Cleansing 12 : Our Neighbors

'OH SHIT, OOOINK-SHIT,' I cursed as I ran for my life.

My (STA) was depleting at a very fast rate, though I don't feel tired at all, my speed was reducing.

'NOOOOOOOOOOOO,' I shouted in slow motion as I stumbled on the ground. My body ran out of (STA) so it fell, turned into an immobile state. I take the earlier statement back. It seems my body was already tired from running but my mind won't register it since I'm currently being aggressively chased by these Leaf-Colored Creatures.

  "HEATHEN"

  "HEATHEN"

"I'm not Heathen, my name is Fig I already told you that"

It seems like they mistook me for someone else, and I'm the one who's going to pay for that stupid Heathen's debt. Since my body has already fallen, those leaf-colored creatures slowed down and surrounded me.

  "INSPECT"

'So they are called as Forest Goblins huh'. I said inwardly as I closed my inspect screen.

'It seems like my time is over huh,' I sighed and closed my eyes waiting for my death.

'what's taking so long?' I opened my eyes and looked at them.

They seem to be talking about something. And...

"Heathen you speak the Old Tongue?" ask one of them.

"No, what the fucks an Old Tongue!?" I frustratingly shouted since I'm going to die anyway.

"YEAH! YOU SPEAK OLD TONGUE HEATHEN!" shouted the dude in a high-pitched voice as he grabbed my tail. He then launched me into the air, despite that short, thin body this guy is incredibly strong.

The other leaf-colored creatures started to tie me with vines. All my 4-limbs and including my tail was tied as one. Now I'm really starting to regret wandering outside the territory.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

They drag my heavy body just like those stones we got during the camp fortification mission. The process was the same that it gave me mixed feelings. This makes me remember Jule since this vine dragging thing was her idea. I really should have just given her what she wanted.

While steadily being dragged by these creatures, We went deeper into the forest. From afar, I can see familiar buildings, they are quite similar to the things I saw at the old man's farm but in a lesser sense, since theirs are rather crude and poorly made and it is shorter compared to the old man's.

  TING!

  BEEP!

  'What the hell'

"ANALYZE Contribution Points" I reflexively used my analyze skill towards this new information.

'I have gathered that much contribution even without being aware of it'. I said that inwardly as I temporarily forgot my current situation then I chose yes.

  TING!

  "ANALYZE CONTRIBUTION STORE"

  'AWESOME'

The nervous Hog disappeared and an excited Hog appeared as I checked the Contribution Store out. I have browsed the skill, stat, and miscellaneous options. It's not that I don't want to open the Privilege and Information options but this store won't allow me by saying...

This damn store won't even allow me to browse. It seems that I need to earn more contribution points to gather more information about this thing called 'System'.

I woke up from my reverie when my body collided with a rock. 'These stupid goblins and their harsh treatment, I'll fucking remember this if I survived' I made a promise, and my will to live surges. Right now my beautiful body was covered with scratches all over as we moved closer towards their camp. I used inspect on all the things I saw for the first time while being dragged, though I emptied my STA, I can still use my MP related skills. Those buildings are actually called tents, It was a place for reproduction, the inspect skill told me.

I notice that those compact tents are placed 1 pig away from one another are starting to get apart and larger spaces started to form in between tents. As I get dragged deeper into their camp, I saw a tent, a bigger one and grander than the previous ones.

'It seems that their Chief lives here'.

I thought as I remembered the image of our own Chief. Compared to their Chief, our Chief seems to be pitiful since he does not have this kind of treatment that befits his Chiefly status.

As we entered the tent, a notification popped out.

'The night is coming and Fig has not returned. This is strange, that cautious Fig should've returned right now.'

I thought as I was standing near the camp's entrance. Every member of the horde knows that the forest during the night is more dangerous during the day, we bitterly experienced this when we were traversing it during our search for a new place to live. Luckily at that time, we took the best decision and action due to Fig. And that very Fig has not returned.
