CHAPTER - 180 [Royals Flashbacks]

  CHAPTER - 180

Narrator: Eleanor, while listening to the others speak, remained silent.

Her gaze grew distant as the memory of Selene's call that day resurfaced vividly in her mind.

It had been an intense moment, one that touched her deeply.

Shortly after, she recounted everything to Edmund.

  Eleanor – Flashback

Narrator: Eleanor turned, her eyes filled with tenderness, and looked at her husband Edmund with a gentle smile on her lips.

Her fingers lightly traced the rim of the teacup she held, then she spoke with a profound calm.

"My little girl.. she's become stronger.

She's made so much progress with him.."

Her voice was laden with emotion, concluding with a long sigh one that melts the heart.

A sigh of peace, maternal pride, and relief.

Edmund looked at her and asked

"If I'm not mistaken, she's an S+ rank, correct?"

He inquired with a curious yet firm tone, setting aside the documents he had been reading.

His eyes, filled with deep satisfaction, sparkled with interest.

"What if her strength now is overwhelming.. like Azrael's?"

A satisfied smile curved his lips.

For him, and for the kingdom's future, that possibility became a blessing.

The world was slowly preparing to witness a new milestone.

The ranks would experience a historic advancement, and the new generation was ready to shine.

  Present

Narrator: They arrived at the airport escorted by numerous elite guards, all in sleek black uniforms bearing the royal emblem on their chests.

They boarded the royal private jet, elegant and silent, much like the King's own presence.

The journey lasted a few calm hours, unhurried.

The sky was clear, the air serene.

Inside the jet, the light leather seats offered regal comfort.

Dav leaned back in his seat next to Selene. His eyes slowly closed, his breathing steady.

He sought a moment of rest, yet even in sleep, he seemed to maintain a hint of alertness.

Selene, beside him, never averted her gaze.

She watched him with lively curiosity, silently, as if trying to read his thoughts.

  Eleanor observed them both.

Next to her, Edmund watched in silence, arms crossed, with a gaze full of interest and analysis.

Neither spoke, but the exchange of glances between the sovereigns spoke volumes.

  Flashback – Edmund

Narrator: A few days earlier, Edmund called Stefan with a firm tone.

  "Inform the Academy.

Our visit will soon become a reality."

Stefan, the royal guard, nodded and disappeared to carry out the order.

When they arrived at the Academy, after hours of preparations and travel, the convoy of sleek black cars left students and professors breathless.

The royal guard, Stefan, positioned himself with precision.

At the entrance, director Vittorio and many other professors bowed deeply, forming two long, orderly lines.

The students, speechless, watched the scene with wide eyes.

The emotion was palpable; the air vibrated with tension.

Excitement, but also anxiety, fear of making mistakes, of saying the wrong word.

Arthur stepped forward with a determined stride.

His voice was firm, his tone filled with respect and pride.

  "Father, Mother, welcome."

He slightly bowed his head, his right arm over his chest.

The King looked at him with serious, penetrating eyes.

"How did the exam go? Did you pass?"

The question, simple yet solemn, resonated with authority.

  "Yes, Father."

He replied, still bowed, with a proud voice.

Then Edmund turned to director Vittorio, still kneeling.

"You are the director of this academy, am I correct?"

  "You are correct, Your Majesty.

I welcome you to this humble academy where the hero, royal guard Selene, and your eldest son reside."

  Eleanor approached gracefully.

Her fan partially covered her face, but her eyes smiled.

"How are my children doing? I hope they haven't caused too much trouble..

and that they are working hard."

The director smiled, struck by the queen's delicacy and concern.

"Both are doing their best, my Queen.

  They work hard every day."

Eleanor smiled gently, looking at Vittorio.

  "Thank you.. truly.

For welcoming them so well into this magnificent academy, Mr. Director."

She made an elegant bow, gracefully lifting the edge of her dress with her fingers.

A gentle breeze moved her hair.

  The surrounding silence was absolute.
