F.L 2 Death Called His Name

  Falling Leaves 2 ??

The sky is a soft lavender, the light of the sunset streaming across it reflecting off the clouds.

A multitude of floating islands sit above an endless sea, At the edge of a cliff sitting at a tree side, a man with long locs tied back in a high ponytail, with a pair of slender braids hanging freely to frame his face.

The color of his hair is white snow, his golden brown skin that glows from the sunlight washing over him, his violet eyes gazing into the sky. He wears a black cloak with his inner clothing is a pure white just like his hair.

He sighs “Another long day—- I can’t get a break from bullshit can I—-”

He leans back on the tree putting his arms behind his head. “Reap this, Reap that, then when I do it’s the same damn thing every time!”

“‘Oh please don’t take me!, I have so much to live for!’ ‘Can we make a deal!, I don’t want to die yet!’” He says mockingly.

“Is it really that hard for mortals to accept death?! It happens to everything and everybody! Why do they think they can bargain!”

He huffs “Whatever—- at least I get a small break, the other two can handle collecting souls for right now..”

“AUGH!” He screams clenching his chest as a sudden sharp pain as if he’s been stabbed courses through him.

He leans forward coughing, purple mist appears in front of him, materializing as a black notebook with an emblem of a skull in the middle of it. It opens itself scrolling through pages, until landing on a blank one.

“What the hell?!” The man grunts looking up at it, a name starts to appear on one of the lines.

“Clyde—- Porsh—-?” He mutters, he stands grabbing the notebook from the air.

He rubs his chest soothing the pain “Is this some kind of name? That it needs to interrupt my break!”

He lets out a sharp sigh, he lifts his pointer finger as the point starts to glow violet, he traces over Clyde’s name.

He instantly turns into violet mist transporting to him.

Leaves fall from the tree in his wake, residue of the mist touching one of them, instantly decaying it.

  DATE: Wednesday November 5th 2008.

  6:16 A.M

Clyde wakes up on the couch, his body still heavy and groggy from the overdose.

“Shit—-” he mutters holding his head.

His alarm starts to beep across the room, the sound still distorted in his head.

He groans “It’s a school night isn’t it—-”

“I just might not go—- fuck—-”

His eyes grow heavy, his eyes still red, he shuts his eyes trying to blink, barely able to open them back up.

He slowly opens them seeing a strange man standing in front of him.

The light of dawn arising, making his violet eyes shine.

“Am I hallucinating again—- am I back in that damn dream world?”

“Are you Clyde Porsh by any chance?” He asks his voice low and calm.

  “Uh—-” Clyde mutters.

“Can you speak? Hola anyone home?” The man says waving his hand in front of his face.

“W-who are you—- how are you in my room?”

The man raises an eyebrow “Who am I didn’t I just ask you—-”

“Ugh never mind how rude of me, I did barge in here.”

He sighs “My name is Akuji, One of the Three Reapers, an agent of death or whatever.”

“Reaper? One of the three? And you just spoke Spanish?” Clyde replies

  “You’re Sue?o testing me again aren’t you!-”

Akuji tilts his head “Huh? Sue?o?”

“Pfft rest assured I’m no dream, I’m a real Death Spirit here to collect your soul.”

Clyde huffs “This has to be another hallucination now I’m talking to a ‘Death Spirit’.”

“It’s nothing but a little guy with violet contacts in and wearing an edgy robe, you look like a final fantasy villain. I’ve watched too much anime recently.”

“Anime? Final Fantasy? What the hell are you talking about?”

Akuji shakes his head “Never mind, just let’s make this easy for the both of us get going.”

Purple mist appears in front of him as the notebook reappears.

Clyde’s eyes widen “That has—- it’s the same as—-”

“Hell no! It is one of you ‘Spirits!’ Trying to kill me now eh?”

Clyde clenches his fist “I won’t die until I’ve achieved my dream! I won’t die so young! I refuse!”

Akuji rolls his eyes “Oh here we go, another one trying to deny death. Listen kid life isn’t fair, you can have all the dreams and aspirations you want, when it’s your time it’s your time.”

  “Grrr!” Clyde growls.

“Listen you’re not the only one who’s said this to me you know? I’ve had kings plead, children weep, the elderly wishing for their youth back. Even people like you with grand plans begging for just a little more time.”

