I feel like i'm missing something...
Anyway guys i changed how the titles and Abilities are displayed because it was just bugging me that i couldn't list everything without making the status screen gigantic. So i looked around and came up with this solution that i hope works. I really feel like i wanted to tell you guys something but i can't remember...oh well i'll update the chapter later with a little head note if i remember. And as always if you see a mistake PM me or leave a comment
Leave a review if you like what you see and as always
Enjoy

“So that's what happened…” i said slowly.
All the monsters here have Mirror Shard before their name presumably because all of them are not natural monsters. All an illusion. Is what he said apart from him and his friends. Although if i had to guess i would say that other me or “Mirana” as he calls her are real too as well as Mirror bit-*sigh* Zamora. It's going to be hard adjusting to these names.
“Yes. None of the monsters in this dungeon have a soul and are just mindless creatures. They have behavior pattern yes and move by themselves but that is the extent of their power. However me my friends, my daughters and the final guardian all have souls.” he said.
“How exactly does that make it an illusion?” i ask.
“You of all people should know that, Ms.Death God Follower. How is it that you have the aura of “Her” yet you do not know a thing about souls?” he asked confused.
“It's a long story.” i said mentally facepalming.
I guess i was extremely lucky or everyone around me was plain stupid. Fae are very sensitive to mana and the fact that i have literally been running around in one of their capitals without being detected is a miracle in itself. Although what's up with referring to Kyanu as “Her”.
“Short story is i don’t usually use death magic, in fact you are the first i’m using it on, and i don’t have the miasma to power any death spells.” I explained.
“Based on your demeanor alone i know that you have faced enough monsters to generate buckets of pure miasma. I have gone through some of my daughters memories as well only to find they are not hers but yours!” He says.
I froze. Does that mean that he knew about my previous life? What if he starts asking questions about nukes, guns and missiles!
“I haven’t gone too far back if that's what you're wondering. I only went back to when you entered the Rilang. It appears things have gone well and the earth council has gown. From the looks of things in the markets the tornado kingdom survived and prospered and for that i am happy.” he said.
Phew...Close call. Next time let's make sure we forget those memories or something. Maybe i can seal them?
“Anyway, to answer your question. None of the monsters in this dungeon have a soul to speak of. Thus they give less experience than a normal monster and are easier to kill than a regular monster of similar rank. A reflection if you must. I would also advise you to think twice before yu believe anything that Zamora has shown or told you.” he explained.
So that's why i’m only getting like a 10th of the normal Exp. points that i normally get and why i feel like i’m fighting marshmallow monsters. But he said it was like a reflection? And what about that image of Silva and the pendulum or Hyuna and the lava? You mean...It's an illusion.
“What about your daughters?” i ask while silently cursing myself for falling for Zamora’s tricks.
“I can’t say for certain but i believe that when my wife formed the dungeon the souls of my daughters were taken as well. I don’t believe they have a physical body as i do, even if it is an undead one, but the same can’t be said for them. Mirana’s body appears to be a copy of your own, but i am worried. It’s definitely my daughter but i could not find any memories pertaining to her life.” he explained.
“So what, you think maybe Zamora had something to do with it?” i ask.
“That is the likely case. However i don’t know what could have caused Zamora to take away Mirana’s memory or even if she would know how too. Zamora was never the person of thought so what would she gain by doing such a thing.” he said.
“Something not right.” i too said.
If what Solomon said is true then Zamora is more of a muscle head than a mad scientist. And the body parts she wants...Really isn’t helping her image. It’s plain as day there is someone else coordinating this but who? Since i can’t answer who for now lets try what. What is she doing with all these monster parts? Solomon looked like he had a realization but before he could share it something happened.
“Suddenly the scenery shook and changed to a dull red color to match solomons appearance. Solomon tilted his head with a frown as if listening to someone unseen. He went pale and quickly pulled something wrapped in cloth out of his trench coat.
“There's no time to explain. Zamora has lured monsters into attacking my hold. Her goal is whatever you hold but i fear she will kill me as well. Here take this. Zamora’s is trying to build a new body for herself. If she succeeds she will escape the dungeon and cause havoc on the earth fae.” he said quickly.
The platform that we stood on was slowly collapsing and the streams of light and thought continued to get smaller and smaller.
“She has become corrupt i’m afraid either by her hatred for me or outside influences. She must be stopped, but i cannot leave this place. Please...end her pain in my stead.” he said.
I opened the package that the old man handed me and inside was a beautiful knife as long as my forearm. Unsheathing it revealing a blade shined like the moon in contrast with the a hilt of obsidian darker than night. Carved on the pommel a silver wolf head glimmered. I was amazed at the craftsmanship so i used Inspect on it and was shocked at the description.
“This is…” i began.
“The blade that killed my family in the first place, yes i know. Originally i wanted to destroy the cursed thing but i ended up convincing myself to keep it in case i needed it one day. Drop a bit of blood on it and bind it to yourself quickly. Please...end her suffering.” he said his eyes moistening.
To ask me of all people...But it's the least i can do for this old man who saved my life. I just wish i did not need to repay this life debt by taking a life. I quickly take the knife resheath it and tie it too my waist. The platform has now shrunk so that me and the king are almost touching.
“I’ll do it. But how am i supposed to get to Zamora she could be anywhere?” i say.
“She should be located somewhere close to the Final boss. You must kill the dragon instead of letting her get it alive though. If her goal is to leave this place she will be camped out near the exit. Please...tell her that i’m sorry.” he said.
The platform was now small enough that we were face to face. He quickly kisses me on the forehead and i feel a sense of calm. A blessing? I hear a ding and a notification pops up.
“You must wake, quickly. When you are done with Zamora take the mirror somewhere safe. I’m afraid this is goodbye. I wish you well.” he says solemnly.
He then pulled my hands forward and made me push him off the platform and into the light streams. As soon as he touches the beam he dissolves and goes transparent, but not before i saw a look of peace pass over his face as he fades.
What? That strange ability that has never activated has activated without me doing anything? Suddenly i get a huge headache and everything turns black.

