Miri panted and heaved as she stared down at the three douchebag knights, allowing her anger to vent itself as much as possible. Her fists had now been stained with a bit of blood, most likely from her punching too hard. She’s supposed to feel pain radiating from her knuckles, but the rage flaring from within her heart was just potent enough to dull it.
One of the knights, the knight with the red armor, got up from the floor and regarded the redheaded stranger in front of him with a mix of outrage and trepidation. He covered his face with his hand just to keep the blood from dripping down his bruised nose.
“Who the fuck are you?!” the red knight cried.
“I am the one who saved your precious little cleric from nearly getting eaten by the scorpider!” Miri replied angrily, presenting Anne behind her. “But I guess you guys don’t see her as all that precious, do you?! In fact, you cannot wait to watch her die by the hands of your incompetence and bigotry, you entitled, idiotic pieces of shit!”
“Miri, you shouldn’t make a scene,” Anne whimpered in a timid panic, yanking the mage by the sleeve of her robe as a way to dissuade her.
“How dare you hit us?! How dare you injure us in such a way?!” the red knight continued, feeling absolutely affronted. “Do you know who we are?! Do you know what noble families we belong to or who our fathers are?!”
“Listen, bud, I don’t give a rat’s ass who your family is because y’all deserved to be punched right in the face!” Miri snapped back at him. “First of all, you guys should probably treat your healer with some goddamn respect and not only see her as eye candy! Second of all, who the fuck sends three tanky knights together with one healer?! It's a horribly unbalanced team and you should know better than go into a dungeon with that kind of setup! You guys fail at both tactical proficiency and human decency! You all should be fucking ashamed!”

The red knight scoffed. “You dare insult us like that?! It’s not like we forced her to join us! She’s the one who chose to join our guild and accompany us on quests knowing full well of the dangers, all because she wanted to make a bit of extra coin! If anything, she’s nothing but a whore!”
With that last comment, Miri acted on pure instinct and kicked the red knight right in the balls, causing him to let out a screeching yelp before clutching his precious family jewels and collapsing to the ground, groaning in pain. The two other knights beside him saw what happened and went to check on him.
“Go…fuck…yourself,” Miri said with a low, growling tone of anger before grabbing Anne by the hand and proceeding to leave the room. “Come on, Anne! We’re leaving!”
“But…Miri…” Anne tried to say something, but was practically too flabbergasted by this whole situation to do so.
“Stop right there, you bitch!” the red knight said, still grunting from the pain of being kicked in the balls. “You have greatly offended us with your malfeasance! You think you can get away with this?! My family has connections all over the city! I’m going to make sure you’ll never get another job again!”
“Go right ahead! See if I fucking care!” Miri said, dismissing his threats with a casual wave of her hand. “Oh, and for the record, my name is not ‘bitch’! It’s Miriam Caldwell! Remember that name! Carve it into your thick skulls if you can! The name is Miriam Caldwell!”
