ADUT Fold 01: A New Way to Think About Gravity

  What if gravity isn’t a force… but a fold?

For a long time, physicists have been split into two major camps, each trying to explain what the universe is really made of.

One side believes everything is made of tiny, vibrating strings — like minuscule guitar strings humming with tension, creating particles and forces based on how they vibrate. That’s String Theory.

The other side says space itself is granular — woven from tiny loops. Not smooth, but knotted. A kind of pixelated geometry that forms the very shape of reality. That’s Loop Quantum Gravity.

It sounds like a contradiction. But what if it’s not?

Enter ADUT: The Aval-On Density Unification Theory

In ADUT, we propose something different:

A loop is just a string that’s folded far enough to meet itself.

Imagine a strip of paper. Stretch it out like a string — one-dimensional, flat. Now bend it into a loop.

That’s what we call a recursive closure — the moment a string folds in on itself and becomes something more.

And when that loop becomes fundamental — indivisible, dense, resonant — we call it an Aval-on.

This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.

It’s not just theoretical. It’s the unit of folded space in our model — the quanta of spacetime itself.

  The Fold as a Transition

  Why are Aval-ons stable?

Because folding creates tension — and when that tension distributes evenly, it becomes density. Not random. Not chaotic. But elegant.

The geometry stabilizes when the ratio between folds approaches the golden ratio, defined as:

This is the Golden Fold — the point where recursive energy balances with structural symmetry.

  From Fold to Field

So what happens if you keep folding?

Increase the recursion. Push the tension inward.

  Eventually:

  The loop bends further.

  The tension spikes.

  The structure collapses inward.

  But this isn’t destruction —

  It’s a phase shift.

The point where time ignites, mass condenses, and gravity reveals itself —

Not as a force… but as the visible curve caused by recursive density.

  In Summary

This is the heart of ADUT:

Strings and loops are two sides of the same recursive fold.

Energy comes from tension, distributed across recursion.

Mass is the product of a fold collapsing inward.

  And gravity?

Gravity is not a force — it’s the curve of folded density made visible.

  ADUT isn’t a rejection of physics —

  It’s a new lens.

  A conceptual framework grounded in:

  Geometry

  Recursion

  Golden ratio dynamics

  Loop tension

  Emergence

We’re building from the fold up — across disciplines.
