Chapter 7: Beast, Let Go of My Senior
Zhang Yang’s major courses were actually pretty good. He had earned almost all his credits, so not long after the first semester of senior year started, he began to feel a bit idle. Unlike the three beasts in his dorm who were all preparing for grad school, things didn’t look too good for anyone except the bookworm Liu Qing. As for “Lu Su” and the other local guy, Li Jingdong, their chances were slim.
Especially Lu Su—unless he could completely quit his peculiar addiction, even getting his bachelor’s degree would be questionable.
But those two beasts must have sensed the crisis approaching lately. At least their attitude toward studying was much better than before. Especially the local tyrant Li Jingdong, who had actually lowered his pride and paid several grad students to be his guiding lights.
As for Zhou Wei, though he still hadn’t kicked his bad habit, at least his daily three sessions had been reduced to one. Even on days without class, he’d obediently haul a pile of notes to the study room to cram.
With his three roommates working so hard, Zhang Yang felt zero motivation. After his grandfather’s death, he’d already decided that after finishing undergrad, he’d just leave. Grad school? Sure, he’d thought about it, but right now, he had neither money nor energy. His biggest wish was to use his 985 university degree as a selling point to find a job, marry a wife to carry on the Zhang family line, and after that—whatever happens, happens.
But now things were different. With this strange thing in his head, his life plans had to be completely redrawn.
Last night, he had proudly announced in the dorm that he was going to take the grad exam too. The result? Zhou Wei and Li Jingdong immediately beat the crap out of him.
“Take the exam, huh? Take the exam? Can you shut the hell up about those two words?”
Only the bookworm acted friendly, pushing up his thick glasses and handing Zhang Yang a stack of materials while reminding him, “Don’t forget, you still haven’t passed CET-4. And don’t forget, you need to retake Level 3.”
That’s when Zhang Yang realized just how far apart reality and dreams were.
So Zhang Yang decided to toss aside that damn dream for now. Completing that M-level mission was the real deal. Who knows, maybe after completing it, the damn system would even make him an instant holder of a CET-6 certificate.

In the southern regions, the weather changed fast. Yesterday, it had been so hot that even turtles wanted to shed their shells and hide under trees, but today, a cool breeze carrying the sea’s moisture swept through unexpectedly.
That was because Typhoon “Mowa” was expected to make landfall near Meining City by tomorrow morning.
Though the typhoon hadn’t officially arrived yet, the atmosphere already felt heavy with the coming storm. As Zhang Yang walked along the marble-paved path, watching the swirling fallen leaves, his heart pounded nervously. After all, this was his first time doing something bad. If Xu Danlu told Bai Liangfeng or a teacher, his fate could be worse than those crushed leaves.
Peony Lake wasn’t far from the College of Chemical Engineering. When Zhang Yang arrived, he found that it wasn’t empty—most of the shaded spots perfect for “the act” were already occupied.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
But since he was already here, there was no turning back.
Walking down the steps from the front of Jia Building Three, he faced the center of the lake. From that angle, he had a good view—and within thirty degrees of turning his head, he spotted his target.
Xu Danlu was easy to recognize. Her hair was curled and dyed a light golden hue. She wore stylish sunglasses, a white tight-fitting T-shirt, and a light yellow miniskirt. Her snow-white legs crossed as she leaned against a tree, exuding a fashionable and sexy aura even from afar.
Zhang Yang steadied his messy and nervous thoughts, shoved his hands into his pockets, and walked toward her with a swaggering, cocky gait. Stopping close beside her, he put on a cynical grin and said, “You came?”
Xu Danlu turned her head slightly to glance at him, then took off her sunglasses and hung them on her chest. With one look, Zhang Yang could see the disdain in her eyes.
“Where is it?” Xu Danlu rested one elbow on her arm and held out her hand toward him. She ignored his words entirely and went straight to the point.
“Haven’t you watched TV? Payment and goods exchanged at the same time.” Mimicking the tone of thugs in TV dramas, Zhang Yang gave her a disdainful look as if to say, “You really don’t know the rules, do you?”
“Here?” Xu Danlu looked around, her expression odd. Then she gave a mocking laugh. “What, so broke you can’t even afford a hotel? You dare mess around here?”