“So why would I decide to go against nature and spare you? Who are you to the cosmos? How would that be fair to everyone else I’ve reaped?”

Clyde starts to tremble “I SAID I’M NOT DYING!”

“WIND BLAST!” He screams swinging a punch with all his might.

Akuji steps back as Clyde falls to the ground missing his strike.

  “Right—- anyways. You ready?”

Clyde looks at his palms “No—- Where’s my wind power?! Where’s my core!”

Akuji’s ears twitch a bit “Core? Wait you know what a core is?”

“How does a mortal like you know about that? You’re certainly no monk or sage—-”

“Ugh! Your damn sister or something told me about it! I fought her in the Astral Realm!”

“My sister?-” Akuji mutters. “I don’t have a sister what are you talking about?”

“Sue?o! That crazy bitch! You’re exactly like her! The anime like hair! The purple eyes! Short and crazy!”

“Sue?o?? That’s the second time you said that word, so it’s a name? Of a woman who’s similar to me?”

He hums “Has another Shinigami come to collect you before?”

“No impossible, there’s only me D and

Az who have permission to access the mortal realm.”

Akuji leans forward “Say kid mind giving me information about this Sue?o what’s she like? Is she hot? Cute? Ugly?”

Clyde grits his teeth “Why should I give you anything you’re about to kill me! Just fuck off!”

Akuji sighs “Who said I’m killing you? You killed yourself buddy, I’m simply doing my job it’s not personal.”

“Tch what do you mean I killed myself?!”

Akuji chuckles “I don’t know how to spell it out to you, if we’re having a conversation, you’re already dead. You wouldn’t be seeing me right now if you were alive.”

He opens the notebook, showing Clyde the page with his name. “See, you can’t fight what already happened, that’s why I’m saying let’s go!”

Clyde’s eyes widen “No way—- I’m not dead, I’m talking just fine! I feel pain still! I just woke up!”

“Notice when you woke the first thing you saw was me? That was you crossing over from life to death. And that little ‘Wind Blast’ you tried was your final breath.”

He shrugs “Soon as you hit that ground, your life was poof!”

  “NO YOU’RE LYING!”

Suddenly the sound of knocking echoes across the room, the door opens.

Akuji smirks “See for yourself since you won’t take my word for it.”

Manny walks in the room, “Hey bro, so it turns out that wasn’t LSD, it was some type of extreme psychedelic.”

He freezes seeing Clyde’s body on the floor. “—-Clyde?”

“And here we go here comes the disbelief.”Akuji mutters.

“CLYDE!” Manny yells rushing to his body, “HEY WAKE UP! WAKE UP! HELLO?! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!”

He turns his body over laying his palm on his chest checking for a heartbeat.

Nothing, silence, no pulse, his body growing more cold by the second.

“FUCK!” Manny screams tears streaming down his face.

“MANNY I’M RIGHT HERE! I’M HERE! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!” Clyde bellows starting to weep.

“He can’t hear you, he can’t see spirits, both you and I are invisible to this guy.”

Manny pulls out his phone and flips it open, he dials 911.

“Ou, see this is a little new to me. I never understood these little boxes of communication you mortals had. I believe it hasn’t been too long since you guys had such a thing!”

“Hello Emergency Dispatch what is your emergency?” A woman’s voice says.

“MY BROTHER! HE’S DEAD! MY BROTHER IS FUCKING DEAD!”

“Sir, please calm down! Please tell me what happened!”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT HAPPENED? HE’S DEAD! HE OVERDOSED! HE’S NOT RESPONDING.” Manny drops to his knees continuing to shake his body.

  “Bro please wake up! PLEASE!”

Clyde cries watching Manny breaking down.

“To someone who loves that much, I see where his pain is coming from. I’d be acting the same way if I lost her.”

“SHUT UP! WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF LOSS! YOU’RE THE ONE WHO KILLS! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT.”

Akuji chuckles “Really? Is that what you believe? Just because I escort lives doesn’t mean I haven’t experienced my own loss or don’t have someone I love.”

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

“I invite, I don’t take learn the difference between that.”

He stretches “Anyways let’s get going, I don’t want to waste more time.”

“I’m not going anywhere! I’ll remain a ghost for all I care!” Clyde says.

“Yeah that’s nice and cute and all, but my patience is wearing thin, I’ll just sign you and get this over with.” Akuji says as purple mist surrounds his palm creating a pen.

