Turn 2
Katsuro snatches the die and rolls it on the board. He got a 5, so he put the yellow piece on Tile 43.
Ran grabs the die and rolls a 2, so she put the violet piece on Tile 8, where there were dders leading up to Tile 30, so it nded there.
Madoka rolls the die and got a 6, so he pced the orange piece on Tile 20.
Yuka rolls the die and got a 1, so she pced the white piece on Tile 15.
Masaru rolls the die and got a 5, so he pced the red piece on Tile 10.
Rin got a 2, so she pced the indigo piece on Tile 7.
Takashi got a 4, so he pced the violet piece on Tile 18.
Mari got a 3, so she pced the blue piece on Tile 9.
Finally, it was my turn again. I roll the dice on the board and I got… a 1, so I pced the bck piece on 3.
I chuckle.
Haha… very funny.
Final Standings: Katsuro - 43, Ran - 30, Madoka - 20, Takashi - 18, Yuka - 15, Masaru - 10, Mari - 9, Rin - 7, Me - 3.
Clearly, Author doesn’t know how to write a proper story because who would write the results of a board game that only goes up and down? The audience will go away! Which would be beneficial to me, although, this game is boring, so whatever. Either way, I’ll do the honor of reying what were the events of what happened down below:
Legend:
~ - Snakes
= - Ladders
→ - Normal Movement
Results:
Katsuro, 43 → 49 → 55 → 61 ~ 18 → 22 → 27 = 76 → 77 → 78
Ran, 30 ~ 10 → 13 → 14 → 18 → 20 → 24 → 25 → 31 ~ 6
Madoka, 20 → 25 → 31 → 35 → 38 → 42 → 44 ~ 26 ~ 10
Yuka, 15 → 16 → 19 → 23 → 25 → 29 → 33 → 37 → 39 → 43
Masaru, 10 → 15 → 19 → 23 → 26 ~ 10 → 15 → 18 = 42 → 46
Rin, 9 → 15 → 17 → 23 → 24 = 76 → 82 → 86 ~ 24 = 76
Takashi, 18 → 20 = 42 → 47 ~ 26 ~ 10 → 12 → 13 → 16 → 17
Mari, 7 → 11 → 17 → 22 → 27 → 29 → 33 → 34 → 37 → 42
Me, 3 → 5 → 6 = 30 → 35 → 41 → 47 = 67 → 73 → 79 → 85

Turn 11
How… how was I put into this position? Just earlier, I was like a snail, but I rushed to the top immediately. Is luck finally on my side?
For the first time since we pyed, I felt confident in this competition.
Katsuro was about to take the die from me, but I decide to take it with me.
“What’s up man? It’s my turn,” he says.
“No! Can I have this turn?” I question.
“Absolutely not, you’re breaking the rules!” Mari interferes.
She tries to steal it from me, but she was too short to reach it. She was insistent, but I decided to throw the die on the board.
“HIYAH!”
I had my fingers crossed. The die rolls a 3. I then look back at the board and since I was on Tile 85. I would be on…
I gulp. There were snakes on Tile 88 leading all the way down to 24. Fearing for my life, I slowly turn to them.
“U-Uh… on second thought, it doesn’t count after all because it wasn’t my tur-”
“Oh, that’s definitely staying in,” Mari interrupts.
“B-But it wasn’t my t-tur-”
“Well, you insisted on it,” Ran excims, “we’re keeping that in.”
I slouch and creep away from the board. Feeling extremely gloomy, I sit in the corner.
I don’t wanna py anymore…
Katsuro rolls the dice and he got 2, so he pced his piece on 80 which had dders leading up to 99.
“YESSS! WE WON!” Katsuro cheers.
I don’t care anymore…
Results by the end of Turn 12: Katsuro - 100, Rin - 79, Masaru and Yuka - 49, Mari - 45, Me - 25, Takashi - 23, Madoka - 14, Ran – 11
…
..
.
We keep the board and its contents.
“All we need left is to calcute the average,” Masaru says to the rest.
So, 100 + 49 + 25 + 23 + 14, that would be 211. Divide that by 5 and we have 42.2.
“We have 42.2,” I announce the results of ours.
“We have 46,” Rin replied.
Silence among us, the boys form. We were all gloomy, while the girls all cheer and cp their hands, much like st time.
We have been betrayed by the power of chance. All of that boring nonsense and we didn’t even win. Worst of all, I wasn’t even able to gain any intel regarding the girls.
“YAAYYY!!!” the girls all yell in unison.
Is this… is this the feeling of experiencing a filler event?
I grit my teeth.
“CURSES!” I yell.
It was inevitable. Fillers were bound to cross my path… I will never ever choose a luck-based event for another challenge.
The girls cheer with Rin as the lead.
“If you’re moe and you know it, cp your hands!”
Cp. Cp.
They cpp after her.
What is this awful iteration of a perfectly good nursery song? This is cringe. No… I cannot let it end like this. This route has to be fruitful.
Cp. Cp.
What should I do? What can I do? Think. Think. Think.
I frantically scour everywhere and hear chattering from right outside the door. I take a closer look and saw that Tamaki Kazuhiko and Emiko Morine happened to be present there.
What are they doing here at this hour?
Then my eyes widen. An idea came upon me.
Why haven’t I thought of this? There are boys and girls, so what natural phenomena is bound to happen between the two genders? That’s right… romance.
I clear my throat and all the attention was brought to me. I stand up with dignity.
“Problem?” Mari questions.
“I know we lost and all, but surely even us boys have to win at least once.”
“You know there is a chance that you boys lose all challenges, right?”
“Point is, we’ll be doing this for a long time. So my suggestion here would be only natural.”
“What suggestion?”
“Can I ask you all for your contact numbers?”
I will make romance happen between one of the boys and girls and that will spawn a traitor in the girls’ side giving us a rge advantage.
“Are you trying to ask us out? If you are this is a sick attempt-”
Ran stops her, “Good point, we may never know when we have to postpone a challenge because one member or another is sick.”
“But Tanimoto-san!” Mari compins.
“What he’s asking for is totally fine, you know? Unless you want us to speak to each other by walkie-talkies?” she questions.
Mari shut her mouth, but remained uneasy.
“How about telepathy?” Takashi asks.
NOW IS NOT THE TIME, TAKASHI.
Note: Oh ho? Even when I try to deter his progress, he finds a way to progress through my filler event? This man has suffered a lot of those types, hasn’t he?
