"If these skills are things I can use, then to test them I first need a battle where blood can spill. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to battle now."
?Sedric looked around. Joshua had ceased his swinging of the sword and stared into the space in front of him, and the soldiers had now ended their screaming and agony and blindly and confusedly gazed around while observing others and also themselves.
?Sedric saw how they had changed. Some had long hands or different colored veins running through their bodies. Some had marks carved upon their bodies showcasing strange symbols.
?Among these numerous soldiers wandering because of their changes and talking of it was Melavan , who had undergone a change of his own. Melavan did not see any clear physical change on his body. But he felt that his eyesight had improved; it was only after another soldier noticed that he was informed about a strange symbol upon his eyes, like a circle pointing at something in his view.
?Melavan found a puddle of blood nearby and gazed at the shady reflection of himself through it; although it was not clear, it still showed his eyes having a strange mark upon them. It was a circle with cross marks in the four corners, as if coordinate markings.
?Melavan felt panic, and a sudden surge of unfamiliarity about himself. As he was having doubts and confusion, a sound reverberated through the air.
"Enough!"
?It was like thunder in growling clouds, silencing everything except for the one whom the voice belonged.
?Sedric stood in the field overlooking everything as the soldiers' gaze landed on him.
?"No point in screaming or becoming confused, we must accept the reality as it is. It appears we had fallen into some kind of magical thing," he said loudly, and the soldiers looked at him doubtfully. Some raised their voices to show their doubt.
?"But sir, how is that even possible?"
?"I don't know, but that doesn't stop me from believing it, and I order you all to do so too, for it seems only by believing in this can we survive. Now, kneel yourselves and call out for the woman in blue-shadowed light by her name, Sarithra. And you will be able to see a light representing your own self-values."
?After his words, Sedric fell silent, looking at his soldiers to see who is obeying his words and doing as he said. Moments passed in silence where, one by one, soldiers started to kneel one after another. All held their swords firmly in their hands whilst thrusting at the ground, calling out the name Sarithra.
?Following their words, a blue figure of a hooded woman became visible to their eyes, and without a word, she manifested a light, showing their own status.
?After kneeling and seeing their status pages, Sedric was quickly informed of his soldiers statuses from them. And what Sedric became most focused on was their class, where he realized that several people have the same class, but none have his own class.
?Among these soldiers, those that helped him to defeat the three-headed wolf had received something slightly similar to his class, which is named Pack Berserker.
?But unlike his, where he needs to see blood to activate the ability, a Pack Berserker needs more than two people with the same class to activate its ability. Listening to the explanation given by the soldiers, Sedric judged it to be something like a pack of wolves. Someone with this class alone is not that dangerous, but if there is a whole group of individuals with this class, then it would become really dangerous.

Over on the other side of the field where the battle to take down the dark-fur beast had undergone, Melavan had also followed his leader's voice and called out Sarithra and opened his status page to see his own status and abilities.

?Melavan did not understand much, but he was intelligent enough to learn from his fellow brothers and his leader's words. After reading the class specialist skills and learning that they are actually things he can do, Melavan decided to see whether it's true for himself.
?After an effort, he wasn't able to confirm the truth of his first skill, but he wasn't disappointed. Because while he was trying to prove his first skill, he accidentally discovered that his second skill is true. It happened when a nearby soldier, who had been checking his own skills, accidentally launched his sword forward right in the direction of Melavan.
Melavan had been facing elsewhere, but he sensed and saw the sword as if his body had eyes all over to see everywhere, and before the sword hit him, Melavan jumped away, avoiding what could have been a serious casualty if the sword had really struck him.
?Knowing the second ability is the truth, Melavan believed even his first skill to be the truth, and he went on trying to see how it worked. And he wasn't alone in this.
?All over the field, where once a gruesome battle unfolded against the mystical beasts, now soldiers ran around in joy and the thrill of discovering something new and trying to test their newfound mysterious yet addictive powers.
?Only after the voice of Sedric once again raised were they brought back to their former selves, and calmed down by his words.
?"We are learning something new, but currently we are not in a place to be thrilled about it. We should hurry and get to our homeland, and there we can do as we please," he said, urging his soldiers to prepare to leave. But before that, Sedric glanced at the three-headed beast he killed and commanded his soldiers to dissect it and take its remains as a souvenir from the battle; and he himself took the two front, sharp teeth from the middle head of the three-headed beast.
?Joshua, who had still been gazing at the status panel, was distracted by soldiers that were approaching the Dark Shadow's corpse and starting to dissect it. He allowed it, but only after they gave word to hand over its dark fur skin to him as a reward for taking the beast down.
?After taking the skin (blood-drained and dried over the burning fire from the forest), Joshua wore it like a robe upon his back and gazed at the soldiers working.
?Seeing them reminded him of his own soldiers back in the Barony. And he wondered what had happened to them and if they too are experiencing something like this. For once again, Joshua had the thought to escape from here and run back to his own Barony, and it was a thought that kept nagging him until recently. But now, after undergoing that gruesome battle where life was hanging on a little mistake he took, Joshua felt grown about himself. Obviously, physically he did after the battle, but this growth is instead felt mentally, about understanding his own situation and the world.
