The air was tense.
Yuta charged first, his fist connecting with Kami’s jaw in a clean uppercut.
Ryuota followed immediately, delivering a sharp liver punch that made Kami stumble back.
As Kami recoiled, Yuta spun behind him—
"–And this is for breathing."
—and landed a brutal kick straight to his groin.
Kami gasped, folding over just as Ryuota jumped high, twisting midair and smashing the back of Kami’s head with his heel.
Kami (groaning, clutching his groin):
“Well done, kids… You’ve got more coordination than most shinobi twice your age.”
Yuta (coldly):
“We’re not here to impress you. We’re just holding you down.”
Ryuota (eyes narrowed):
“I don’t care who you are. I hate you for whatever you did to that girl inside.”
Kami (mocking smile):
“Oh, you mean Sumire? I’ll do whatever I want with her.”
Yuta (stepping forward):
“Then I’ll do whatever I want to you.”
Ryuota:
“Right beside him.”
Scene: Inside the Root Hideout
In the dim corridor, Boruto reached out and gently intertwined his fingers with Sumire’s.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Boruto:
“Let’s go.”
Sumire flinched, surprised by the contact—but slowly nodded, accepting his hand.
As they walked side-by-side…
Sumire (softly):
“...Aren’t you scared? Seeing other kids… and adults… dead?”
Boruto (half-smiling, half-serious):
“My big bro might be out there bleeding. His rival’s probably fighting beside him. And I’m down here with you.”
He paused.
Boruto:
“If I throw up or faint, you’ll cry. Then drag me out and call me pathetic.”
Sumire blinked, stunned by his honesty.
Boruto (calmer now):
“But those two—Yuta and Ryuota—they’ll fight until their last breath.”
He tightened his grip on her hand.
Boruto:
“I trust them more than I trust my own parents. Not ‘cause they’re older. Yuta believed me when I was just two. Ryuota did too. They followed my gut.”
Sumire (softened):
“Then I guess… I owe them. Big time.”
Boruto (smiling):
“You definitely do.”
Scene: Outside – The Final Push
Yuta’s breath grew shaky.
Yuta:
“Damn… My chakra—it just cut off.”
Ryuota (panting):
“Same here. I’m at zero.”
Kami (laughing, bloodied but standing):
“I gotta admit… I pushed you brats a lot further than I thought.”
Yuta (grinning through exhaustion):
“Too bad... we weren’t the final act.”
Suddenly, both Yuta and Ryuota slapped their hands to the ground.
Both:
“Summoning Jutsu!”
POOF!
A thunderous cloud exploded in the sky—
—Sasuke Uchiha, blade in hand.
—Kakashi Hatake, calm and deadly, Sarada on his back, watching like a hawk.
And then...
BOOOOM.
From above, a monstrous wave of red-orange chakra crashed to the ground.
Naruto Uzumaki, in full Nine-Tails Cloak, landed with crushing force.
Naruto (roaring):
“WHO. TRIED. TO KILL. MY SON?!”
Yuta & Ryuota (collapsing, in sync):
“WOMP WOMP…”
Kami (blinking at the army of legends):
“…Oh crap.”
Boruto emerged from the hideout with Sumire behind him—
—just in time to witness the sky split open.
I wanted this chapter to hit three notes:
-
Action & humor → the boys’ combo moves and Yuta’s sarcastic lines.
-
Heart → Boruto and Sumire’s connection growing naturally.
-
Hype payoff → the legends arriving like gods to back the new generation.
