“Um, did you want one? Shouldn’t you be asking Lin that question?”

  Bella says “Lin has taken me on several dates. I may not be one of your wives, but I do kind of have a relationship with you, so yes, I want a date.”

  “Well, alright, if that is what you want.”

  Bella’s response is a smile, but oddly the others are smiling as well. To be honest, it makes me fairly nervous, but I already promised.

  “Oh, Lin, I had a random idea I wanted to ask you about.”

  Lin says “Uh oh! What did you come up with now?”

  “Based on your knowledge of the gate spell and the summoning spell, do you think you could gate to one of the earths?”

  Lin says “Well, technically it should be possible, but why would you want to? I thought you said you had no interest in going home?!”

  “I don’t. When I was shopping with Myria I thought about how limited the available types of clothes are. I was thinking it would be fun to take you all to a mall on earth for a couple of hours to do some shopping.”

  Bella says “Yes! That would be awesome!”

  Lin says “Us going to earth would cause all sorts of problems! Not to mention that the goddesses would not be happy!”

  “Actually, I was thinking we could go to the earth overrun by zombies. We wouldn’t cause any problems there and it should be easy to find an empty mall. As for the goddesses, I don’t think they will mind as much as you think.”

  Kreno says “That’s right, they won’t be as mad if you are taking the two of us!”

  Lin says “Fine, I will ask the goddesses. If they approve, then I will work on making the spell, but no promises. Even if I can make it work, it is going to take a massive amount of mana.”

  “That won’t be a problem, I still have the crystals. Besides, it was just an idea, if it doesn’t work it is no big deal.”

  Lin says “Alright. Oh, that reminds me of a random idea that Mercy had.”

  “Oh?”

  Mercy says “You know how the food pouch records recipes?”

  “Yeah?”

  Mercy says “Well, could you make it so that our clothes could record outfits? That way we could just select it and change into it?”

  “Sure, that shouldn’t be too hard.”

  Lin says “Great! Make sure it can have multiple options for the shoes if you can!”

  “Huh?”

  Sero says “She means she wants it so she can select an outfit and then have a choice of shoes to go with it.”

  “Oh, I guess that should be possible.”

  Bella says “Not going to question it?”

  “Nope! I know better!”

  Bella says “Smart move. You know, if the goddesses don’t like your plan, you can always send me back to collect the various fashions and then get resummoned.”

  Lin says “That would be much easier! Or you could just point me to what we want and I could summon it.”

  “True, both those options would work, they just don’t sound as fun.”

  Brightfire says “You mean they won’t give you a chance to find trouble!”

  “What trouble could I even find?! They are just zombies, they couldn’t even hurt any of us.”

  Myria says “What if we run into a cute survivor that you can rescue? We all know you like being the hero!”

  “I do not! And I am not going to go around saving girls and making them my wives, so don’t even say it!”

  Myria says “Awe! That’s no fun!”

  Lin says “You do know that you are our hero, right?”

  I blush at that and that just makes the girls tease me even more, but it is all in good fun. I tease the girls back and to my surprise Bella actually joins in on my side. It still doesn’t make things anywhere near even, but it is nice to have someone on my side for once.

  Lin says “Ash, you look like you still have something you want to ask us about?”

  “Well, I have been thinking that I should stop using my beastman form so much. It doesn’t really represent what I am anymore.”

  Myria says “You don’t want to be a beastman anymore?!”

  “I was never a beastman. I was a human soul that got shoved into the corpse of a beastman. Using that form has started to feel like I am pretending to be something I am not.”

  Lin says “Does that mean you are going to use your human form all the time instead?”

  “No. I was actually thinking of creating a new form. Something like a humanoid dragon since that is more accurate.”

  Myria says “I don’t know how the tribes are going to react to that.”

  “I don’t think it will matter much. After all, they have all seen me in my normal form by now. In fact, I think that they will respect me less if I keep pretending to be something I am not.”

  Mercy says “That’s a good point. Honesty always gets you more respect. However, it also makes people think they can take advantage of you, so be careful.”

  Sero says “I think a new form could be a good idea. If it is more regal and commanding it could help with negotiations.”

  Lin says “That’s a good point. I think it would help if you show us this new form.”

  Kreno says “Yes, let’s see it!”

  “Alright.”

  Since I already had some thoughts on the form it doesn’t take me long to change. I turn into a seven foot tall humanoid covered in fine golden scales with white wings. Immediately the girls gather around me to take a closer look and start giving me instructions.

  Lin insists that I should make my hair white to match my wings and add a couple of horns. Myria insists that I need to add a tail and I agree, tails are really useful for flying. Brightfire asks me to change my ears so that they look more elven, which I agree to.

  However, I keep them covered by scales, really tiny ones that will still protect them. Lin has me move the horns up higher on my forehead so that I can still wear my crown. Mercy is the one who has me change my facial structure around until she is happy with it.

  I have no idea what making my chin stronger is supposed to do, but I do as I am told. Eventually the girls run out of changes and they all stand back to take a long look at me. They discuss several things about my appearance, but I don’t really follow what they are saying.

  Lin says “Alright, I think that is good. You should memorize the changes and use this form from now on.”

  Bella says “Wait, I want to see the female version of this form!”

  First I create a mirror and study the changes to make sure I will remember them all. Then, at Bella’s insistence, I change to a female version and make the changes she requests. Once she is satisfied, I switch back and forth between them several times to make sure I have them memorized.