I open my eyes and am greeted by the cobblestone ceiling. I sit up and find my chest and ribs covered in bandages and that i’m currently resting on a pile of blankets. My wounds that i sustained are gone. I am lying at the feet of an ancient looking throne with an even older looking skeleton sitting on it. But contrary to my expectations it did not wake up and start attacking me. I inspect it to find out it was solomon's body.

“I’m sorry…” i say.
He gave his life so that me and Mirana could live. I will give him a proper burial in real earth when i return. After I open a spatial storage vortex and suck up the skeletal remains and the throne I open my menu to check and see what has changed.
I look to my waist and see the dagger is still there in its sheath. I look around my body for a moment and finally locate the aforementioned sigil on my left bicep. It was a fae skull with an upside down triangle with a line through the lower tip located on its forehead. The whole room was shaking and i spotted Mirana on a stone table in the center of the room. I got up to go over to her when the skeleton that was guarding the waterfall ran in the room.
His crimson armor was dented and he was missing all the swords that used to be at his sides. He was looking around for the king when i activated Grave Talker LV6(Active/Passive)[78%] and spoke.
“He’s gone! He has passed on and left me to take care of his children.” I said.
The skeleton, Orjun i think was the name Solomon used, cocked its head and its eyes flared. It looked around the room but couldn’t find the king.
“We...can...finally...move...on...Thank...you…” the skeleton said.
The glow in his eyes receded and his bones turned to dust. The great helm fell from his head, empty, and all the remained was his equipment. I head over to Mirana and shake her.
“Hey, you ok? Wake up!” i said urgently as another tremor hit the room.
“Uuuuuhhhh” she said. Dizzy but awake. That's a plus i guess.
I hoist mirana onto my back and grab the remaining equipment that skeleton dropped. Sounds like whatever monsters Zamora sent are breaking through the waterfall barrier so it’s probably a good time to leave.
OK step one. Get the out of here. Step two. Kick ass.
