Chapter 60: Genius Beautiful Girl

  Chapter 60: Genius Beautiful Girl

When Zhang Yang poked his head in, he saw a white-skirted woman with disheveled hair sitting on the toilet in the corner, the door wide open. Her skirt was pulled up to her waist, exposing two smooth, pale thighs. Her head faced the doorway, and two greenish eyes stared straight at him.

Damn it. Though Zhang Yang was bold and knew there couldn’t possibly be ghosts in broad daylight, the sight still scared him enough to make his balls tighten. He ran out to the sink, splashed cold water on his face, and finally calmed down.

“Pervert! How dare you peek at me peeing!” A crisp voice like a yellow oriole came from inside, followed by the sound of slippers shuffling quickly across the floor.

Then, a messy-haired head poked out. Zhang Yang looked—wasn’t that the “ghost”? This time, he saw clearly: those eyes weren’t actually green; she’d just gone overboard with green eyeshadow.

She was a girl—and definitely a young one, no older than twenty. Aside from her weird hairstyle and bold makeup, she was a stunning beauty in the making: fair, delicate face, sharp nose, soft pink lips, and especially those huge eyes. With that exaggerated eyeshadow, she looked like a bohemian-style delinquent girl.

“Who are you?” The big-eyed girl crossed her arms. Her princess-style dress was tight at the chest, pushing her petite breasts together, forming a deep cleavage that looked incredibly tempting.

“Who am I? Shouldn’t I be the one asking who you are?” Zhang Yang finally calmed down. The little beauty before him wasn’t a ghost—maybe an alien at worst.

Seeing Zhang Yang not answer and instead talk back, the big-eyed girl blinked, like a cat spotting a fish. With her hands behind her back, she circled Zhang Yang slowly, examining him like a zoo exhibit. Zhang Yang noticed she was holding something strange—a pink buzzing device that he instantly recognized from countless Japanese adult films.

Wait... was she just using that thing here? In the lab? Zhang Yang froze in disbelief.

“Pretty bold, huh? Not answering my question and even talking back. Do you know who I am?” The big-eyed girl shook the pink vibrator playfully, then seemed to realize something and quickly tucked it away. “Just to be clear, this thing isn’t mine.”

Any normal girl holding that would at least blush. But this one? She just stuffed it casually into her skirt pocket without the slightest hint of shame.

“So, may I ask who you are, Miss Heroine?” Zhang Yang followed her lead, his eyes still glued to that pink toy. This girl was seriously wild.

“Hmph! Trying to trick me, huh? If I tell you, I’d be falling for it.” The big-eyed girl glared at him and wrinkled her nose. “You have three seconds to report your name, age, gender, height, and weight.”

“You kidding me? What is this, a census?” Zhang Yang tilted his head with amusement, curious to see what she’d do next.

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

Seeing Zhang Yang unmoved, the girl did something completely unexpected. She pulled down the neckline of her dress to her shoulders, revealing smooth white skin and half of her perky chest—she wasn’t even wearing a bra.

And that wasn’t all—she hiked up the hem of her skirt and shouted loudly, “Help! He’s molesting me! Someone’s trying to rape me—”

Shit! Luckily, Zhang Yang reacted fast, lunging forward and covering her mouth.

“Zhang Yang. Twenty-one. One meter eighty-one. Male...”

“Hehe!” The girl smirked proudly, let go of her dress, adjusted her neckline, pinched her chin, and said, “That’s better... wait, what did you just say? Your name’s Zhang Yang?”

“Yeah... Zhang as in Zhang Yang, Yang as in Zhang Yang.” Defeated by a brat, Zhang Yang replied irritably.

  “Oh! Senior brother!”

Before he could react, the girl threw herself at him in a bear hug. Her soft chest pressed against him so tightly he almost got hard on the spot.

“Finally found the team!” she said, letting go just in time, her big eyes sparkling as she stared at Zhang Yang like he was a museum piece. She even smacked her lips and nodded approvingly. “Nice. Just like I imagined—tall, handsome, scholarly vibe.”

“Uh... what the hell’s that supposed to mean?” Zhang Yang was dumbfounded. How could her mood change this fast?

“Pigsy?” The girl wrinkled her nose.

