Chapter 47: I Have a Dream

  Angel Isnd.

Noah, Tommy, and a dozen feathered Sky Warriors from the crew of the Nautilus disembarked onto the charming streets of Angel Isnd, strolling down the aptly named "Lovely Avenue." The locals of the Sky Isnd watched them with curiosity, but no hostility. In fact, a few shopkeepers eagerly approached, trying to sell them the isnd's unique wares.

Noah picked up a Heat Dial and examined it closely. "These Dials are really something," Tommy said as he ran his fingers over a few more of the isnd’s fascinating devices.

Just then, a group of Sky Isnd soldiers appeared at the far end of the street, accompanied by an elderly, gaunt figure. Noah had sensed their movements long before they arrived, but in the face of overwhelming power, such efforts from the Sky Isnders were futile.

The current "god" of Sky Isnd, Gan Fall, approached cautiously and asked, "Guests from the Blue Sea, how did you manage to reach the Sky Isnd?"

"Are you the god of this pce?" Noah asked.

"How dare you!" one of the Sky Isnd priests bellowed in response.

Noah didn’t bother with pleasantries. Instead, he unleashed a controlled but terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki. The force of it washed over the entire area, sending waves of fear through the surrounding Sky Isnders.

Especially Gan Fall, who paled instantly, his stance immediately softening. "My lord, it was our fault for being disrespectful. Please forgive us for any offense," he stammered, his voice trembling.

Noah chuckled and shook his head. "You've encountered Conqueror's Haki before, haven’t you? The same aura that Roger carried."

"Roger?" Gan Fall's eyes widened. "You know Roger?"

"Who doesn’t know Roger now? But he’s nothing more than a notorious pirate—now dead," Noah replied casually. "No need to dwell on a dead man."

Gan Fall's expression grew conflicted. "Dead? Roger was executed?"

"Yes, he was executed by the World Government eight years ago. But not before he left a parting gift that threw them into chaos." Noah set the Dial down and continued, "But let’s not dwell on that. We have more pressing matters to discuss."

Gan Fall's face tightened with anxiety. "My lord, the Sky Isnd is poor. We don’t possess the treasures you Blue Sea people usually desire. However, if you wish, I can offer you some Sky Isnd Dials as a gift."

"Is that so? And what about your Upper Yard? There's plenty of riches there, isn’t there?" Noah smiled knowingly.

Instantly, Gan Fall began to sweat profusely. "My lord, there is some gold in the Upper Yard, but I can offer it to you freely. Please, spare us."

Noah ughed softly. "You're quick to understand. But I don’t just want the gold. I want all of Sky Isnd. Are you willing to step aside and let me take over?"

"What?" Gan Fall’s heart sank. He wanted to refuse, but the pressure Noah exuded was too much. He had no choice but to submit, much as he would ter when confronted by Enel's overwhelming might. "My lord, Sky Isnd has little to offer, nothing that would benefit you…"

"Who says ruling must always be about gaining wealth?" Noah's voice was calm, but his intent was clear. He had no desire to exploit the Sky Isnders. His goal was far rger: to build a unified nation, and Sky Isnd would not be excluded from that vision.

Faced with Noah's resolute dominance, Gan Fall had no choice but to relent. Soon, all 3,259 inhabitants of Angel Isnd, along with those living on Upper Yard, were gathered together.

On a hastily erected ptform in the center of a small square, Noah stood before the Sky Isnders, arms open wide. "My dear people of Sky Isnd, greetings! From today onward, I am your new god—Noah. From this moment, we are one family, and you will all become citizens of the Dawn Nation."

"Our nation, the Dawn Nation, is one built on equality, freedom, justice, and harmony. It is a nd of resilience and defiance against oppression."

"I have a dream," Noah continued, his voice ringing out over the crowd. "A dream that one day, all people will live under the sun together."

"I have a dream that one day, whether you are human, feathered folk, Sky Isnders, or Fish-Men, all sentient beings will coexist peacefully."

"I have a dream that one day, Sky Isnders will have their own nd, Fish-Men will bask under the sun, and humans will sail freely across the seas."

"I have a dream that one day, children will no longer wander the streets but will attend schools, that the young will have the chance to pursue their ambitions, and the old will live peacefully, reminiscing about their youth."

His speech, filled with passion and vigor, stirred the hearts of many in the crowd. Some Sky Isnders even felt a surge of hope and excitement rising within them.

"I will dedicate my life to fulfilling this dream…" As Noah finished speaking, a massive isnd, roughly the size of Upper Yard, descended slowly from the sky, nding gently next to Angel Isnd.

"My people, from today onward, this nd is yours."

  The crowd erupted in cheers.

  "Is this real?"

"A whole new nd! So much Vearth!"

"Praise God Noah! Long live God Noah!"

In the background, Gan Fall could only manage a bitter smile. He hadn’t expected Noah to give the Sky Isnders an entire earth-filled isnd as a gift. On Sky Isnd, dirt, or "Vearth," was far more valuable than gold. For the Sky Isnders, this gift was beyond priceless.

With a single gesture, Noah had earned the reverence of the Sky Isnd people. Previous gods had always strictly controlled access to Upper Yard and its precious soil, forbidding commoners from setting foot on it. Noah’s generosity set him apart from all the gods that had ruled before him.

After securing the loyalty of Angel Isnd’s inhabitants, Noah wasted no time. He relocated the feathered warriors, who had previously been stationed on Westkasis Isnd, to Angel Isnd, alongside the former God’s Enforcers. This bolstered the region’s security and manpower.

Noah restructured the area as the Sky Governorate, part of his growing Dawn Nation. He established his base on Lion Isnd, the former stronghold of Golden Lion Shiki, one of the newly annexed floating isnds near Angel Isnd.

This Sky Governorate now included five major isnds: Lion Isnd, Angel Isnd, Feather Isnd, Field Isnd, and Upper Yard, which Noah renamed Upper Jaya, pnning to eventually resettle the native Shandians there—their ancestral nd.

The sudden changes around Angel Isnd hadn’t gone unnoticed by the Shandians, who had long sought to recim their homend. They had observed the arrival of new isnds with suspicion, unsure of what it meant. But before they could act, Noah intended to meet them.

Noah had no pns to tolerate continued unrest from the Shandians. Stability and order were crucial for the Sky Governorate's future.

Meanwhile, back on Westkasis Isnd, with the Feathered Folk now relocated, Law was leading a group of Frevans survivors to settle in the newly vacated nd.

Currently, Westkasis Isnd was home to over three thousand Frevans refugees, whom Law had gradually cured of Amber Lead Syndrome using his Op-Op Fruit powers. For these people, the chance to be healed was worth the hardship of exile. The fact that their wealth had been confiscated no longer concerned them. After all, on Westkasis Isnd, the currency was the Dawn Nation’s own, the "Morning Sun," rendering their Beri meaningless.

And thus, Noah’s Dawn Nation continued to grow, one step closer to his dream of uniting all peoples under the same sky.
