Shei’s scream split the air, raw with fury.
“Crystal Flesh: Obsidian Exoskin!” she chanted, smming her palms together.
A surge of bck diamond spread across her limbs, skin crystallizing into shimmering obsidian armor. Her eyes glowed a virulent violet as she raised her staff high.
“Velgorith's Thornstorm!”
Dozens of gleaming spectral bdes spiraled into the sky, then rained down in a screeching maelstrom toward Seraphina and Minna.
Seraphina didn’t flinch. Her voice rang clear, noble and sharp like a bell.
“Terra Ward: Stalwart Canopy!”
Massive stone ptes burst from the ground and yered above them like a great shield. Each bde struck with explosive force, but the barrier held, trembling under the onsught.
Minna stepped forward, wind swirling around her feet.
“Aquarael: Lunar Bloom!”
A burst of silvery water spiraled upward, weaving into a lotus-shaped shield that absorbed the remaining shards, melting them into harmless mist.
From the side, a blur of fury exploded forward—Fenric.
The werewolf’s body shimmered with heat, cws coated in roaring fme magic as he vanished in a fsh of speed.
His growl echoed.
“You die first, boy.”
He was almost upon Kagami.
But another blur intercepted him.
“Aegis Surge: Iron Starfall!”
Elias’s shield crashed down between them, mana fring as Fenric’s fming cw struck.
Crack.
Blood erupted.
Time stood still.
Blood dripped from Elias’s chest, his body crumpled in a protective stance before Kagami. Fenric’s cw, glistening with crimson, withdrew with a sickening sound. The world blurred for a moment—until Kagami’s scream tore through the battlefield.
“No… Elias!”
Power surged.
The corrupted leyline beneath the ruins pulsed as if answering him. Chakra flooded his limbs. Mana roared through his core. And his eyes—those long-dormant crimson orbs—snapped open.
SHARINGAN
Three tomoe spun wildly within each iris as Kagami’s aura shifted. The fusion of mana and chakra danced around him, no longer two forces but one.
Fenric lunged again—blindingly fast—but this time, Kagami moved.
He matched the beast’s speed effortlessly, sidestepping Fenric’s attack like wind brushing past a leaf.
“Inferno Style: Enjin no Jutsu!” Kagami roared, smming his palms together.
A ring of searing fmes ignited beneath Fenric’s feet, erupting skyward in a dome of crimson fire. The corrupted werewolf howled in agony, fur singed, cws filing wildly.
“Bastard!” Shei shrieked, her corrupted mana fring. She leapt into the fray, conjuring dozens of spectral bdes.
But Kagami’s eyes glinted.
“Magen: Kasegui no Jutsu.”
The illusion hit her before she realized.
To Shei, Kagami multiplied into hundreds. Chains of iron burst from the earth, skewering her limbs, her body frozen in a prison of phantom pain.
Outside the illusion, her body stumbled—eyes wide, limbs trembling.
“Seraphina!” Kagami commanded, never taking his eyes off his enemies. “Bind them—now!”
Seraphina blinked out of her trance, stunned by the hypnotic power of Kagami’s Sharingan, then snapped into action. Magic glyphs spun around her palms.
“Terra Ward: Earthen Fortress!”
Thick stone pilrs surged from the ground, wrapping around the fallen Fenric and Shei. Seraphina whispered another spell, locking their bodies with reinforced bindings of mana.
Minna hovered near Elias, unsure of what to do.
Kagami turned to her, the red glow of his eyes dimming slightly. “Minna. Heal him. Use your Aqua Veil.”
Minna snapped to attention, tears threatening to spill. She knelt beside Elias and pressed her hands over the wound.
“Aqua Veil: Siren’s Embrace!”
A soft blue glow wrapped around Elias’s chest, slowing the bleeding and sealing the worst of the wound. Kagami exhaled.
His hands trembled.
He wasn’t just a boy anymore. Not just a student, or a shinobi reborn.
He was a force now—a warrior reborn in a world of magic and mana.
And as the corrupted leylines quieted beneath the ruin, so too did the battlefield.
But all of them knew—it wasn’t the end.
It was the beginning of something much, much greater.