Zhang Yang nodded. “You called me senior brother, right? So I’ll call you Pigsy.”

“You bully! I’ll have you know, my name’s June—fine, Liu Zixuan. I’m your junior sister.” The big-eyed girl pouted. “Didn’t Professor Ding tell you?”

“Liu Zixuan?” Zhang Yang instinctively stepped back. He vaguely remembered Tian Tian mentioning that the lab had a little witch surnamed Liu who dared to skip the first day. Could it be her?

“Yup, Liu Zixuan. Liu as in Liu Zixuan, Zixuan as in Liu Zixuan.” She blinked proudly, confirming it.

“You’re saying you’re my junior sister? A member of this lab?”

“Yep.” She nodded, then dug into her skirt pocket for a while before pulling out an access card and handing it to him. “Here, senior brother, verify it.”

Zhang Yang looked at it. Sure enough, her photo, name, and title were printed there—with a note: Master’s in Molecular Cell Biology.

“Master’s degree?” Zhang Yang was shocked. This little girl was already a master’s graduate? Even more monstrous than Qiao Xier! Hell, he hadn’t even graduated undergrad yet.

“Senior brother?” The big-eyed girl tilted her head. “Something wrong?”

“No...” Zhang Yang handed the card back, feeling genuine respect for this wild little genius. “So why are you alone here today? Where’s Senior Sister Tian?”

He remembered Qiao Xier mentioning that Tian Tian was on duty today.

“Oh, Senior Sister Tian? She got her period—bad cramps. Went home.” Liu Zixuan said carelessly, spilling her senior’s privacy without hesitation.

Zhang Yang wiped cold sweat from his forehead. Yep, definitely a little witch. Better never give her any dirt.

“Then why were you hiding in the bathroom for so long? Don’t tell me...” Zhang Yang pointed to her skirt pocket with a knowing smirk.

“You mean this vibrator?” Liu Zixuan pulled it out again and shrugged. “I just bought it out of curiosity. But I can’t figure out how it works. I’ve been studying it for ages. I’ll have to ask Senior Sister Ye next time.”

Zhang Yang nearly fainted. Wait—does Ye Xiaoru use that often? He waved his hands frantically. “If you do ask, don’t mention my name, or I’m screwed.”

“Haha, I got it.” Liu Zixuan stuffed the toy back in her pocket and looked at him with sparkling eyes full of admiration. “Senior brother, you’re amazing. My advisor, Dr. Owens, spent half his life researching Super PCR technology without progress, and you actually pulled it off. You, Senior Sister Qiao, and my advisor are the three people I admire most in the world.”

“One’s the pioneer of PCR, one’s the discoverer, and Senior Sister Qiao perfected it—creating the Super Anti-Cancer Cells. You guys are legends.”

“Wait—you said your advisor pioneered PCR technology?” Zhang Yang frowned. “Don’t tell me you graduated from Johns Hopkins University?”

“Why not? Your junior sister here graduated from Johns Hopkins—major in Biological Cell Science.”

“You—you’re kidding. You’re telling me you didn’t just graduate early—you’re basically a child prodigy!?” Zhang Yang was stunned. Johns Hopkins! Equal to Harvard Medical School—arguably even more prestigious in biotech. How the hell...?

“Nineteen years old, thank you. Don’t doubt your junior sister’s skills.” Liu Zixuan flipped her wild hair and blinked proudly.

“A nineteen-year-old with a master’s degree? Damn...” Zhang Yang was speechless. He hadn’t misjudged her age—but her intelligence was on another level.

Liu Zixuan lowered her lashes, sneaking a proud glance at him. “Hmph. I started first grade at five, skipped grades, finished middle school by ten, high school at eleven, entered Hopkins at thirteen. Otherwise, how do you think I got into the ‘Dragonborn’ Project lab?”

“Right... but why leave America to come here?”

“Yeah, why did I come here?” The genius girl wrinkled her nose, looked up at the lab ceiling, then back at Zhang Yang. “You wanna know?”

“Duh. Why would I ask if I didn’t?”

“Alright, help me with one little thing, and I’ll tell you.”

Zhang Yang eyed her suspiciously, then nodded. “Fine. What do you need?”

“Teach me how to use this thing.” The genius girl pulled the pink vibrator from her pocket again and held it out to him.