  “Manny—- Daisy—- Dad—- I’m sorry!”

Akuji presses the pen on the paper, “Let’s see the number of sins you have—-”

“Oh damn you have quite a bit for someone who only lived 21 autumns—-”

“You killed a pastor before huh? Interesting—- abuse, robbery, entitlement—- Pride.”

He laughs “You’re a real piece of shit aren’t you HA! It’s okay me too pal, me too.”

“I’ll let you off easy though. 1st circle of Hell for only hmmm—- 2 months in your mortal time.”

“HELL?!” Clyde shouts, “NO PLEASE STOP! I’LL CHANGE, I BEG, I BEG YOU!”

“IF THE LORD CAN HEAR ME TOO I PROMISE I REPENT.”

Akuji starts to write on the page “Yeah, sorry there’s no way I can let you in Heaven like this, I’ll get in trouble. But hey you can always repent for those 2 months.”

Clyde whimpers “No—-” in that moment a white light appears in front of the two.

“Huh?” Akuji hums raising his eyebrow, Clyde faces the light a sense of a familiar warm feeling washes over his soul.

“It’s—- the same as that day—-”

Akuji scoffs “So an angel is here huh? Here to interfere with my job? I’m real sick of you things!”

He sticks his palms out as violet flames erupt from it.

Two wings sprout from the light, Akuji grits his teeth “Come on! Do something!”

“What is happening?!” Clyde shouts covering himself from the heat of Akuji’s flames.

In the distance sirens can be heard outside. Manny stands “They’re here the ambulance!” He rushes out the room.

  “Manny—-” Clyde mutters.

“Shinigami.” A voice calls out coming from the light.

  “Hm? Oh you can speak?”

“You are not to send the child to damnation, you will be making a grave mistake.”

Akuji laughs “And who are you to tell me how to do my job? I’m sure I trust my judgement of knowing where to send mortals.”

“So piss off back to Heaven!” He grits his teeth “Matter of fact!” He summons his pen back in his palm, pressing it on the paper.

“I’ll send him there right now!” He begins to write.

“STOP!” Clyde screams, the angel’s light grows brighter, as two more wings sprout out.

As Akuji writes the destination, something strikes him in the face “UGH!” He grunts. The blow causes him to scribble on the page.

A white light bursts out of the notebook engulfing the entire room.

Clyde covers his eyes, as Akuji regains balance “DAMN YOU! STUPID ANGEL!” As he’s engulfed by the light.

The light swallows the entire room, “AHHHHUG!” Clyde screams, feeling his being pulled.

Everything feels silent as everything disappears.

In that second, Clyde appears above a clear pond reflecting a blue sky above.

He crashes into it causing the water to erupt into the air.

He surfaces his head catching his breath, as a golden halo floats above his head, he spits water out of his mouth. “Holy shit! Where am I now?!”

He looks around and sees an open field of grassland, the grass flows from the wind breeze against it, the sunlight hugs Clyde’s skin giving a feeling of warmth.

“Okay—- no now I know this still can’t be real! This is part of the trip right?! I thought I was going to hell?!”

“YOU ARE DAMN IT!” Akuji’s voice screams.

Oh great of course he’ll be right there! Clyde thinks to himself whirling his head to Akuji crossing his arms tapping his foot.

“Could have just been a simple day! But no I was tasked with getting this IDIOTO!”

  He rubs his temples “MIERDA!”

Clyde floats in the pond silent, watching Akuji breakdown “Uh—-”

“CALLAR!” Akuji shouts sticking out his palms. “Cadenas de podredumbre!!” Violet mist surrounds his palms as pure black chains appear from them.

“HEY! YO,YO,YO CHILL MY NIGGA! DON’T PUT ME IN CHAINS!” Clyde backs up splashing water towards Akuji.

“LISTEN WE GOT OFF AT THE WRONG FOOT, AT THE END OF THE DAY WE BOTH BROTHAS YOU KNOW?!” He raises his fist. “WE CAN’T DO THIS TO EACH OTHER!”

“What the hell are you talking about?!” Akuji scowls “Nigga? Brothers? What the hell does that even mean!? Don’t put your mortal words on me!”

“What?! You’ll do this to your own people?! We’re both Black!” Clyde says.

