Announcement: changes.

Hello! I am so glad yall have been with me reading this so far. To start this is not news that I am going to cancel the story or that I'm taking a break or whatever.

This is an announcement that I'm going to be restarting the story with some big changes. This desicion came from a myriad of reasons which I will explain. First however is the explanation for the explanation.

The reason I am explaining what I'm doing and why rather just doing it is because I feel reader's have certain rights. One of those rights is the right to understand what is going on with a story they enjoy.

It would show that I don't care for the time yall all took to read if I just went ahead and made changes to the story without explaining why.

  Now onto the explanation.

1st is that I'm really struggling with the third person perspective. I had no idea how much harder it would be to write in a third person perspective. I don't know if that's my autism or just me being bad at third person perspectives. It could also be a combination of both.

One change I'll be making as a result of this realization is to write the story in first person.

2nd is that the school setting really isn't doing it for me. I'm not sure how to explain all the reasons, but I can explain the ones that I can at least. Numero Uno is that I. As a result of my autism struggle with names. A school based super hero setting akin to sky high.... Involves having to write a bunch of characters who all have to be relevant even if their only "on screen" for a few chapters.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

The 2nd is that it all felt to whimsical. I want some comedy and will attempt to do so but I didn't want the story to be a comedy, if that makes any since.

The change I'm going to be making is that the story will now be a more grounded tale of an autistic college student named Hanna trying to juggle being a robbin hood super hero and college.

My 3rd change and reason is that I really and honestly surprised myself with how much I hate the system.... when I was working on the concept of the system I wanted stats to mean something instead of just being neboulues numbers. Unfortunately, they just became that anyways.

I do love the create your own power system. I do like the concept of their being no one who can copy powers or have the same power of someone else. A sorta of right to your own ability that only goes away if you die or give it to someone else. It also made the idea I made behind mutants just sorta not work.

The change I'll be making in regards to that is to change the story to a more cultivation esque series. People will still create their own powers. They will still own those powers. They will still be able to add or change aspects of their powers.

The difference is that they will do so with limit of "universal energy" and how much someone has. With Hanna simply being more intune with the energy due to her disability rather then the massively unfair and upon review very infantilizing buff the system would have given her.

I will be editing the story blurb and name to reflect these changes. I ask that you please not abadon this story but I fully understand if you make that descion and hope your next story you read is an enjoyable one.

I will be keeping the year 1 chapters so people can see the original vision I had for the story and also as I way to acknowledge my past and not hide it behind deleted chapters.

I am already at work for the new chapter 1 which will have the title "Ark 1 Beginnings: chapter 1"
