Anibeli's POV
They had entered the warp smoothly 2 and a half weeks ago. The trip had, once again, been smooth. Anibeli had little to do other then paperwork or conversing with the officers and Nezekiri.
But Nezekiri was in the brig standing over, literally, their prisoner. While they could talk over coms, it wasn't a substitute for face to face communication.

All was well. Most damage from the boarding had been minor, and quickly repaired. There was some small bits that she wanted to go over in port when they arrived.
The time ticked down. 20 minutes. Ten minutes. 5 minutes. 3 minutes.
"Warp exit in 10. 9. 8-" She braced.

"All decks report alls well. No problems reported."
"No system malfunctions. Praise be to the machine god."
"Sensors repor- By the throne! Captain, reports from affar! Multiple ships engaging each other in the void! Classes... Too far to tell!"
"Shields to full. Load torpedoes and the gun. Full speed ahead." Anibeli called. "Get me the identities of the ship's fighting. We head to our rendezvous with the system station."
"Ay captain!"
This wasn't what she wanted when she arrived. Why couldn't things just be simple? First a boarding actions, and now void war. What's next? The sun blowing up?
