“Time for the catgirl sleepover~” Yuna’s so excited saying that, I can’t hide the smile on my face. Not that I would, nor would it make a difference. My tail gives away everything now.
Lumi walks out with hot cocoa, smiling and dimming the lights in the living room. “You’re always so excited for this, we all live together already.”
Turning around, Yuna pouts. “So? It’s different. Like this, we all get to drink hot cocoa, watch some scary movies, play some games, and cuddle!”
Shaking her head, she glances at me and my tail in particular. “Not sure if Sal will wanna cuddle, her tail’s hyper sensitive, remember?”
At seeing Yuna’s frown, I nod. “Yeah, sorry. Maybe next time we do this, but for now, you’ll just have to imagine the cuddles.”
Pouting, she sighs. “Fiiiine~ at least we can enjoy some good movies together.”
With a sly grin, I speak. “...didn’t we do that two days ago, though? Before Lumi left more cobwebs in the kitchen?”
Tail shooting up, said neko scowls at me. “Don’t be a pain! I already told you, I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom and they showed up overnight!”
Chuckling, I nod, just looking for a reaction. Which she realizes and pouts, before plopping down next to me and handing each of us hot cocoa. “So, first we should play a game, before we fall asleep to some movie, what do you think?”
“Sounds good, what game do you two tend to play?”
They both smile, before pulling out…
…no… not again…
“Uno!”
“...fuck.”
Yuna looks at me confused. “Don’t like it?”
Shaking my head, I sigh. “No, not quite… Reta was just such a pain in it, I always react like that.”
Hearing them both laugh, I smile, before we sit on the floor in a circle and start to play.

I’m only at five cards thanks to a +2, and Lumi is close to that. While Yuna… is at two cards.
“Damnit, Lumi, do you have any plus cards?”
“...maybe, do you?”
Smiling, I nod, while Yuna looks at us scared. “Uh hey… you don’t need to do this…”
Lumi grins, before playing a +2.
And then I stack my own atop it. “Plus four Yuna~”
She opens her eyes wide… before stacking another +2 on top of the stack. “Well hey, at least it’s the wrong color now, if it’s any consolation~”
Letting out a little growl like I were a cat… which I am now… I realize I could +4 her and we’re fine.
‘It’s still weird that I picked up these little instinctual habits I lacked before. I guess it comes with the implants.’
My attention is drawn to the green +2 added to the stack by Lumi, making it a plus 8 in total coming to me.

“Oh Yunya~”
Her tail lowers. “Oh… crapbaskets.”
Grinning, not even minding that I just said Nya by accident, I play a +4, bringing it to a +12 on Yuna.
“Gotcha~”
Her frown and wilted tail turns into a sly grin and excited tail, before she adds her own +4 on top of the stack and wins. “You thought~”
My eyes widen, before I sigh.
Groaning, Lumi responds as she shuffles the cards into the deck. “Cheap win.”
Smug, she sips her hot cocoa before responding. “A win is a win~”
Shaking my head, I give her a curious look. “A win is a win indeed… but how did you do that?”
“Do what?” Yuna looks at me confused, before I explain.
“Your… tail. It sold so well you were upset, before you won anyways. It completely threw me off.”
Her eyes widen, before her tail wiggles around. “Oh, I just made it move down. It’s like putting on a smile when you’re sad, or something. It’s practice.”
“Huh…” I start to try and do the same, making my tail move into different positions.
… before I notice them both staring at me. “What?”
Lumi gives me a small smile. “Well… besides looking like a kitten with how you’re experimenting with your tail…”
That alone makes me blush and my tail raises a little bit, before I force it down.
“...you also said Yu-nya, earlier. Do you wanna talk about it?”
My blush grows to cover my face, before I look away with my tail raised high. “Y-you heard nyathing!” Gasping, I cover my mouth, but it’s too late. Both of them are staring at me with mouths agape.
Groaning, I grab a pillow and bury my face into it, as the others laugh.
Suddenly, I hear a gasp from Yuna. “Oh! One second!” She runs off, and we both watch her confused… before she runs back over with a camera.
‘Oh! That is a decent idea.’
“Huh? Sis, what’s…”
“We’re taking a group photo, duh! We didn’t get one properly last time, with all three of us, and now that Sal’s a cat it’s gonna look even better!”
“...alright, yeah that sounds good. Sal, you’re-”
“Yeah, of course.”
Yuna looks at me amazed. “Wait really? That easily?”
Blushing a little, I look away. “Well… yeah? I don’t like photos that much, but if it’s for the two of you, then it’s fine.
Smiling, Yuna hugs me, before she quickly sets up the camera on a stand. “Alright, you two stand together! Ready… go!”
She runs back over to us, and we try to get into position. I’m in the middle, Yuna is next to me, and Lumi is standing between us…
‘Though she’ll be a bit out of the camera at this angle… I know.’
Suddenly grabbing Lumi by under her arms, she yelps, before I pick her up in a bridal-style carry. Turned into a tomato, she can’t speak before Yuna calls out “say cheese!”
Lumi just panics and goes along with it, and I smile at the camera, before it flashes.
‘Perfect.’

The horror movie… isn’t scary at all, honestly. I thought it’d be worse now that I’m disillusioned to being invincible or something… but no. Some guy stalking in the dark with a knife pales in comparison to the likes of Mira or the Others. Honestly, it’s got me ready for bed at this point.
Turning a bit to see Lumi clinging to my arm, and Yuna clinging to her back in turn does make me chuckle though.
“What? It’s scary, alright!”
Raising an eyebrow at them, Yuna backs her up. “It is! Just imagining someone doing all that horrid stuff is scary!”
“Really? After what we’ve been through, that still scares you?”
Shyly looking to the side, she speaks lower. “...maybe not as much as before, but yeah.”
Sighing, I pat Lumi’s head, making her purr and send rumbles up my arm. Sadly, my other arm is still being hugged by her, so Yuna’s just pouting a bit jealous.
So after a moment, I move my arm to her and pet her instead, earning even louder purrs.
Yawning, I look down at the two. “Time for bed?”
Smiling a bit, Yuna nods and climbs off the couch, pulling out sleeping bags… “Wait. Aren’t sleeping bags for camping, not sleep overs?”
She shakes her head. “They’re for both, now pick one and help me make a pillow fort.”
Chuckling a bit, I nod and get to work. “Yes ma’am.”
And shortly… we’re all asleep together in the fort, the sisters cuddling and me simply in my own sleeping bag.