Zhang Yang scratched his head involuntarily. Get a room just to touch her chest?
That’d be way too extravagant. But judging from her tone, she seemed to already know what he wanted. Pretending to be nonchalant, though a bit guilty inside, he said, “Didn’t I say it’d be quick? Why waste money on a hotel?”
Hearing that, Xu Danlu fell silent, staring at him with a growing look of resentment in her eyes. Zhang Yang felt uneasy—he hadn’t even touched her yet, so why the hatred?
Just then, a gust of wind swept across the lake, stirring up ripples that rolled toward them and suddenly lifted Xu Danlu’s skirt.
Reflexively, she grabbed at her skirt, but it was so short that even covering the front didn’t stop the back from flying up. In an instant, the wind flipped it up to her back—she wasn’t wearing safety shorts, and everything underneath was revealed before Zhang Yang’s eyes: a pink pair of panties and her firm, snow-white hips.
“Uh!” Zhang Yang instinctively swallowed hard. As he stepped closer, about to help her, Xu Danlu suddenly let go of her skirt and slapped him across the face.
“Go ahead, look all you want.” She stopped bothering to hold her skirt down, letting everything below stay exposed before him.
Damn it! Zhang Yang fumed. What was going on lately? Why did it seem like his face was cursed to get slapped everywhere he went?
The more he thought, the angrier he got. He grabbed Xu Danlu’s wrist, pressed her against the tree trunk, and stared straight into her eyes. “What? Don’t want that video anymore?” he said coldly.
Hearing that, Xu Danlu felt a chill deep in her chest. A wave of bitterness welled up in her heart. Her big eyes first closed briefly, then snapped open. Holding back tears, she stared blankly at him, then tilted her head slightly, glancing sideways at his chin with a cold smile. “Of course I do.”
She stopped resisting and even deliberately pressed her body closer to his.
Up close, Zhang Yang actually looked pretty good—fair skin, handsome features, and dark eyes with a faint trace of sorrow. His plain white T-shirt was clean and even carried a faint natural scent. Compared to Bai Liangfeng, he was far easier on the eyes—too bad he was poor, and worse, morally filthier than Bai Liangfeng.
Feeling her soft body press against his lower half, Zhang Yang couldn’t help but react physically. His already racing heartbeat quickened.
“No. Don’t forget the mission.” Suddenly remembering the M-level task, Zhang Yang exhaled sharply, pushed Xu Danlu away, regained some clarity, and said with a mischievous grin, “Since you want it, don’t be surprised by what I do next.”
His sudden retreat startled Xu Danlu, but after hearing his words, she realized this beast was only playing hard to get. Disgusted, she closed her eyes and said, “Hurry up. I still have class.”
Her sudden compliance surprised Zhang Yang, but since she was cooperating, he didn’t hold back. His gaze drifted from her face down her fair neck to her proud chest.
She wore a tight white T-shirt that showed her curves perfectly. With them standing so close, Zhang Yang could clearly see the outline of her bra beneath.
From his angle, it was obvious her bra was a size too small. Her chest strained tightly against the fabric, as if ready to burst through the shirt.
Zhang Yang swallowed, spread out his right hand, took a deep breath, held it, and with trembling fingers, moved toward her chest.
Feeling his fingertips closing in, Xu Danlu’s eyelashes trembled slightly. Her heart twisted in conflict. Zhang Yang, if you stop here, maybe I’ll still have a shred of respect for you. But if you really…
Before she could finish the thought, she felt his warm, firm hand cup her chest. Her cotton bra was already too small, so she could clearly feel his palm pressing tightly against her round fullness.
Zhang Yang didn’t seem eager to let go. Though she felt an odd, not entirely repulsive sensation rising within, there was still a wave of humiliation. Thinking of her fate, sorrow filled her heart, and tears began to fall.
Seeing her suddenly look heartbroken, Zhang Yang froze. It was his first time touching a woman’s chest, but the warmth and strange thrill that had just filled his hand vanished completely with her tears, replaced by deep guilt.
“Five seconds. Just five seconds…” Zhang Yang silently counted, forcing himself not to look at the tears sliding down her cheeks.
Just as the system’s voice rang in his mind, a clear, melodious female voice suddenly shouted from behind him.
“Beast, let go of my senior!”
