Scene: Hyūga Clan Council Room – Afternoon
The atmosphere was thick with tension.
Old portraits of Hyūga ancestors lined the wooden walls, watching silently as the elders argued among themselves.
Elder 1 (coldly):
“What if we make Hanabi fight Yuta? Let’s see if that boy truly carries the Hyūga blood.”
Elder 2 (nervous laugh):
“Are you mad? If that half-breed dies, the entire Uzumaki and Uchiha clan will tear us apart… even the Queen ōtsutsuki wouldn’t spare us.”
Elder 1:
“Then so be it. If he wants to be recognized as Hyūga… he’ll earn it through battle.”
The room fell silent.
Hanabi, standing quietly at the side in her battle attire, clenched her fists.
Elder 3 (throwing a scroll toward her):
“Deliver this challenge to your nephew. Tell him—if he wins, he earns our acceptance. If not, he walks away from this clan forever.”
The scroll hit her leg and rolled to the floor.
Hanabi winced but picked it up without a word.
Hanabi (softly):
“…Understood.”

Scene: Konoha Park – Evening
A golden sunset stretched across the village.
Hanabi stood silently, waiting — the challenge letter still trembling in her hand.
Across the park, Ryouta Uzumaki and Inojin Yamanaka approached.
The wind rustled as Ryouta’s Star Rinnegan flickered open, summoning a floating meteorite above the trees.
Ryouta (calmly):
“So… Hanabi-san. You really came. Does this mean you want to fight me?”
Hanabi (hesitant):
“…It’s an order. I don’t have a choice.”
Inojin (drawing seals into the air):
“Himawari asked me to protect Yuta. Don’t let those old fools control you, Hanabi-sensei.”
Hanabi’s eyes softened — but her stance remained firm.
Hanabi:
“…I’m sorry.”
She dashed forward with a burst of chakra, striking like lightning.
Ryouta dodged with ease, summoning another meteorite that slammed between them, sending dust everywhere.
Inojin:
“Ryouta—don’t overdo it!”
Ryouta’s All-Killing Ash Bones flared, his power restrained but terrifying.
He countered each of Hanabi’s moves carefully, never aiming to kill.
Finally, Ryouta slammed his palm to the ground, the meteorite shattering and trapping Hanabi inside a glowing crater.
Inojin’s dragon sketch came alive, transforming into chakra chains that wrapped around her.
Hanabi struggled — until a familiar voice cried out.
Himawari (running in tears):
“Please! Don’t be mean to big bro Yuta! He already suffers enough!”
The words hit harder than any jutsu.
Hanabi’s eyes widened — and the fight drained out of her.
Hanabi (softly):
“…I’m sorry.”
Ryouta dissolved the meteorite, and Inojin’s chains unwrapped gently.
Himawari cupped Hanabi’s face, still crying.
For the first time, the proud Hyūga lowered her head.
Scene: Konoha Shopping District – Night
The streets glowed with lanterns.
Yuta walked quietly beside Segawa, his expression unreadable.
When their eyes met, Yuta’s Shinseigan and Tenseigan activated, reflecting the pain hidden in her past.
He stopped — trembling.
Tears welled up in his eyes.
Segawa (smirking sadly):
“Now you understand… why I say I sleep around. It’s easier than remembering.”
Yuta shook his head.
Yuta (quietly):
“I’ll die before I tell anyone. I promise.”
Segawa stepped closer, her voice softer now.
Segawa:
“You have beautiful eyes, Yuta.”
Her hand lifted to touch his jaw — but before she could—
SLAP.
Sarada Uchiha appeared out of nowhere, her expression cold and sharp.
Sarada:
“Don’t touch him. Don’t look at him. Don’t even breathe near him.”
Yuta blinked, startled.
Yuta:
“Sarada, she didn’t—”
Segawa (smiling faintly):
“I see… you’ll have a beautiful family one day.”
Sarada frowned, confused — but Yuta turned crimson, remembering Segawa’s power to see people’s hearts.
Sarada (concerned):
“Yuta? You okay?”
Yuta (blushing, looking away):
“…Yeah.”
The night breeze brushed past them — carrying both warmth and the weight of unspoken feelings.
