the punch

  As kivolak was launched back he dispelled the fake ice aura on his hands now that Parasitic cold is starting to drill into his opponents bodies.

  Then they resumed fighting in close quarters, kivolak occasionally using Devouring Ice to rip chunks of flesh and heal himself.

  The fairy realised her reaction is dropping along with her speed and decision making.

  She informed the Orc but unfortunately he can't hear her as he's lost in his bloodlust due to Parasitic cold corroding his mind.

  With this kivolak grinned as blood dripped from his teeth and activated icy Drain. He started draining the Orcs vitality itself, lowering its regeneration speed and slowly overwhelming him, eating chunks of flesh at the same time.

  The fairy seeing they might lose if this continued started flapping its wings creating wind gales to go in a circle creating a tornado.

  Synthetic tornado!! She said as she was losing herself it covered both kivolak and the Orc slowly shredding both bodies as it uprooted trees and rubble sucking in the water from the lake nearby.

  She was able to cover herself in her own gust of wind, rotating it around her so she wouldn't be affected by the fake tornado but once it ended both the Orc and kivolak were nowhere to be seen as they were both eliminated together.

  She landed on one of the taller boulders but she realised that she is still being affected by whatever that wendigo did and was despairing despite winning the fight.

  Moving on to Bennett's side

  As he's running away from the sand he keeps trying to find the location of his opponent but she's nowhere to be seen.

  which isn't good as his stamina is limited and if this keeps on going sooner or later he will be caught.

  So he decided on a risky move and took out his shield, turned around and activated cinderfall using the shield ramming into the sand and causing a shockwave and then he heard it.

  Ahhh that hurts!!

  How did you hit me!!

  He breathed out in relief seeing that hit somehow harmed her as for the sand it retracted and formed Nicole.

  Hmm a tanuki and realization followed Bennett

  Ah living sand I see no wonder it hurt her

  She broke down her arm into sand and making them into weapons sending multiple his way in an attempt to skewer him taking in Jason's advice to end this battle as fast as possible

  Bennett meanwhile took out his staff and would use cinderfall as he dodged and deflected so the sand he hit would always catch on fire and be bursted apart.

  Ugh Nicole is bleeding from her mouth as she loses connection to her sand.

  H-how can you harm my body directly? It may be living sand but the life energy shouldn't be able to be affected!!

  She is enraged that Bennett is somehow able to damage her through her sand.

  Bennett doesn't reply to her as he grimaced as cinderfall is his only skill he can harm her with.

  Right now she's sending a barrage of sand from whips to swords and even spears forcing him on the defensive from the endless amount of sand.

  He kept himself as calm as he could, splitting his focus on observing her and defending, causing him to be hit by more attacks.

  But this was a risk he had to take and it succeeded.

  He noticed the ground around her was being grinded and it turned into sand before infusing with her and she sent it out to him.

  After that he was making a plan as he defended getting pierced through the shoulder.

  Ugh Bennett almost lost focus from the pain of the sand attempting to infiltrate his body and grind him from the inside but it was destroyed by his dense mana.

  With a risky plan in mind he took out his shield and activated protect.

  Then he tossed it towards her while using his staff like a bat he hit his shield accelerating it and forcing her to defend with a wall of sand.

  The shield got stuck in the wall of sand but as soon as she lowered the wall Bennett was gone from her sight.

  Not good! She said her eyes were widening and just as she sensed him it was too late.

  He kicked her in the abdomen causing her to lose her breath and in turn lose concentration on her sand giving Bennett enough time to follow up with an upward staff strike infused with Cinderfall lunching her high in the air.

  Bennett then took his stuck shield and used all its mana to have cinderfall active on it.

  As for her she is trying to absorb sand to put up a defence but the ground is too far for her so she only has whatever is on her as her only source.

  Seeing Bennett use his shield like a baseball and hit it with his staff she summoned whatever sand she had turning her hand into a sand sword in an attempt to block it unfortunately the moment it made contact cinderfall activated causing her to gain more height and feel pure agony going through her body as she feels her body being scorched from the inside.

  N-no I can't lose to a mare Rank 3...

  Is her last thought as Bennett jumped using his shockwave then activated Revolving Cinder and pushed a ton of mana into the tip of his staff using up any remaining mana of the staff.

  Then he compressed his shockwave and as he reached her he struck her ribs cracking sounds were heard and the shockwave caused her to fly away like a missile and hit a huge boulder destroying her body.

  Eliminating her from the tournament.

  Bennett landed on the ground and held his knees panting.

  Ahh damn that was close to good ol redirection no other way to beat her without cutting off her source of sand..

  Bennett started making his way into the forest in an attempt to regroup but not too fast as his weapon and shield are currently low on mana.

  He also gotta find some time to at least fill them up with some mana.

  But he saw a huge tornado appear in the distance and he grimaced along with a huge explosion in another direction.

  Considering the tornado was closer when it was active he made his way there to see who won.
