Chapter 11: First Encounter with the Spirit Language Agreement

The morning light slowly fell from the southeast, passing through the broken skylight, pouring a ray of gentle light into this ancient armory that was eroded by time but still full of majesty. Aaron stood quietly in front of the entrance. The floor tiles under his feet had been engraved and recast with runes countless times, and had long since lost their original appearance, with a faint glow. In his hand, he held the strange object called the "Root Disc", on which seven ring runes were nested, and the "Transformation Rune" in the center was beating slightly, like a heartbeat, like breathing.

This was the beginning of the "Spirit Language Agreement".

"Welcome, walker of words." A steady voice came from the podium on the dome.

Aaron looked up and saw the old man who called himself "Mirror Singer" wearing a gray robe with flowing feather patterns, and behind him were two prose mentors wearing woven veils. Three pages of broken parchment badges were hung on their chests, symbolizing the fragments and inheritance of the lost language system.

Aaron stepped into the hall, and the lines under his feet began to light up automatically, as if responding to his breath and soul.

"You hold the root disc, which means you have completed the initial sacrifice. Next, it is time for you to learn the 'first weaving'."

Jing Chang slowly raised the crystal command staff in his hand and tapped the imaginary text column in the air. Those characters broke free from the arrangement like living things, circling into the air, and finally gathered into a complex rune - "Name·First Chapter".

"The spirit language protocol is different from ordinary runes. It does not rely on material media, but is directly engraved in the soul." Jing Chang explained, "What you have to learn is not memory, but weaving."

Aaron closed his eyes and sank into the torrent of characters that rushed like a tide.

At that moment, he seemed to hear the whispers of all languages ??returning to one, with the murmurs of ancient dragons, the lamentations of gods, and the low chants of human scholars. The origin of all languages ????converged into a trembling spiritual resonance.

"Weave your first spiritual language," Jing Chang whispered, "Choose a 'name' and give it to yourself."

A line of gray-silver ancient text appeared on the disc in Aaron's hand: "You are-?"

He took a deep breath, concentrated his will, and silently recited:

  > "My name is Aaron Brecht. A person whose destiny is not yet determined, a person who walks outside the cycle of reincarnation."

In an instant, all the glorious runes suddenly froze, and a burning sensation penetrated his forehead, leaving a mark in his sea of ??consciousness.

He opened his eyes, and a silver-blue rune line flashed in his pupils, indicating that he had completed the first name of the spiritual language.

"Very good." Jing Chang nodded, "This is the starting point of your spiritual language identity. From now on, all relics, artifacts, and demonic domains connected to the spiritual language agreement will recognize you as a named person, the 'speaker'."

But what followed was not cheering, but a numbing vibration.

——The entire rune hall was shaking.

A low roar from the underground came from all directions, and broken characters that did not belong to this place appeared in the air. That was...

"Forbidden Talisman Chain?" Jing Chang raised his eyebrows and looked at the sacrificial stele tower on the north side.

The base of the stele tower was cracked, and a hand covered with red and black talismans slowly stretched out from a gap.

"Damn it, it's the residual spirit of the Forgotten Language System!"

Jing Chang suddenly jumped off the podium, waved his staff and stood up, and the twelve high-level spiritual language protection barriers were instantly activated.

But it was too late, the hand had thrown a gray-white ancient coin out and headed straight for Aaron!

"Get out of the way!" Jing Chang shouted angrily.

  Aaron did not move.

His pupils shook violently, but he still gritted his teeth and did not take a step back.

"I can feel it calling me..." he whispered, and the ancient coin floated in front of him, then slowly rotated, and three alien symbols appeared on the surface: "Oathbreaker".

Mirror Chang's face suddenly changed, "This ancient coin... is the legendary 'Oath of Life'! Aaron, you must not--"

However, the ancient coin has merged into Aaron's chest.

Blazing white light burst out from his chest and pierced the dome.

In the brilliance, he heard the familiar voice again:

  > "Choose the next trajectory of your destiny, Aaron Brecht. You are going to become--"

Three images of bifurcated destinies appeared from the void.

——One was wearing a flame armor and holding a thunder hammer in both hands.

——One was hiding in the shadow of the abyss, holding a sin iron chain.

——One was wearing a priest's robe and controlled the spirit language and soul.

"Fate choice." Mirror Chang looked at Aaron with a complicated expression.

"You are the first person to trigger the 'Death Oath Projection' without completing basic training. You must be careful."

Aaron gritted his teeth and sweated profusely. He understood that this was the true test of the Origin Disc.

And the door of destiny has just opened.
