After resting for barely 5 minutes, Lys stepped out of the hut before Mira came back with their mother. He did not want to explain anything yet. The pelts were safe near the door. Elara and Mira would start cleaning them soon, even without him saying anything.
He walked fast toward Sara’s house. His legs still felt a little weak from carrying the heavy skins, but he kept moving.
The village roads were busy now. People were out doing their daily work. A few women washing clothes near the well looked up as he passed. One of them smiled and waved. “Lys! You look better today. Heard you brought home wolf skins. How did you do it? Didn’t it just some days ago you got injured by those?!”
Lys gave a small wave back. “Just got lucky, that’s all.”
Another man fixing a broken cart called out, “You’re the one who defeated those four wolves, right? Tell us the story later, lad. We need good news around here.”
Lys nodded but did not stop. Watching how the word got around this fast made him flinch a little. But thinking about becoming a hotshot around the village might not be so bad, made him smile inwardly.
As he was walking, his mind was on Sara. He only planned to ask her one thing: to help him sell the pelts in the capital. The faster she reaches out to any buyer, the better. That’s why he came straight to her house even though his leg was hurting.
They would get much better money for those pelts there than in this small village. After informing Sara, he would go straight home.
He reached Sara’s gate. The same talkative servant woman from earlier was sweeping the yard now. She saw him and smiled. “Back again? Miss Sara is in her workroom. I’ll let her know, wait here.”
‘Figures, they can’t just let me in as I wish, just because I am acquainted with their master.’
A short time later, Sara came out. She had changed her clothes. Now she wore a simple dress that fit her body nicely. Her hair was tied up, but a few strands fell around her face. She looked at Lys, and her eyes lit up with a playful smile.
“You again?” she said, her voice soft and teasing. “Twice in one morning. People will start talking if you keep coming here like this, you know.”
Lys smiled back. “Yeah, let them talk. I just came to ask you something important.”
Sara stepped closer. Her hand lightly touched his arm for a second. “Important enough to leave those big wolf pelts for your family to clean on their own? Come inside. We can talk in my workroom. It’s quiet there. No one will disturb us.”
They walked through the house together. Sara’s hand brushed his arm again. This time it stayed a little longer.
--------
When they reached the small workroom, she closed the door behind them. The room had a big wooden desk, stacks of papers, and a comfortable chair. Sunlight came through the window and made the room feel warm and private.
Sara leaned against the desk. “So, what’s this important thing? You want me to help sell those pelts in the capital, don’t you?”
Lys was not that surprised to hear her say it first.
She continued, “Tina told me when she came back. Those wolf pelts you collected are unusual, right? The fur is thicker than normal, and the color has a strange shine. You knew that, didn’t you? That those wolves are not normal?!”

Lys gave her a small smile. He did not say yes or no. He just looked at her with his smile.
Sara smiled wider. “You got me there. Hehe. But I don’t dislike it. The man I’m interested in has to be a little clever. It has a special charm to it, don’t you think?”
Hearing her say out loud that she was interested in him all along made Lys smile. His heart beat faster. "Hmm, Interested? You’re saying that so clearly now?”
Sara laughed softly. “Why not? Life is short in this world. Plus, capable and young men are so hard to find these days. After seeing you carry four wolf pelts like they were nothing, and save a noble lady from wolves on your own... of course, I’m interested. Very interested. You know what, why don’t you come for dinner at her, just you and me?!”
Before Lys could give her a response, suddenly, a blue screen appeared in front of him with a ‘TA-TANG’ sound.
It was a new quest.
<< Tier 3 Quest: “Breed the Landowner” >>
Objective: Have sex with Sara Thorne
Reward: 1000 SP | Permanent +10 Strength | Sara’s full support
Note: Target shows signs of arousal. Host has a higher chance of getting laid with her now.
------
Lys stared at the screen. His mouth went dry. This was a very sudden, but big quest for sure. Tier 3 already.
For a second, he thought about the pelts waiting at home for a moment. Mira and Elara would start cleaning them soon. He only came here to ask Sara about selling them in the capital, thinking he would go back right after that. But now…
The quest glowed bright in his face; it was telling him basically that Sara was in the mood now. Who knows if he might ever get this chance yet again? Even if she is in search of a mate, a bigshot like her can easily find someone suitable for her and settle down with him. So, how can he, in his right mind, walk away from this chance?
Sara tilted her head. “You went quiet again. What are you thinking about, Lys?”
Lys looked at her. His voice became lower. “Nothing, I was just thinking... why wait until tonight? Why don’t we have that meal right now, you know…?”
Sara’s eyes widened for a second, then she smiled slowly. The smile promised everything. “Now? Right here? Bold, Lys. I like that,” she gave a seductive smile while saying that.
She stepped closer until her body almost touched his. “But can you back up your own words? I’m a very possessive woman, you know. So better think twice before saying whatever comes to mind.”
Lys smirked a little,” Oh, you say, you’re possessive. How possessive can you be?! Not more than me, I’m sure. But be sure of what you want, I don’t just fuck around, you know. If you want me, you gotta play with my rules, can you do that?”
Sara’s smile faded a little, giving up her seductive aura a little bit, before gaining it again.
“Rules, you say. Okay. I’ll think about them, and hell, I’ll even help you with anything you want. But only after I get to see for myself how good you are. If you pass, then consider you got yourself a deal. What do you say?”
Hearing her approval, Lys instantly put his hands on her waist. “Okay, we will see that then. If I pass your standard or not.”
Sara’s breath caught. He suddenly grabbed her. She looked up at him, her cheeks turning pink. “Works for me too.”
-------
The room felt smaller suddenly. Lys grabbed her butt with both hands and lifted her up. Sara let out a surprised laugh that turned into a soft moan when he slammed her gently onto a desk. Papers fell to the floor. She wrapped her legs around him and pulled him closer.
“You’re strong,” she whispered, her voice already breathy. “So, I mistook you, it seems. You ARE the type who just takes what he wants!”
Lys kissed her neck hard. “What have you even seen about me? This is nothing. Let me show you how hot the fire inside me is burning for you.”
Sara’s hands went to his shirt. She pulled it open. “Then don’t stop. I’ve been thinking about this since you brought Lady Elowen back, covered in blood but still standing like a hero. I want to see that hero again. Show me.”
Lys pushed her dress up her thighs. His fingers found her warm and soft pussy. Sara moaned quietly and arched her back. “Yes... like that. Harder, Lys. I can take it.”
He pressed against her on the desk. The wood creaked under them. Sara’s fingers dug into his shoulders. “Don’t be gentle,” she begged, her voice low and needy.
“I want to feel you. I want to know if you are just all talk or really special. Show me right now.”
