RAINING DOWN heavy barrages of ‘golden pulsar energy shots’ were a ten-fighter squadron of Voltairan Astro-Fighters.
Dispatched in response to assess the breakout that occurred in the Prisoner Pits that lied secretly beneath the city’s surface, the Astro-Fighters tried their very thracking hardest to atomize any emaciated, overworked slave that they saw climbing out of the four holes that Magnus had opened up in the ground before taking off to combat the remaining Galactic Deciders.
All seemed to be going well for the Astro-Fighter Squadron.
They had managed to take out a few grand chunks of slaves here and there with their Squad Leader, Captain Cyris, leading the aerial assault.
“HA-HA-HA! GRAND JOB, MEN,” Captain Cyris praised to his squadmates via the comm-links that were built into their Astro-fighters, which ran on a different operating server then the recently destroyed ‘Main’ Server.
Narrowing his eyes on another group of fleeing slaves, Captain Cyris gritted his teeth as he fired a wave of energy shots at them.
Gunning down eight slaves, but failing to take out three others, Captain Cyris cursed at himself with the cockpit of his Astro-Fighter as he turned around and doubled back to slaughter the rest.
With the fleeing three slaves in his aiming sights, Captain Cyris sneered as he was about to fire upon them until the unexpected happened.
ZAP-ZAP!
ZAP-ZAP!
“HUH?! WHAT THE THRACK,” Captain Cyris cried out from within his cockpit after two of his squadmates’ Astro-Fighters suddenly exploded, burst into flames, and crashed down towards the Scrap Zone’s trash-piled surface.
Scrunching his sweaty brow in confusion, Captain Cyris looked out the front main impenaglass viewport of his Astro-Fighter to see two other Voltairan Astro-Fighters firing on the rest of his squad.
Looking down at his Astro-Fighter’s Holo-Display that had the status reports of each and every single one of his squadmates on its holo-screen, Captain Cyris saw that the two Astro-Fighters that had been shot down were piloted by Privates Horrison and Sawyir.

Eyes widened, Captain Cyris looked out the front main viewport again to see that the two other Astro-Fighters were flying straight towards him.
“THRACK!!!” Captain Cyris then cried out as he quickly dove downward, causing the two Astro-Fighters to fly right over him.
Once he had leveled out his ship, Captain Cyris shouted over his comm-link, “DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO IS PILOTING THOSE TWO ‘UNKNOWN’ FIGHTERS?! ANYONE?! THRACKING ANYONE?!?!”
“URGH… THRACK! I ALMOST HAD HIM!” Kaze angrily shouted through his headset comm-link device after trying and failing to ram Captain Cyris’s Astro-Fighter with the nose of his own.
“Forget about it, Kaze! Get your fighter leveled!” Lero shouted through his headset comm-link device as he trailed behind the young Jorrakan’s Astro-Fighter. “We’ve got eight more of these raxx-eaters to zero so come on and follow my lead!”
“Follow your lead? Pfft! FOLLOW MY LEAD, YOU OLD SKOGGER! I’VE GOT THIS UNDER CONTRO-- OH THRACK!!!”
Kaze quickly maneuvered his Astro-Fighter out of the firing path of three Astro-Fighters who were zeroing-in on his position.
As Kaze spun and twirled his Astro-Fighter around across the stormy skyways that lay over the Scrap Zone, Lero looked at him through his Astro-Fighter’s rain-splattered front main viewport and said, “Urgh… Thracker. RAH!!!!”
Slamming his Flight Control Sticks forward, Lero zoomed straight towards Kaze’s position.
` Pulling back on both triggers to his Flight Control Sticks, which housed his Astro-Fighter’s Twin Pulsar Cannons, the former Keeper of Magnus blasted two concentrated trails of golden Pulsar Energy Shot fire at the three Astro-Fighters that were trying to zero Kaze.
In his hail of energy shot fire, Lero managed to take out one of the three fighters and damaged the wing of another, but the third had fired off of a Pulsar Missile that was locked onto the tail of Kaze’s fighter.
Spotting this with his Holo-Display’s Targeting System, Lero attempted to shoot the Pulsar Missile out of the sky, but he was caught off guard by Captain Cyris and the four other impending Astro-Fighters, who were all banding together to take him down.
“THRACK!!!” Lero angrily shouted as he expertly evaded Captain Cyris and the four other pilots’ organized group attacks.
Whilst Lero was busy trying to keep his own Astro-Fighter in the air Kaze was having quite the predicament of his own.
“Ah raxx,” Kaze groaned after he saw the ‘INCOMING MISSILE APPROACHING’ alert on his Holo-Display Screen.
The two other impending Voltairan Astro-Fighters immediately began firing upon the young Jorrakan’s again, causing Kaze to cry out as he dodged and dived out of their way.
BOOM!!!
