Outside the tower, the war still raged.

  Explosions lit the sky above the capital as Krizardian forces clashed with the last defensive armies of Spilri. Towers collapsed, android soldiers advanced, and elemental storms shook entire districts.

  In the middle of the battlefield stood áris.

  He blocked a devastating energy strike with a sweep of his flaming weapon before crushing the attacking machine beneath his heel.

  Yet his attention was elsewhere.

  His crimson eyes remained fixed on the towering structure at the center of the capital.

  “The boy isn’t just fighting,” áris murmured.

  “He’s searching for something.”

  Inside the Tower

  The atmosphere inside the tower was completely different from the battlefield outside.
