Hello Everyone!
25 chapters have been posted on Royal Road, so I wanted to give a little update on the story, progress, goals, and what you can expect going forward.
But first, I just want to thank everyone for reading my story so far. As I've mentioned, I am a new author, and this is my first story, so it makes me happy to see some of you enjoying it. We have many, many more chapters to go as Alex grows and becomes a Progenitor. So let's enjoy this journey together!

About me:
As mentioned, I'm a new author. I didn't plan to write anything, but here we are. I've always enjoyed reading LitRPGs and fantasy, or playing similar types of games. A few months ago, I decided to write a story, which spiraled into a book series with many planned books and a desire to do this forever as a career. This will not be a short story for sure. I live in the US and currently reside in Michigan, work in I.T, and enjoy playing video games and petting my cute dog. (Fun fact: Alex's dog in the story will be her!).

The story:
While I can't give any spoilers or comment on the exact number of books planned, I can say I don't expect Progenitor's Path to only be a few books. The path to power takes time after all, especially when the story is universe wise. Progenitors are definitely not from Kansas. It will be a long winding path as he rises to power.
I do want to keep Alex's team and dog in the story most of the time. Personally, I enjoy their banter and interactions, teamwork, and bonding. Sam, in particular, is a favorite who sometimes makes me laugh. I'm still working on personalities and will refine them further; it's a work in progress. But as we know, Alex will be front and center 99% of the time. Powers will be gained, numbers will go up, and ranks will be passed.

Chapter release schedule:
Currently we are releasing chapters 7 days a week. As mentioned, I will be switching to M-F, 5 chapters a week, starting next Monday, February 9th. This will allow me to better maintain the schedule over the long term and save up more chapters for unforeseen issues, bonuses, or increasing Patreon chapter amounts.

Bonus chapters! I've mentioned this a bit the past few days in author notes, but I will be releasing bonus chapters on days that we hit certain milestones. Today is one of those days! We have broken into the top 10 Rising Stars on RR! This is cause for celebration and an extra chapter release! Another bonus will also be coming soon... we are almost at 1,000 followers, which might happen today too. So when we hit 1k, that means another bonus chapter!
Next milestones will be the top 3 RS and every 1k followers after. (2k, 3k, 4k, etc)

Patreon:
Patreon will not be changing much for now. Currently you can read 15 chapters ahead for 10$. (If it says 14$ or whatever for the lowest, that might be because you're using apple subscription. They charge you an extra 4+. To avoid that use patreon directly.) I am hoping soon, I can get the backlog up a little and increase the patreon chapter amount to 20, instead of 15. And far in the future, maybe more changes, I don't know yet.
