“Lady Momonga has also sent me here with a message,” Ninya said, her face serious now, “She said the pn is close to fruition, you simply need to pack up and leave the city. Close all the loose ends, finish all the business you have here, after that you should leave,” Ninya expined while sipping on a cup of tea.
Sebas nodded his head. He had expected this, after all. He was no longer needed in this part of the pn. In effect, he only had to leave. Yet, one question still remained, what of Tuare? He asked his question, curious and hopeful for what she was to say.
“What of Tuare? Surely, she can’t stay in the city?” Sebas asked his question.
“True, she can’t stay in the city. I don’t know what Lady Momonga wants her to do. I was simply sent here with a message to tell you to finish everything up. I don’t know what she wants to do with my sister,” Ninya paused for a second, leaning back on the couch.
“Maybe I can live with you Ninya, or maybe go with Mister Sebas?” Tuare asked, her tone hopeful.
Everyone looked to her, and Tuare blushed slightly at the looks. The girl was still unused to good company. In fact, she was slightly embarrassed, even by their normal gnces.
“Well,” started Solution while looking at Tuare, “perhaps she wants you to journey with Ninya? After all, you two are siblings. It would make sense for you two to live together,” Solution said with partial smile, the slime was holding back her lips like usual.
Tuare and Ninya nodded their heads. That made sense. Lady Momonga was one for family, Ninya had seen it in the way she talked to her subordinates. In fact, she hadn’t even seen her raise her voice in anger to them. A rather rare thing for one in such a powerful position.
Yet then again, she was a goddess. It was only natural that she was kind. Deaht was a mercy, after all. Ninya knew that for certain. She had seen the kind of things that happened to those that had wronged her master in the past. She didn’t envy them.
“Well, what am I to do while you two finish your business?” Tuare asked, “simply stay here?” she posed.
Sebas pced a hand to his chin. The thought had been an instant one for him since he had heard the message. What was he to do with her? He could send her back with Ninya to the vilge, yet he felt that she might not like that. After all, she might feel unsafe outside of this house.
Could he leave her here? That was unsafe and he knew it. Sure, it would make the house look full. Yet he felt that something bad might happen with those people that the man that he had paid off had mentioned. They seemed the type to hold a grudge.
“I could stay here with you,” Ninya mentioned, “I don’t have anything to do right now, and Lady Momonga even told me to spend some time with you,” she said, her voice turning jovial.
“That is a good idea, yet I feel that some more thought should be put into it. After all, it will take a while to tie up all these loose ends,” Sebas said and then turned to Solution, “I think I shall take a walk to think of what else to do. Take some time to clear my head.”
“Of course, I shall prep and send some letters to start off the end of this part of the pn,” she said, her tone serious and hard.
Sebas nodded at that and got up from his spot on the couch. The sun was high in the sky, the clouds were sparse. In effect, it was a good day to go for a walk to clear one’s head. Yet, just as he was about to walk out of the room and send off for his walk, he heard something coming from the entranceway section of the manor.
Then, a message entered his mind. It was a message from a certain floor guardian from the seventh floor, Demiurge. He spoke in a slightly haughty tone that he always seemed to have to try and tease Sebas a bit. It didn’t really work, it was simply just a bit of friendly banter, yet now it felt like it was hiding something.
“Sebas Lady Momonga has decided to visit the manor that you have taken on as a base of operations for you section of the mission, just a heads up,” he spoke over the message, his tone slightly panicked by the end.
Sebas smirked a little, Demiurge hadn’t guessed that Momonga would want to visit, so he felt in adequate to her pns as he couldn’t think of her movements and guess them.
Sebas gently shook his head in slight exasperation. Demiurge needn’t hide it. He had felt the same many times before. He then spoke, his tone gentle.
“It seems like my walk shall be halted. Lady Momonga had deemed it fitting to come here and grace us with her glorious presence,” he said with a smile.
…
Momonga sat with her legs crossed. Her robes clung to her figure. It was a rather nice day today, and she was stressed to hell and back. A pn that she and her NPCs had been pnning forever was coming up. Yet, she couldn’t shake her nerves.
It was a rather simple pn. Go out there and pretend to beat up Demiurge. Yet, it wasn’t that simple. The whole of the city was going to be watching her. rating her in their minds against the other heroes of the Re-Estize Kingdom.
In front of her was Sebas, Solution, Ninya, and her newly found sister Tuare. Ninya was looking at her as if she was the second coming. While her sister looked like she wanted to shrink into a bckhole there in her seat. It was honestly quite adorable.
“I came here to see the older sister of Ninya with my own two eyes,” she lied as easily as she breathed, “I also came here to take a walk around the city.”
Why she decided to take a walk around the city wasn’t needed to be said, by her or them. She simply wanted to take a breather and stretch her legs before the big pn. It was a simple reason. One that she hoped that her NPCs wouldn’t realize.
It was just her luck that one of the NPCs in front of her wished to on a walk. Yet as he spoke it, She started to panic internally. Of course, she kept it from her face. yet that was mostly because of her atrophied face muscles.
“That is quite the coincidence. I was also pnning to take a walk. Could I perhaps join you, my Lady?” Sebas asked.
‘Oh no, he figured it out!’ panicked internally, ‘oh wait, he just wants to take a walk,’ she figured out.
