Seph returned to his cultivation tomb, but before he entered, he looked at Lilith’s cultivation tomb. He hadn’t seen her, and didn’t know how to check in on her; even if you knocked on the stone doors, the cultivators inside the tomb wouldn’t hear your knock.
He looked hesitantly at her cultivation tomb, lost in thought, hoping that maybe she would open the door and come outside by herself, but she didn’t.
He sighed in resignation and opened his door and entered his cultivation tomb.
Once in the middle of his abode, he put both hands on his hips and said, “Okay, Sun, what do you think we should do for the rest of the day?”
Sun thought for a few seconds and just shrugged.
Seph, with apprehension, remembered that he needed to recharge his graveyard emergence ultimate skill; he felt horrible about it, but he couldn’t help but remember the beating he got inside the Scar of Fate.
If he had graveyard emergence ready then, he would have probably got a lighter beating, or maybe he and Lilith could have even rallied a win against the entire Scar of Fate.
But in truth, he didn’t know if it was even strong enough to pull those powerful monsters under the ground like it did the mortal villagers.
He also remembered that he wanted to train his new skill to find out what it does, but he didn’t have any time since he got out of the trials. He resolved to do that the first day he visited the training courtyard.
He opened his manual to check one last time on his ultimate skill description.
Shattered into a thousand pieces, His arms are multitudes.
Meditate for an entire day while reciting the mantra; you will need to do this each time you want to recharge Graveyard Emergence.
He then told Sun, “I am going to meditate for an entire day, which will make me miss the training courtyard tomorrow too, but it doesn’t matter; my skills and the things I want take precedence. You could also cultivate or something?”
Sun flinched after he heard Seph’s suggestion; he had been having a hard time with cultivation; he didn’t know how to advance, and it was causing him a lot of stress.
Seph noticed and asked, “Is there something you are not telling me?”
Sun sighed and acted out a scene to show that he was not getting stronger with cultivation, that he was incapable of breaking through to the next stage.
Seph felt sad for him and asked, “You heard Master Zhi’s instructions for me, right? Yin cultivation methods don’t work for you?”
Sun nodded his head negatively and looked down at the floor with tears welling in his eyes.
Seph knelt down on one knee and hugged Sun as he told him, “Buddy, don’t worry, I’ll ask around and try to find out if anyone here knows how Qi cultivators cultivate, and we will get you on the path of ascension to.”
Sun hugged him back and smiled happily behind his master’s back, he was happy with the fact that even if his master couldn’t help him, it wouldn’t be for lack of trying, he wanted to find someone to help him break through into the next stage, and that was all he could wish for.
Sun and Seph sat down facing each other to meditate, as Seph repeated the mantra in his mind. Shattered into a thousand pieces, His arms are multitudes.

Somewhere else in the sect, in a much fancier cultivation tomb that belonged to the core disciple Qian Mian, gathered four inner sect disciples, and a female core disciple named Aoi Yanjun.
Aoi was wearing a long, flowing white dress that had long slits on both legs and arms, its skirt and sleeves made up of long, narrow strips of fabric that were hanging loosely and separately, swaying freely with every movement.
The top part of the dress was also cut into ribbons except for the chest area; it didn’t have any cuts and was the only decently covered area of her body.
She sat with her back leaning against the chest of Qian Mian, who didn’t even look at her but was focused instead on the other four men in the room.
The ribbons on her legs dropped to the left and to the right of her thighs, leaving her entire long legs naked, except for a wide strip of clothes that was hiding her crotch decently.

The four disciples sat in front of Qian Mian and the woman, all of them didn’t dare look wrongly at the woman who Qian Mian had claimed for his own, but hatred was eating at their hearts for one reason: The legacy takers, they all hated them for different reasons.
Xin Feng broke the silence and said, “They are taking everything we worked for, over five of them immediately made it into the inner sect, and they have people in the outer sect who could grow stronger to beat a few more of our inner sect disciples.”
Qian Mian was wearing a green mask that had a forced smile, and its eyes, like they were forcing a smile.
Another disciple sitting next to him, a lean six foot five tall man of pure muscles, and long black hair that he kept in a ponytail said, “I agree with you brother Feng, it was humiliating to all the old disciples what happened in the matches that first day. To be beaten by a bunch of newbies, we have very strong cultivators sweeping the grounds of the outer sect now, it’s the ultimate humiliation.”
Qian Mian was still silent, but he had changed to the red angry demon mask on his face as he heard those words, nobody even noticed as he changed these masks, nobody knew if he did this with his fast hands, or were the masks changed simply by a mental command.
