"Go on" I prompted.
Tilty got up and dusted herself off. She also tried to subtly look around to make sure we were still alone. Without trees or anything on the nd it was pretty obvious but she still checked.
"I started threatening her. Told her things like if you don't sell yourself to me today, then when you do I would tie her up to a horse stock and let goblins breed her over and over untill she got pregnant." Tilty hung her head in shame.
"Yeah she mentioned that. Wanted to do something simir to you." I shrugged back crossing my arms.
"I know. I heard you when I was frozen."
Well that answers the question I had about if she was in a form of cryosleep.
"But it gets worse." Tilty continued. "When the threat of goblins didn't work I brought in horses."
"What do you mean brought in horses?" I asked already seeing where this was going and not liking it.
Tilty winced before hanging her shoulders down. "I might have been able to apologize about everything before but even I knew I crossed a line."
"What did you do?" I repeated.
"I brought a lot of aggressive breeding stallions and let them roam free around her property. Well your property now." Tilty answered in a mumble that was aimed at the floor. "I knew she wasn't strong enough to get rid of them and that being part of the nd and this invincible didn't stop..."
She let the sentence trail off but I finished it for her. "You let a bunch of male horses go free on her nd in the hopes they would rape her or at least scare her enough that she would run to you."
I didn't get an answer, but the silence itself told me I was right.
"I know I asked but every time this subject comes up you seem to have done something worse. At this point I'm surprised you didn't tie her up and just keep her like that until she accepted to become your's." I mented.
"Already tried that. She somehow gained the ability to move around even when she was bound." Tilty answered. "Didn't keep doing it for that reason."
You're welcome.
That surprised me. I looked up intending to ask my next question before realizing my mistake and asked it to the ground instead. "You gave her the ability to escape?"
She completed a quest. I only gave her a fitting reward.
"No expin, because you could have done more if she was being treated like this." I knew the nd had helped a little bit but if it could have done more then why was Zeldi left to suffer.
Tilty looked at me with confusion but I ignored her, instead I gave a death gre to the ground as if an answer would come out of the dirt.
Nothing.
I tisked under my breath. It was only helpful when it wanted to be.
"So is there anything else you did that I should be made aware of?" I turned back to the Fawn when it became clear the nd wasn't responding.
"No. Well maybe?" Tilty fidgeted. "This wasn't anything I did but Maletary did end up removing all the horses I let go after compining Zeldi had stopped producing any milk. She ended up sending me severed horse heads for a full cycle just to make sure I wouldn't do it again."
"Somehow I don't feel bad for you." I deadpanned.
"Maletary also mentioned Zeldi had tried to starve herself in that time but the nds invulnerability kept death away."
"Anything else?" I asked, feeling my anger at the Fawn growing at the thought of Zeldi giving up. She'd been so happy when I'd arrived it was hard to think of her like that.
"No." Tilty said quickly.
"Good." I growled. "But you are right. I doubt Zeldi will forgive you. I certainly wouldn't."
"I know." Tilty sighed. "Any advice on what I can do to try and make it up to her?"
"Start with begging and be prepared for whatever she tells you to do." I responded moving away from her. I needed a second to decompress before I did something stupid.
I noticed the mia man near the edges of the boundary, far enough away I could only just make out his coloured scales.
"That's all the advice I can give you about Zeldi. If you want me to help you then you need to be useful." I said turning back to face her. "You helped the mia tribe right? Well they still need to rebuild the barn as payment for us housing you so go talk to them about that."
I started to move away as Tilty noticed him as well. But instead of running after she called out to me. "What do I need to do for you to become useful?"
"You're a livestock right?" I asked sarcastically. "Start producing like one."
I left her then needing to not see her face for a bit before I did something stupid.
Deed owner Clovek and livestock allowed full access. Temporary access during daylight will be granted to those wishing to trade.
To distract myself a little bit I brought up my trespassing conditions and thought about allowing builders in with the same rules as traders. It was something I would have to do at some point but until the mia had all the tools and resources ready there wasn't any point in allowing him access now. He had been on the property when I'd gotten the reward and had never expined why.
Current quest: Feed the beast.
Reward: Temporary travel to the Underdark.
Status: Complete
Would you like to travel to the Underdark now?
Yes / No
Would you like your Livestock to join you?
Yes / No
My quest was next on my pn to distract myself and from the completion I was guessing Tarakona had found something to eat. That improved my mood greatly as that was a huge problem solved for now. So long as my Dragon hadn't just eaten some random farmers animals. That might be hard to defend, though it would be slightly amusing watching a farmer chase her with a pitchfork.
I mentally accepted yes to the Livestock part but held off on actually traveling just yet. My reasoning was both girls could use the added sights of seeing something other than my farm and Zeldi has mentioned both the Underdark and Gods below on multiple occasions.
But that just left the biggest reveal of Tilty's story. Maletary.
I had expected her to pop up again some time but after finally being told why she was here I didn't know what to think. Was she a friend? That was an easy no.
I mean sure she'd helped Zeldi out a bit especially when Tilty had gone overboard but that still didn't excuse the fact she been part of creating the situation in the first pce. Add the fact she only helped to get access to Zeldis milk and not because she was a good person and I didn't like her.
The difficulty was that Zeldi saw her as a friend, and I doubt having Tilty expin what she was doing would be believable to my mare. Add the fact that they were really crappy ninjas and it was a recipe for annoyance.
I let out a sigh to myself as I entered my home. It was nice to have somewhere to call home as I didn't consider the other one even remotely livable. I was referring to the bathroom situation back there and suddenly realized we didn't have one in this house.
An outhouse would be easy enough to build especially if I made it close to where the water runs off my nd but I would need to talk to Zeldi about making it Centaur friendly. Tarakona would have to get creative as her's might be a bit too difficult even for me.
"What to do, what to do." I said aloud to myself. "Land, you got any ideas?"
I got no response.
Typical. Only response when it wants to. Not like I could bme it but that didn't make it any more annoying.
Well even with Maletary being a potential problem she couldn't enter the nd and was not really a threat to us anymore. Tilty was now living here so hopefully the tax was removed and traders would be coming soon.
Zeldi's milk was still extremely valuable to me in the form of Farm points but with the size of Tarakona's eggs and there value right now I'm sure I could stretch them out. Maybe sell it already cooked in the form of scrambled eggs? Don't quite know how they will be transported over long distances but I'm sure this world has some kind on fridge technology. Or you know magic.
That brought a whole new thought to my mind. What if Zeldi's milk or Tarakona's eggs were used as ingredients instead of purely by themselves? Would it decrease there potency or duration at all?
I looked over at the pillows we'd been rolling in yesterday and decided that they probably needed to be washed. Something we should have do yesterday after we were done but I'd ended up having to give out massages as 'punishment' for their unmovable state.
No I was not sorry.
Using my inventory I removed all of the pillow cases and left the ones that didn't look like they'd been stained in the pit while carrying the rest in my arms over to the ke. It took a few trips unfortunately but that was fine. It gave me enough time to fully go through everything Tilty had said.
