The air smells faintly of antiseptic, fresh tatami, and warm rice from the food cart just outside. Peace looms over the village after endless battles. Now… it’s time for beginnings.
Shikamaru, Sai, and Choji walk quietly through the corridor, each holding a notepad.
Sai (smiling awkwardly):
“Let’s see how they’re handling parenthood. We need to be prepared for our turn too, right?”
Shikamaru (groans):
“Troublesome… but yeah, better to study the chaos now.”
Choji (munching chips):
“As long as I get baby-holding snacks, I’m in.”
They split and enter the respective rooms.
Hinata lies on her futon, gently rocking newborn Boruto in her arms.
Beside her, Yuta (now one year old) is completely latched onto her side—his arms and legs clinging like a sleepy little koala.
Naruto chuckles from the corner, sipping tea.
Naruto:
“He’s been like that since the second Boruto arrived.
Like if he lets go of Hinata… he’ll disappear.”
Hinata (softly, eyes shining):
“He’s scared. He doesn’t know why yet… but his heart feels it.
That something changed.
So he’s holding onto the one thing he still understands—me.”
Yuta, half-asleep, murmurs something inaudible and burrows deeper into Hinata’s side.
Sai, Shikamaru, and Choji observe in stunned silence.

Choji (quietly):
“I didn’t know a hug could punch me in the chest…”
Sai (taking notes):
“Note: Yuta displays strong emotional intuition… koala-mode activated upon sibling’s birth.”
Shikamaru (scribbling lazily):
“Troublesome instincts. Definitely Hinata-coded.”
Sakura cradles Sarada, sleeping peacefully. On the mat nearby, Ryuota (also 1 year old) sits cross-legged—watching Sarada like a guard dog with a kunai.
Ryuota (dead serious):
“I will protect her…
From every weird look any guy throws at her.
From every flirt, smirk, or wink.”
Sasuke, arms crossed in the shadows, nods like a proud mentor.
Sasuke:
“Good.”
Sakura (in disbelief):
“She’s literally thirty minutes old.”
Ryuota (defensive):
“Threats can come at any age.”
Sasuke (smirking):
“He’s not wrong.”
Shikamaru (writing rapidly):
“Ryuota has the overprotective older brother gene. Probably inherited from… well… both.”
Sai:
“And possibly intimidate a nurse for like hours.”
A nurse behind them nods.
Choji (snorting):
“Remind me to never babysit those two together.”
Kakashi, in full Hokage gear, stands by the window. Behind him, Shikamaru, Sai, and Choji report in—scrolls in hand.
Kakashi (reading over the notes):
“So… Yuta is emotionally clingy, protective, and tuned to his mother’s emotions.
And Ryuota is already threatening hypothetical boys for looking at his newborn sister.”
He smiles beneath the mask.
Kakashi:
“Guess that means… Yuta’s Hinata-coded, with Naruto’s heart…
And Ryuota?
Carbon copy of Sasuke.
It’s almost unfair how much they inherited from different worlds…
But still found home here.”
Shikamaru (sighs, arms crossed):
“They didn’t just inherit DNA. They inherited weight. And purpose.”
Sai (genuinely moved):
“They’re going to shake the world someday.”
Choji:
“Can’t wait for playdates. But I’ll need armor.”
End Panel: A Split Panel
On one side: Hinata asleep with Yuta and Boruto in her arms.
On the other: Sakura asleep with Sarada and Ryuota close by.
Outside, the moon watches silently.
Narration (Kakashi’s voice):
“They were born from different worlds…
But now they’re the soul of ours.”
