Running along the shore Willow trips on a sand castle.

  The party had ended up getting a quest to take a woman’s children to the beach so that they

  could have some fun.

  Wave conversing with Sky.

  “Willow seems to really be enjoying herself, what do you think Sky?”

  Sky points out towards the ocean and speaks to Wave.

  “I am not sure what to think, but that wave looks kind of big.”

  “Wave?” Wave is confused just before he get his answer, which is the sensation of cold water

  going over both their heads.

  “Wave, come swim with us.”

  The little girl is pleading with her eyes as she makes this request.

  Not wanting to fail the quest Wave heads into the water.

  (Wait do I even know how to swim?)

  Wave thinks to himself as he enters the water.

  This thought soon leaves him as he can feel the familiar feeling of the cold salt water

  against his skin.

  Sky is looking at the swim before he notices a large water spider getting closer to

  both Wave and the children, in response Sky yells.

  “Get out of the water know, and you an Willow get ready for battle.”

  Wave leads the children out of the water.

  Wave to the children.

  “Could you play with Shadow while we fight, and Shadow keep them at a safe

  distance.”

  The water spider had sharp claws at the tip of each foot.

  It was also about half the size of Wave.

  Willow tried to attack it with her black flames, yet the waves of water just washed

  away each of her attempts.

  Willow tried to bite it, yet it would dive into the water each time leaving her with

  the taste of salt water in her mouth.

  Wave did not dare use basic lightning or basic lightning kick.

  Sky got into the water and tried a combination, yet before he could get to the second

  part of the combination he would get scratched from the sharp claws on its legs.

  The party exits the water and tries a tooth launcher combination, yet the spider just

  repels the teeth with two swift swings of its legs.

  Wave equips his bear claws and tells the party his plane.

  “Willow when I attack it from the front with my claws, use your knife from behind,

  then Sky will use his combination at one of its sides, this way at least one of our attacks

  will hit it.

  With that Wave charges forwards swinging his arms at the water spider.

  While this is happening Willow has dived under water with her knife in her mouth.

  As soon as Sky sees Willow emerge from the water he leaps into the water at the right

  side of the spider. This tactic is working well, even when it tries to move in the only free direction the

  party quickly catches up.

  Even though Willow and Wave are not doing much damage Sky’s combination is hitting

  the spider at full strength. They finally beat it and get spider silk, and eight sharp legs.

  They dived the loot by cutting the thread in thirds, and giving Sky two more sharp legs

  than the rest of the party. Now that there is no longer any danger the children return to swimming with Wave.

  The sun starts to set so they take the children back to town.

  “Thank you so much, they seem to have really enjoyed themselves, please take this as

  a thank you.”

  The party had come her by chance, but when they seen the reward of ten stones of

  magical force they could not turn down the request.

  These stones are used to upgrade magical skills that had a skill understanding of

  ten or more. All three members had reached the skill understanding of ten mark.

  The group took their reward and headed to the skill merchant.

  “That will be 10 stones of magical force and 200 quartz.

  Just as they leave the skill merchant’s they run into Aurora.

  Aurora to the party. “I have returned lets train.”

  With that Aurora was welcomed back into the party.

  In the middle of a grassy plain with many hills the party is fighting a pair of

  crab like moles. Aurora lets loose attacks from her basic ice.

  The other members can still use their basic magic but if they want to check the

  skill understanding they have to think about the skill itself.

  Wave tries out his standard lightning which instead of its usual blue color it is

  now a light pink.

  Willow’s black flames are now wider and cost more mp but still only use the

  same amount of aura as before. Sky’s wind went from a strong breeze to a mild gust.

  The crab mole try to circle around to surround the party, but Sky’s gust keep

  pushing them away, directly into Aurora’s ice shards.

  Shadow meanwhile is dealing with the small offspring.

  Wave uses a basic lightning kick, which knocks off one of their claws.

  Willow bites down on the fallen claw and tosses it forwards with her mouth.

  The claw hits into one of the crabs and sends it hurling into the other one.

  Sky does not miss this chance and uses his combination attack to finish them both

  off.

  The party starts heading towards the next hill.

  Aurora ask Willow. “Is it my imagination or is it starting to get hotter?”

  Willow wash the sweet off her forehead with a cloth from her backpack and answers.

  “I think you may be right.” Meanwhile Wave ask sky.

  “Was the sun not behind us.” Sky nod his head.“ Then what is that red in the distance.”

  Wave questions. As they get closer to the hill top it only gets brighter and hotter.

  Finally making it to the hill top they see why.

  The whole hill is on fire. In front of them they see crab moles taking off in all directions to get away from the fire.

  In the center of the fire there is a woman with long dark purple hair blue eye, and she is

  wearing what looks to be a kimono, between her two hands she has a sword but at the

  tip it has two smaller blades in between the center which when swung make sparks, and

  then fire.

  Sky laughs while speaking. “So she is the reason for this fire.”

  The woman has run out of stamina so she begins sending balls of fire at the crab moles

  using her mp while staying still.

  Once all the crabs are gone Sky and Aurora use their ice and wind to but out the flames.

  If Sky did not learn standard wind he would have ended up spreading the flames instead.

  “Thank you for putting out the flames, I would not want to ruin anymore of the landscape.”

  The woman bows while saying.“My name is Violet, Violet Pillar, would you be kind enough to let me join you in your

  adventures?”

  Wave thinks about it before answering her question.

  “I think it should be fine, is everyone else alright with this?”

  Each of the other party members nod their head.

  Violet takes Wave’s hand and with an excited tone says.

  “I know a good quest but needed a party first, although it is a bit of a crazy task.”

  Willow’s eyes light up at that last part. The party comes to a small village, parts of it seem to be falling apart.

  Violet speaks in a load voice.

  “I have brought some people willing to help with the plane.”

  A wise old woman meets them and explains how there are two different bandit groups

  casing problems for them.Whenever they are out dealing with one group the other raids the village.

  They came up with a tactic but they need someone with the skills to use it.

  Looking at the last part Wave became exited he could finally work on putting up his

  skill understanding for accessories. Willow liked the quest in itself.

  Sky thought of it as a good challenge.

  Aurora liked the idea of free rooms even though she did not pay as much for rooms

  as other people. The party divided into two groups.Willow and Wave in one group.

  Aurora, Sky, and Violet in another.

  Sky and Aurora went with Violet to put out her flames on the way.

  Wave used basic lightning to separate the buffalo into two groups and then did the same to

  lead his group.

  Violet used her fire to make her group go forward, and in the opposite direction of Wave’s

  group.Wave and Willow were heading to the bandits in the east.

  Willow to Wave is they can see the bandits camp in the distance.

  “Give them the signal Wave.”

  With that Wave shoots a standard lightning into the air.

  In the opposite direction Violet sees the signal and sends hers.

  Sky uses his basic wind to help the flame in the air grow bigger.

  When it starts to fall both Sky and Aurora work together to put it out.

  With the signal both groups of buffalo are spooked into a stamped.

  Bandits come out running from their tents and almost do not have time to get

  away from the oncoming destruction.

  Once the bandits had been scared off the next part was getting the buffalo back to

  the ranch. This took a lot of effort on everyone’s part.

  Shadow helped Willow and Wave with any buffalo that went astray.

  Back at the village.

  “Thank you heroes, you have our many thanks, and feel free to stay at the in free

  of charge anytime.” The wise woman giving her thanks to the party.

  A young man and a small boy both with large hammers over their shoulders speak.

  “You are welcome to use our furnace and tools anytime you want with out cost.”

  With that done they headed to the inn for a long needed rest.