Xin Feng replied to him immediately, “Yes, honorable brother Damon, it’s humiliating; it’s also humiliating that the most important sister in the sect who has the favor of the elder himself, had already fallen head over heels with one of them before we even got to know her.”
Qian Mian’s mask changed to a circular mask that didn’t have many details except for two black dots for eyes and a wide line for lips, to resemble boredom.
A short disciple sitting on the far left, who had unkempt brown hair, and very weird round small ears, his eyes were bulging a little outside of their socket, and his nose was uncannily small on his face; he also had bigger lips than all the disciples present, and from between his lips came the tip of a very long tongue, only the tip was already taller than the average human tongue, he said, “Yeah, she is pretty.”
Qian Mian’s mask changed to a blue mask with the face all scrunched up like it was disgusted by something.
He had a lisp where he pronounced the S as SH, and the SH as S, respectively.
The disciple closest to him was none other than Big Mouth Crouse, who Seph had knocked out the day prior, he spoke in disgust and said, “Stop doing that Long Tong, you keep spitting all over me every time you speak, fucking disgusting. Why do I always have to sit next to him?”
Long Tong looked embarrassed as he apologized. “I am sorry, I don’t mean it; also, don’t worry, it’s clean, I am not using my skills.”
Big Mouth Crouse got splattered with more spittle and he said angrily, “Stop talking you moron, and what skills are you talking about, the day you let your pestilence droll hit me I’ll kill you myself, I’ll snap your damned head off.”
Long Tong was also pissed, but he was always ill-treated by the group, and he found safety with them even if they bullied him; he thought better to be bullied by one group than be bullied by everyone.
He spoke with a sarcastic smirk playing at the corner of his lips. “I am not sure if that would be healthy; my head is probably full of pestilence. I used to look handsome before I got that inheritance, you know?”
Big Mouse Crouse replied derisively, “Yeah, only in your dreams; you always looked fugly, now just stop fucking talking.”
Qian Mian’s mask changed to a golden one that resembled a golden sun with a benevolent smile on its face; he finally broke his silence as he said, “Enough!”
Everyone shut their mouths, and they looked at Qian Mian in anticipation; they knew he meant business when he wore his golden sun god mask, and they all listened intently.
He looked between their faces slowly before he said, “You are all so petty and shallow, resources? A girl? Places in the inner sect?” He changed to the blue mask of disgust again before continuing in a mocking voice, “Our powerful brothers who get kicked out into the outer sect?”
In an instant, he changed his mask to a yellow, sickly mask before he said, “You make me sick; why do I even surround myself with a bunch of stupid idiots like all of you?”
Xin Feng tried to apologize. “We are sorry, senior brother Mian, but...”
Qian Mian said with the red demon mask of anger on his face, “Shut the fuck up, I said. All of us were made to bow down to that man, and to a woman who has no merit other than being the daughter of the progenitor of yin cultivation.”
His mask changed to the green mask of envy as he said, “Me and every one of you were humiliated, the elder is weak to bow down to such a young, weak woman, she is just in the body dismantling stage, she is as weak as that moron Xin Feng.”
Xin Feng looked down in embarrassment as Qian’s mask changed to the golden sun god mask again, and said, “Why do we even have him in our group again? Can anybody remind me?”
Damon, who was the second strongest of the group after the couple, spoke with a smirk on his face, “Because he grovels at your feet the best.”
Qian Mian looked at him and lingered for a few seconds before he said, “Oh, yes, he does, I guess he has his uses.”
He then said, “Unlike me and my beloved, who are in the death establishment stage. We are the ones worthy of the elder’s favor.”
Aoi looked at him in adoration as she put her hand on his chest and ran her finger over his chin sweetly.
He looked around the group, studying each of their faces as Aoi’s flirtatious touches explored his body, then he said, “When we see Seph again we will strike fast and we will strike hard, I want you all to provoke him into a fight, and if you can’t provoke him into a fight, we will let our weakest attack him, Xin Feng will make the first strike, and when things escalate, we will all intervene. We have to humiliate Seph like he humiliated all of us by standing as we bowed with the elder.”
Xin Feng tried to appease the core disciple and said, “No worries, fearless leader, I’ll get him back for all of us. You all won’t have to intervene at all.”
Qian Mian changed masks to the white cat as he said, “Good, see that you don’t feel, I want to burn his heart like he burned mine, and one day I promise you this, I’ll have Seph kiss my feet for his impudence towards me.”
Aoi tilted her head upward and looked sweetly at Qian Mian’s mask behind her and said, “Darling, make them leave; we didn’t have fun together yet today.” She pouted cutely at his face.
Qian just raised a hand and dismissed the group with it, and they all bowed to him in respect before each of them got up and left the cultivation tomb of the core disciple.
