Chapter 6: I Dunno What to Name This Chapter.

‘I wonder what that kid is doing, following us like this,’ Calvaria wondered as she and Sebas walked along the sidewalk.

Calvaria had been walking along the path along with Sebas for a couple of minutes, and they had yet the boy had yet to relent. It was also slightly strange that another person was tailing them. Calvaria had yet to even look at them, yet she knew they were there at least.

It was slightly annoying to have these people tail them on her walk. Yet, she supposed that it couldn’t be helped. After all, she was quite the piece of eye candy if she did say so herself. She had worked hard on the general shape of her own face, and on the shape of her figure as well.

The modifications to her appearance were barely there at all, in all honesty. Sure, she had her scars and dyed hair. Yet the changes didn’t go much farther beyond that.

The hem of her greatcoat fluttered as she gnced behind herself. The boy was still following them. It was slightly admirable, whatever this boy wanted must have been rather important to him if he kept this up. Calvaria looked ahead once more, and tapped Sebas on the shoulder.

He turned his gaze to her, and she smiled at him as she spoke. As she said what she wanted to say, he nodded his head in confirmation. It was good to have good subordinates.

“Sebas, lets go into this alleyway and see what the kid wants. It’s probably nothing much, but I still want to stay out of the street,” she said, and he nodded his head.

He then shifted his stride and walked into the alleyway to their right, as they were walking on the right side of the street. She trailed close behind him, and the boy followed suit. Though, he did stop for second before striding into the alleyway.

Calvaria smiled as she sensed him walk in after them. The second presence though, stayed near the edge of the opening to the alleyway. She scowled at that, or what constituted a scowl on her expressionless face. Though, when she had the illusion on herself active, her face did move in ways that a normal face should.

The way they went ended in an opening to another street. The alleyway was also surprisingly open. The alleyway was also cleaner than the street outside of the alley.

It was then that the boy could be seen. Calvaria had turned herself to face him. Her back to the other opening to the alleyway. Sebas had turned to face the d as well. As Calvaria looked at him, a profile for the boy came up in her mind.

She could tell by the look on his face. He was a young man that held his honor at the top of his list of things to care for. Someone with a strong moral compass, that didn’t abide by any wrongness in the world at all. It somewhat reminded her of Touch me. At least, a little bit.

She then spoke. Her tone was harsh, as was her face now. Sebas simply stood there, looking at the d with a stern gaze.

“Greetings, I would ask you where you came from or why you are here, but I only need to ask one question,” Calvaria said, her tone pin, “Why have you followed us all the way here?” she asked.

The young adult took a gulp of air from the nervousness he was building, and then responded. He was slightly scared. That much she could tell right away. In effect, making whatever he was about to ask look more genuine.

“I simply followed you two to say, thank you,” he said and bowed, “thank you for helping the child. When he stood up, he asked me to thank you. So here I am,” he said, directing is attention to Sebas.

Calvaria nodded her head. While she could tell it wasn’t the whole of the truth. It was at least half of it. Though, he had yet to even speak his name. She tilted her head to the side as she realized that she had yet to speak her own name though, woops.

“Thank your young man,” Sebas spoke for her, “I am Sebas Tian. This woman here is the master to whom I serve, dy Calvaria,” he said, stretching out an arm to her as she looked on at the d.

“As he said, I am Calvaria, the Adamantite ranked adventurer,” she introduced herself, “now, what is your name young d; and what is the other reason why you have followed us?” she asked, and he stood up fully with wide eyes.

It seemed that he recognized the name. She cursed herself internally. There was going to be a lot of trouble soon, wasn’t there?

“My name is Climb, and I came here to ask Mr. Sebas how he became so strong,” he stated as a matter of fact.

Calvaria felt a smirk grow on her face. She turned to her butler, and motioned to young Climb to speak with an outstretched hand. Sebas caught onto her jesting mood, and smiled.

  …

Climb looked at the two of them in front of himself. He couldn’t believe it. First, he had gotten to meet the legendary Blue Roses. Then, he had seen the most powerful attack that he had ever heard of in recent times.

Well, the sp from Mr. Sebas wasn’t truly lethal, but it was skillful. Finally, after that, he had finally met the newly appeared Calvaria. He had heard that she never took off her helmet. Yet that part seemed untrue now.

“Well, when you mean strength, what type of strength do you mean?” the older man asked, Sebas his name was, “there is of course strength of mind, strength of body, and many more.”

Climb blinked, not ready for that. Lady Calvaria seemed to notice this, and smiled, a slightly unnerving smile. She interjected, leaning forward slightly.

“It depends on what you are trying to accomplish most of time. Strength of mind should start to develop along with strength of body. Then, when you are reasonably strong in the body department, grow your mind. That way, you can face greater foes with both skill, and wit,” she expined, and Climb found that he was enraptured by her words.

“I myself have found strength is in matters of the mind most of time when it comes to facing a rival or a challenge,” Sebas started from where is master left off, “you can’t do battle if you are unwilling to.”

That makes sense. At least, it made sense to Climb. He smiled slightly, unsure of the advice at first. Yet, as his mind lingered on the words, they fell into pce. Then Calvaria spoke.

“Come here boy, let me take a look at your hands,” she said.