“My people? You are no Death Spirit, our skin may be similar in ways but trust me in no way are we the same! Not even close!”

Akuji fires the chains around Clyde as they squeeze him tight. “UGH!” He grunts as Akuji yanks him out of the pond, he flies through the air landing at Akuji’s feet.

“Shit! You didn’t have to do it so hard! And for your information you’re black! You are my people! The other races would look at you and treat you the same way they did us for years!”

“Tch!” Akuji smacks his lips “You have a thick skull don’t you?! I’ve seen the rises and falls of civilizations, I’ve seen countless of these ‘races’ your kind has, you are all the same! You all fall to my hand at the very end! They know I’m not mortal so no they won’t treat me as your people fool!”

“Still at least have a heart-” before Clyde could finish Akuji wraps a chain around his mouth.

“I don’t have time for this! You tell me how to have a heart? This is my job, I didn’t meet you to become your friend, my job is to deliver your soul and that’s what I’m going to do.”

He squints his eyes noticing Clyde’s naked under his chains. “Ugh—-” he groans. “Okay—- I’m not carrying him like this—-”

“MmMMmMm!” Clyde muffles in the chains squirming around.

“Shinigami!!! It’s a Shinigami!” A high pitched voice yells out.

Akuji turns to the direction it came from “Oh great—- now I have to deal with Spirits hunting me down—-”

A group of bipedal weasel like spirits with grey fur approach Akuji.

“Oi, fellow Kamaitachis! You know the drill Death Spirit 8 o’clock!” The bigger one with a scar on its eye says, it spreads its arms sprouting its claws.

“Tuh—-” Akuji groans “I’m not in the mood—- Move out the way before I slaughter every last one of you!”

The Lead Kamaitachi snickers “You slaughter us? You can’t handle all 23 of us at the same time! We’ll cut you to pieces.”

“Really? You believe I can’t handle an army of rodents? Oh please—-”

Akuji holds his hand out purple mist surrounds him transforming into a gaunt black and violet scythe.

“Now again move out the way, before you get erased! You filthy rats!”

“Oh look at the Shinigami getting feisty! It’ll feel good getting rid of your kind—-”

It steps forward “CHARGE!” As the others rush towards Akuji, their screams combining radiating through the air.

Akuji’s eyes start to glow violet, shadows start to surround his scythe.

He steps forward instantly rushing towards the army, as he clashes with them, the lead Kamaitachi lunges first towards him, Akuji sidesteps turning into purple mist, “Huh?” The Kamaitachi grunts, as Akuji materializes beside him hacking his scythe through its head, blood sprays from the wound, the Kamaitachi’s body wobbles, falling to the ground with a thud.

“BOSS!” The others yell continuing to charge. Akuji disappears again, reappearing in the middle, his feet ignite with violet flames as he crashes in the middle of the army, violet flames erupt from the ground.

The Kamaitachi scream in agony, Akuji twirls his scythe planting his foot forward, he whirls around slicing through the Kamaitachi behind him.

Purple particles rise into the air from the burning grass, the flames illuminating the area like a purple hell.

Clyde by the pond turns his head to the massacre, he watches as Akuji kills each one.

This guy—- this guy is insane—- He has this strength?! This isn’t fair for these animals!

Akuji grabs one by the neck “HUGH!” It gasps, as he hurls it in the pond, it crashes into it.

The drops from the splash rain on Clyde, the Kamaitachi resurfaces gasping for air.

“Damn it all!” It shouts, watching as the violet light dims, Akuji kills the last Kamaitachi, blood stains his face and scythe.

He huffs as steam escapes his mouth, he slams the body on the ground.

His gaze darts to Clyde making eye contact “Oi! We’re leaving now—- Make any sudden noise or movement and you’ll be the next one dead, do you understand me?” He says lowly and venomous.

Chills run down Clyde’s spine, as his body is frozen.

The Kamaitachi climbs out the pond huffing “Pillagers! That’s all you people are, you Death Spirits are scum!”

“You kill pillage my colony! Kill my kind, take our resources!”

Akuji slowly walks up to it “I don’t care, what the other Shinigami have done. I don’t care for your people, village or anything like that, now get out of my face before you die like your kin.”

“Don’t care?! You take pride in your kind savaging others for their own exploits! My tribe is in poverty because of you Death Spirits!”

