The hangar of Organization Alpha was never silent.
Engines roared in the distance, mechanics moved between ships, and soldiers crossed the metallic platforms in constant preparation. Ever since the battle at the Arena, the base had not slept. Everyone felt it — the war had already begun.
Then, suddenly…
A rift of unstable energy tore open in midair.
The alarms activated instantly.
Red lights flooded the hangar and sirens screamed across the base.
Guards raised their weapons, aiming at the distortion as sparks of green and violet lightning spread around it.
And then a body fell from inside the tear.
He hit the metal floor hard.
Burned. Bloody. Barely breathing.
In his hand, tightly clenched, was a broken bracelet — Lord Vharon’s.
“MEDIC! NOW!” one of the guards shouted.
They rushed to him and placed him on a stretcher. His breathing was irregular, almost stopping.
The Infirmary
Minutes later, inside the medical wing, the atmosphere was suffocating.
Lara stood beside the bed, trembling.
Liu leaned against the wall, bandages covering his torso. Jun stood beside him, silent. Vander remained still at the far end of the room, arms crossed, but his clenched fists betrayed his tension.
The injured survivor slowly opened his eyes.
“W-where… am I…?”
Lara stepped forward immediately.
“Where is my mother?!” she cried, grabbing his hand. “Tell me! Where is Laura?!”
The man coughed. Blood stained his lips.
“Lord… Vharon… tried… to protect her… but áris…”
His breathing faltered.
“…áris took Laura…”
For a second, Lara didn’t react.
Then her knees collapsed beneath her.
She fell to the floor.
“Why…?” her voice broke. “Why, God…? Why did I let Lee fight… I should have stopped him…!”
Jun knelt beside her, embracing her tightly.
“You couldn’t have known… none of us could…”
Lara cried uncontrollably.
“I lost my brother… and now my mother too…”
The dying man weakly lifted his hand and touched her arm.

“My young lady…” he whispered, barely audible. “The God you believe in… will not abandon her…”
His hand slipped.
His eyes lost focus.
And then… nothing.
The machines gave a single long tone.
Silence filled the room.
Even Liu looked away, unable to hide his tears.
Vander lowered his head, saying nothing.
The last of his kind had died delivering the message.
Laura — The Prison
Far away…
In a massive stone chamber illuminated only by fire, chains rattled against a wall.
Laura hung from them, wrists bound by glowing restraints.
Her clothes were torn, her face stained with tears, but her eyes burned with defiance.
“Kill me, áris!” she shouted. “But you will never break me!”
Slow footsteps echoed.
áris approached calmly, circling her like a predator.
“No, Laura…” he said softly. “Death would be mercy.”
He lifted her chin, forcing her to look into his red eyes.
“I prefer watching you hate me… every single day… until you surrender.”
The Fall of XP
Meanwhile, the prosperous planet XP burned.
Krizardian ships filled the sky. Mechanical Spirian units marched through the streets as explosions erupted across the cities.
Civis fugiram em panico.
Dentro do palácio central, Vander estava de pé, trajando armadura e com uma lan?a na m?o.
Um general correu em sua dire??o.
“Dê a ordem! Vamos lutar!”
Vander olhou para fora.
Famílias correndo. Crian?as chorando. Prédios desabando.
Seu aperto tremeu.
“Se lutarmos… XP morre hoje.”
Ele baixou a lan?a.
“N?o sacrificarei meu povo.”
As máquinas emitiram bipes suaves.
Devagar…
Ele abriu os olhos.
O preto desvaneceu-se em dourado.
Ele respirou fundo pela primeira vez desde a arena.
E o ar na sala mudou.
