Steve's POV:
Ever since I was a kid, I'd been infatuated with Herobrine, even though I knew the likelihood of his existence was slim to none at best. Now, as a college student, I'm more obsessed with the concept/lore of Herobrine than anything else. The reason I am obsessed with the lore is because most of it is tragic and relatable....where Herobrine used to be a normal person, but was betrayed or lost someone dear to him, which made his switch flip. I was sent to the orphanage when I was 7, due to being taken from my extremely abusive parents. It didn't stop there, I was bullied through high school into college. Now, as I walk from my dorm to another miserable day of college classes, the world suddenly turns a blinding white as a searing pain rips through my entire body. The next instant, I blacked out, only to wake up lying in a seemingly endless black void.
"Uugh...what the fuck just happened?" I groan as I slowly sit up, my head in my hands and my entire body aching, as well as having a massive headache. As I sit there, trying to get my bearings, a bright golden light shines in front of me, as a golden door appears in the void. The door flies open, and a lady runs in from the door, which closes behind her. As she ran closer, my ears finally stopped ringing, and I started to hear the lady's voice.
"No, no no no no! Are you okay!?!?" She cries as she reaches me and kneels next to me.
"Not really," I say, before wincing as my head reminds me of its presence. But I manage to mutter a couple of questions. "What happened? And who are you?"
"I am sooo sorry!! I'm Sylunara, 180th goddess of reincarnation." She explains hurriedly. "There was an accident at the hub of multiverses, and the backlash vaporised you. Thankfully, you are the only known casualty."
"So...I'm dead?" I ask, still very discombobulated, but thankfully, the pain is going away. That might have to do with Sylunara's hand glowing green, magic?
"I hate to say it, but yes, and I am so sorry!"
Now that the pain is subsiding, I finally get a better look at Sylunara. She looks like a twenty-year-old lady with green hair and green eyes. She has an ethereal white gown that flows gracefully around her, symbolizing purity and the cyclical nature of life. The dress is delicately detailed with soft, leaf-like embroidery and is cinched at the waist with a shimmering golden sash that glows faintly, hinting at divine energy. Her shoulders are draped with translucent fabric that mimics mist or morning dew, and small green vine motifs curl around the hem of her gown.
"So..if I'm dead...what now?" I ask in a bored tone, some bewilderment still evident.
"Well, you have been permitted to be reincarnated in another world. And into the body or character of your choosing." She says after stopping whatever she was doing to ease my pain. "You seem to be taking this surprisingly well....are you sure you're okay?"
I let out a small chuckle, "Yeah, I'm fine. It's not like I liked my life....hell I was even thinking about ending it...."

Her face turned from slightly worried to a somewhat horrified look. I stare down for a moment as I think back on my miserable life, then the reality of what she said slaps me across the face. "Wait...reincarnated?!?!"
Sylunara nods with a smile. "Yes, I have been tasked to reincarnate you into a world of your dreams, as well as give you powers or things that you wish, as long as they aren't too over the top or something."
My mind races as I think of the possibilities, but there is only one thing that would make my next life truly enjoyable. My mind made up, I look Sylunara in the face and say, "I want to be reincarnated as Herobrine!"
Sylunara thinks for a moment, then smiles and nods her head, "I think that could work! Though let's figure out the details, such as your powers and such."
I nod in agreement, a smile forming on my face, the first one that I can remember since my parents were arrested....is that good?
After what felt like half an hour of discussion, we had ironed out the details of my powers/abilities. Since I am reincarnating as Herobrine, I requested that my name be changed to Herobrine, but to retain my memories. The next thing I asked for was to have access to and be ruler of the Nether and the End, and the mobs that are in those realms. The only stipulation Sylunara gave was that I couldn't start with a fully functioning Kingdom; I would have to build and manage and progress to get to that point, which was fair. She also said she would be adding some surprises to the Nether and the End, so I am looking forward to seeing what she added. The third thing I asked for was to have Null and Entity 303 as my first immediate subordinates. She agreed and said she would give them enough knowledge and such to be my advisors.
The fourth thing I asked for was my abilities, which came down to as follows:
(1) Complete understanding of the magic that would be in the world I was going to.
(2) The ability to summon any Minecraft mob (Including villagers, pillagers, and witches) and be able to control an near infinite amount at one time.
(3) A near infinite amount of mana, as well as a lot of resistance to magic.
(4) The ability to wield all magic types extremely well, but to be unequaled in lightning magic.
(5) To have very strong telekinetic powers.
(6) To have telepathy be a form of communication for me and my subordinates.
(7) To be able to understand any spoken language, and for all my subordinates to have it as well.
(8) The ability to communicate with all Minecraft mobs, and for all my subordinates to also have it.
(9) To have a base of operations in a safe location in the "Overworld" that is decently far from any other civilization.
(10) To have insanely increased physical abilities as well as insane mental capabilities.
The last thing I asked for was to have a body that looked similar to the Minecraft Steve, but when I wanted it, my eyes would become all white and shine brightly. Surprisingly, Sylunara didn't change much, and agreed to it all, but did say to expect some small changes and/or surprises. She also said that if I went all crazy and destroyed a bunch of stuff, my second life would end as suddenly as it started, which made sense, and I wasn't planning on it anyway. Now with that out of the way, it was time to start my new life.
"Before I reincarnate you, I will ask this one last time, is there anything else you want?" Sylunara asks as magic circles begin to form around me.
"No, I'm good," I replied, standing with a satisfied smile. "Thank you."
"For what?" She asks, puzzled.
"For giving me a second life."
"It's the least I could do." She answers with a surprisingly loving smile and a slight chuckle. "It is my job as a goddess of reincarnation after all." And with a flick of her wrists, a bright white light flashes, and I feel my body dissolving as I am reincarnated into a new body, in a new world. This is gonna be fun.