  “Princess-”

“Nui right?” Akuji interrupts. “Huh?!” The Kamaitachi grunts in confusion.

“Are you trying to guilt trip me saying your tribe is suffering because of us Death Spirits?”

“Take a look at your princess, she’s striving isn’t she? And do you ever wonder why? I know all about her.”

  The Kamaitachi’s eyes twitch “E-explain!”

Akuji grins “She gains off your suffering, the Death Spirits that she made the deal with didn’t exploit anything she made the trade.”

“If you have anyone to blame, blame your princess.”

The Kamaitachi’s claws fire out of its paws, “You lie—- YOU LIE!” It leaps towards Akuji, twirling around like a twister wind surrounds it.

Akuji stands still watching it approach, he aims his palm at it.

“I’LL DICE YOU!” The Kamaitachi shouts, violet flames erupt from Akuji’s palms aiming directly for it.

“Return to nothing—-” Akuji mutters turning his back grabbing Clyde’s chains.

As the flames approach the Kamaitachi’s eyes widen in fear, its life starts to flash before its eyes.

A flashback of him standing in a crowd watching the Princess being carried by other Kamaitachi.

Her pink feathers on her head, and wrist, the navy blue fur, her deep golden eyes. An appearance of true royalty.

The flames engulf the Kamaitachi, its body starts to turn to ash, its skin peeling off from the severing pain, but it doesn’t scream.

Princess Nui—- The only name he can think of in his last “Hokoru!” A memory of someone calling out his name one last time.

Hokoru’s body blasts back falling into the pond, its melted corpse floating on the surface.

Akuji summons his notebook once more gripping onto it.

It opens on its own once more flipping to a blank page.

“La Ciudadela del Gran Abajo!” Akuji shouts into the notebook.

Purple mist starts to surround the two, Clyde feels like he’s being pulled, being ripped apart as he’s being transported.

“MMMMM!” He screams from under the chains.

Instantly they appear in front of a giant brown pyramid, one made of pure copper surrounded by a forest of trees with deep green leaves. In front of it two women with copper like skin, stand in front of him, their hair long, wavy and white, their eyes pure black with yellow pupils.

Their bodies are curvy and toned, they wear bikinis, and garments of cloth attached to their waist, black markings stretch across their skin like tattoos.

“Se?or La Muerte!” One of the women says quickly grabbing the other woman forcing her to bow.

“Oi, I have someone here for you guys.” He tosses Clyde to their feet.

“Make sure you deliver him to Mercado del Tormento. I’ll give you your pay later.”

“Se?or—- uhm can you please come up with us—-” One of the women asks.

“Hm?—- what for? Just take the mortal and deliver him.”

  “Por favor—-” the woman mutters.

“—-Fine but you guys carry the kid, I’m not touching him like that.”

The woman on the right helps Clyde to his feet, as the other one runs to Akuji leaning on him.

“Must you touch me?” Akuji mutters.

“Eek!” The woman shrieks “No, no I just thought—- you need someone to escort you!”

Akuji scoffs “Do you believe I’m incompetent? I can just transport up to the top.”

“Lo lamento.. Se?or.” The woman whispers.

Clyde struggles in the chains. “MmmmmM!”

What a dick! And I thought I was rude sometimes but this guy is a new level!

Akuji points at Clyde firing a small blast, breaking the chain around his mouth.

“Eegh!” Clyde groans spitting the taste of metal sitting on his tongue.

“Can you explain what’s going on here?! First I want to know can I get some clothes? Second who are these women!”

He turns to one of them, staring at her up and down, he starts to blush a bit “Ugh! This ain’t the time!”

“These are your escorts to hell, I told you, you were still going didn’t I?”

“That angel who tried to intervene didn’t save you as you thought.”

Clyde’s eyes widen “Wait, so where am I right now?! Everything that happened?!”

Akuji rubs the back of his head “This is the Spirit World—- you aren’t even supposed to be walking these grounds.”

“In fact no mortal soul is, if anyone finds out I’d get in serious trouble, and personally I don’t feel like dealing with those bastards right now.”

He sighs bringing his arm down staring into his palm “I still need a little more time before I slaughter them all freeing her and I—-”

Clyde and the women look at Akuji confused “Se?or La Muerte you’re talking to yourself.” The woman holding Clyde says.

