The trees had very thick, dense foliage, forming a continuous network that provided a vast canopy.
It provided perfect camouflage to utilise as cover as she continuously slithered until she abruptly stopped.
Sun Yuying eyed a nearby cluster of Wicked Tossian Fruits with caution.
She paused as, right at that moment, a large Death Chameleon, barely perceptible to the eye, slowly moved towards it, tearing a single fruit away from the thick vines, and gulped it down in a fluid motion.
The Black Snake quickly realised the Death Chameleon was even larger than the first, seeming around ten feet in length.
She found herself fortunate that she saw the Death Chameleon in the middle of it feeding; otherwise, it would be impossible to catch it.
Occupied with its meal, the Death Chameleon failed to spot the well-hidden creeping Black Snake, watching it with hostility.
Sun Yuying believed the Death Chameleon was likely stronger than the first, yet this time she was high in the trees and had the element of surprise.
She knew the Death Chameleon would quickly fall prey to her venom if she managed to sink her fangs into it swiftly.
Moving with precision, she used the heavy fortilage to make her way towards the Death Chameleon.
The large Death Chameleon seemed distracted after consuming the Fruit, as if it required concentrating deeply to digest its energies.
Sun Yuying knew she would never get a better opportunity as the Death Chameleon showed a brief glimmer of vulnerability, close enough to lunge, she pounced in one swift movement, latching onto the Death Chameleon as she sank her fangs deeply, releasing every ounce of her venom.
The large Death Chameleon instantly slackens, in apparent shock, its bulging eyes wide as it hisses with rage.
Sun Yuying knew the Death Chameleon was not used to being preyed on, especially in its natural habitat, and, despite its large size, it could not withstand her potent toxins as it thrashed with anger, trying to swipe at her with its sharp claws.
The Black Snake already knew, though this was a pretence to hide the Chameleon's most potent weapons, a blurring and powerful tongue outstretched towards her in a rapid movement, as she felt a strong force coming towards her, giving her a mighty thwack.
Sun Yuying was taken by surprise as she felt herself falling off the Chameleon. Now in range, it once again tried to strike her with its tongue before attempting to bite her with its razor-sharp teeth.
The Black Snake felt a dizzying strike before she hurriedly got out of the way of the Death Chameleon's vicious bite. She once again lunged towards the Chameleon's large body and sank her fangs in for another venomous bite.
Her venom felt especially vigorous from the Wicked Tossian Fruit, and the large Death Chameleon seemed to stumble and seize as it fell, its breath growing shallow before they finally stopped.
The Black Snake felt the effects of the Death Chameleon venom occur as her vision became slightly fuzzy, yet she was already on her way to consume the large Death Chameleon.
Swallowing it slowly, she rapidly digested the large prey, allowing her to encompass the whole carcass of a creature many times her size.
Soon, a multitude of notifications occurred.
