Chapter 42

"Here it comes, Eria...!" Julian shouted when he saw the enemy wyvern flying at our direction.

"Can you do it?" I asked him with a worried expression.

I was the one who came up with the pn we're about to execute, so the bme is on me if he fails on his part and gets injured instead.

  "No problem!" he arrogantly decred.

"Fufu... Then, prepare yourself!" with a shout, I raised my hand and casted my spell, "Earth magic: Stone Pilrs!"

One of the most difficult magic in my arsenal to cast: Stone Pilrs is not an offensive magic, neither it was defensive. It was one of the few unique field magic that influences the surrounding area.

When it was casted, hundreds of towering stone pilrs came slowly protruding from the ground. Their heights were varied and random, with the shortest pilr reaching only about 5 meters tall, while the tallest stands above 30 meters. Although they looked frail and might fall at any moment, in reality, they were perfectly stable and tough.

  "Here I go!"

Julian signaled and dashed at the direction of the enemy. Then with a jump, he disappeared from sight.

  "Fire magic: Fire Javelins!"

The same spell has proven itself effective once and have damaged the enemy significantly, so it should be wary of being hit by it a second time. As expected, it was immediately met with a fireball and it simply disappeared into thin air. But that's exactly what I'm hoping for...

  "Gruooooh!!"

Just as the sky became clear of the fmes, the wyvern let out an ear-shattering cry of pain. I heard it roar before to intimidate us, but this was even louder than that.

"What is he doing!? It's too shallow!"

Julian's figure suddenly appeared atop the wyvern's back, and falling into the air, he sshed at its neck. Because of my spell, it became distracted, and that gave Julian the opportunity to strike.

Did he lose his bance? Maybe because this was his first time striking someone in mid-air, he failed to cut with his sword properly?

I can see him frowning as he nded on top of one of the pilrs I created. When his feet settled on its surface, he disappeared once again. I can't keep up with his movements at all when he's not holding back his speed. Jumping from ptform to ptform, he came to attack once more.

  "Guh!"

Julian's frown turn into a scowl when the wyvern flew back from his attack. Prepared for him this time, it was able to act before it got unknowingly struck again.

  "Dark Magic: Dimension Chains!"

Another rare magic, Dimension Chains opened up a few patches of darkness near the wyvern that threw chains at it like whips. Those chains loosely attached to its limbs, immobilizing its movements. A quick thinker, it shot a fireball on one of the chains binding its cws, causing it to break and disappear.

Just how many fireballs can it throw? It should've been out of ammo already after firing it so many times.

After one of its cws has been freed, it destroyed two more chains, leaving only one left to tie it down. Fortunately, that st chain bought enough time for Julian to come back and attack for a final time.

"It's over!" Julian shouted as he reappeared in the sky and swung his sword downwards on the wyvern's neck.

  "Light magic: Divine Execution!"

A giant sword made of light formed itself in the sky and struck the wyvern down on its back.

Divine Execution: a reassurance spell that kills anything under a certain threshold of health. Since I thought Julian might mess up again and not be able to finish it off entirely, I casted it just in case. But...

"It seems I didn't need to cast it after all..."

The final chain holding the monster in pce finally dissapeared and its body slowly fell down, along with its severed head which Julian successfully cut off. Its body fell on one of the pilrs, causing it to crash and make a loud noise, while its head simply nded on the ground on its own. From the height it fell, you might expect it to be destroyed, but it didn't. The toughness of a high-css monster really was amazing.

However, who would've thought that it would easily be defeated like this? After all the beating I took from it earlier, it went down in such an underwhelming fashion.

Fufu... It's hard to admit, but Julian made the difference.

With the enemy defeated, Julian finally stepped off the pilrs and nded onto the ground near me. He put his sword back on his waist and fixed his blonde hair which was ruined by the intense battle.

"So even a monster like that was no match for me," he boasts.

"Even though we only won because of me?" I compined.

"Mm... You're right," with a curious gnce, he admitted, "I won't be able to reach it if it weren't for those pilrs and those chains."

  "I'm gd you understand."

"But I'm curious, couldn't you have just defeated it on your own with that massive sword?"

He must be talking about Divine Execution...

"No, it can only damage enemies that are already near death..."

Suddenly, Julian's eyes widened. Then he started to ugh.

"I see, I see! So you really couldn't defeat it without me? But why did you cast it anyway? Were you thinking I wouldn't defeat it in one blow?"

  "It's just for assurance."

"Fufu... If you say so," he snickered.

I wanted to point out how he actually weren't able to defeat it in one blow, but I refrained myself from doing so.

  "Here comes the peasants..."

Julian's mood dropped when he saw his men and the adventurers running towards us.

I was thrown far off by the wyvern's initial attacks, and Julian followed me, so we were separated from them by a long distance.

"I wanted to look at your alluring figure more, but I don't want the others to see it too. So here."

  "T-Thanks...!"

Of course, my clothes were still torn off, and I was covering my chest all this time with my arm. Knowing that, Julian took off his suit and handed it to me.

Because of my pointlessly gigantic breasts, it didn't fit me at all. I was only able to close two of its bottom buttons, so a rge portion of my cleavage was still out in the open. And although my nipples were covered, their pink areos were still left peeking out.

"Urk...!" Julian groaned out of nowhere and said, "I think you're even more erotic like this...!"

"I-It's not like I can do anything about it!" I cried.