“Hm?” Akuji hums regaining focus “I got sidetracked there, alright let’s go.”

The woman next to Akuji spreads her arms opening a portal revealing the top platform.

Akuji walks ahead of her smiling “Gracias.” He says lowly caressing her chin walking past her.

The woman blushes “Oh! Ummm..” she looks down twiddling her thumbs.

Clyde watches in awe “Really?! That’s all he had to do to get a woman!?”

The other woman pushes Clyde forward, “Hey! Chill out I’m walking alright!”

He walks in the portal to the top platform, the view of the trees are closer, vines hang from the roof touching the edge of the platform.

He looks around seeing other Spirits with the same copper skin as the women, each one different from the last, tall, short, fat, skinny, muscular, all wearing the same white garments.

The Spirits stare at Clyde and Akuji. “So what am I needed for exactly?” Akuji asks.

“Sr. Muerte!” A man’s voice calls out from the crowd, the Spirits move out the way for a small man with a cane, his belly is round and sticking out, it jiggles as he walks.

“Ahhh Jefe, you wanted me here?” Akuji says.

“Si—- but it’s not for what you think—-” The Jefe says.

“Huh? What do you mean?” Akuji asks raising his eyebrow.

“Muerte you see Hell is kinda, how do I put this, in a bad spot…”

“The soul market has crashed down there, so profits are coming in slowly.”

“WHAT?!” Akuji shouts “NOW HOW IN THE STARS’ NAME IS HELL IN A BAD SPOT?! IT’S ALREADY BAD!”

“HOW MUCH PROFIT DID WE LOSE!?”

Jefe scratches his head “A few thousand hellcoins.”

Akuji’s eyes burst wide “A—- A few thousand—-”

“No—- WHAT’S GOING ON DOWN THERE?!”

“I believe the First Circle and Eighth are at civil war. So the market is in shambles right now.”

Akuji pinches the bridge of his nose, “Great—- just great—-”

“Just someone take this guy to Mercado del Tormento! We’ll continue to discuss this later.”

He turns to the crowd pointing at two random Spirits “You two vamos!”

Two muscular ones, their hair both white one is short and the other has a ponytail with a scar over his lip.

The two jolt, “Uhmmm.” they hum looking at each other.

“I said VAMOS!” Akuji screams, the two rush forward bowing “Sí, SE?OR!”

He turns to La Jefe. “Jefe how competent are these Orcs?”

La Jefe strokes his beard “Competent huh? Let’s see what are their names again?”

“Oh yes, Ohtli and Itzpapalotl, I’d say they’re pretty good not the best.”

Akuji shrugs “Good enough.” He turns to the pair, and points at the woman standing by Clyde.

“Give him to them.” He commands.

“Sí…” The woman responds pushing Clyde forward.

“Can you stop doing that! For the last time! Wait until I’m out of these chains I’ll stomp you!” Clyde rages.

Ohtli grabs the chains from the woman, as she walks back to the crowd.

Akuji claps “?Arriba, arriba! Come on! Get going!”

Itzpapalotl spreads his arms opening a red portal.

Clyde starts to shake “Okay—- no, no! Guys can we talk about this! I don’t want to go to Hell! I don’t want to be tortured for the rest of my existence!”

“No can do kid it’s not personal it’s my job.” Akuji says waving.

“You know, I’ve been quite rude to you—- so take this apology as a final gift of words.”

“FUCK YOU! FUCK YOUUUU!” Clyde screams as he gets dragged in the portal, he watches Akuji continue to smirk waving.

“I’LL GET REVENGE I SWEAR! I’LL COME BACK FOR YOU!”

Akuji chuckles “Right, a some random kid thinks he’ll escape hell and take down the ‘Big Bad Reaper who ruined his life’.”

“You did this to yourself, face your consequences. Adios!”

“AHHHUG!” Clyde roars mixing with the sounds of weeps.

The portal closes as Clyde and the Orcs disappear in the red light.

Akuji huffs “Finally—- back to my break—-”

La Jefe nudges him with his cane “So about the profits first.”

Akuji sighs sharply “Right, about that.”

Now that Clyde is officially in his final destination, Akuji and La Jefe can discuss about the condition of hell.

Clyde on the other hand is now a part of that very system they profit off of. Once a boy with soaring dreams, now trapped in the pits of the abyss.
