Many smaller deities probably aren’t even as big as one of Oliver’s scales. In front of him, they’re like ants. Yet this enormous deity, coiled in the void, gently opens his jaws, his snake belly rhythmically rising and falling. Insights and interpretations of primal runes flow from him, chanted and broadcast, echoing through the chaos, reaching an astonishing Billions of kilometers!
The weaker deities, the moment they arrive, are instantly struck and baptized by the sound of these primal runes. They deeply feel Oliver’s power! It’s like a mortal gazing at a divine, impossibly massive mountain range!
But what catches Oliver off guard is that, besides the deities flocking to hear his rune chants, some familiar yet hostile figures soon show up. A massive giant made of water elements, another of storm elements, and one of lightning elements—they’re barreling toward this area together!
Oliver immediately checks their stat panels. The water elemental giant is Aegir, who Oliver clashed with not long ago. He’s level 17, no big change from before. Then there’s Kári, the storm elemental giant, level 18, and Thrumir, the lightning elemental giant, level 17.
The lightning giant’s panel is about the same as Aegir’s—not a big deal for Oliver, now level 16. But this level 18 storm giant’s panel? That’s something Oliver has to take seriously.

His stats are, on average, about 70,000 to 80,000 higher than Oliver’s. Plus, as a level 18 giant with giant blood, he’s absolutely a tough opponent for Oliver! Killing him, even for the current Oliver, would be a serious challenge.
These guys’ souls are locked on Oliver, radiating intense killing intent! “I haven’t gathered many believers or students yet, but my enemies are the first to show up,” Oliver says with a slight smile, not exactly shocked by the situation.
To recruit followers, he kicked off this so-called Rune Recitation Conference, which straight-up exposed his location. Why would anyone out to kill him pass up this golden opportunity?
Truth is, Aegir was originally planning to wait till Oliver drew a bigger crowd of regular deities before hunting him. But the other two giants figured striking early was smarter—they’d noticed this giant snake’s growing way too fast. Just a while back, he was level 15. Now he’s seemingly leveled up again, his body ballooning to nearly 6.5 million kilometers. That’s a scary number.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
And it’s only been a few centuries. They decided they had to act fast and take this snake out.
So now, three powerhouse giants have teamed up to come for Oliver. Each of them rules a major nearby Basin, their influence spanning millions, even tens of millions of light-years!
“Perfect timing. To build my faction, my rep’s not big enough yet. Let’s kill three more giants to boost my name!” Oliver thinks, his massive body uncoiling. He rises into the air, charging straight at the three giants.
Boom! When Oliver moves, his huge body stirs a tidal wave of chaos energy, the spectacle jaw-dropping. The deities who came for the Rune Recitation Conference gape at the scene, full of awe.
“This is big snake Stark? What a terrifying body! First time I’ve seen a deity this massive—he’s three to five times bigger than giants of the same level!” some deities exclaim, straight-up floored.
“Giants are here—looks like they’re gunning for trouble with this snake. This’ll be a show!” another says.
“The snake wants to start his own faction—how could the giants let that slide? If he pulls it off, that’s a straight-up challenge to the giant faction!”
“Who do you think’s gonna win?” the deities buzz with chatter.
“Probably the giants. They’ve got too many heavy-hitters. This time, two came rushing from nearby Basins—one level 17, one 18—plus the original water giant Lord Aegir. All three are higher level than the snake. How’s he supposed to win?”
“With giant blood, their combat power’s naturally higher than regular deities. Plus, they’ve got the numbers advantage. How do you even fight that?”
“If it was me, I’d be hopeless—running for my life.”
“Yeah, that’s why you’re not big snake Stark. He’s not running—he’s charging at these giants. Why’s that?”
“What, does this snake actually think he can take them? On what grounds?”
“No way, is he nuts? So weird!” These deities are dumbfounded, totally baffled by Oliver’s move. Why’s this snake, facing such powerful enemies, not bolting?!
Does he really think he can beat three giants stronger than him? That’s absurd!
“This is big snake Stark. If we kill him and eat his chaos energy, our strength’ll skyrocket!” the three giants say among themselves, their eyes glinting with greed. “With all the primal runes he’s mastered, that’s no small feat. This guy’s gotta have some crazy gear—maybe S-tier, even SS-tier!”
The chaos world might seem to have some order now, but that order’s run by giants. At its core, it’s still a jungle—survival of the fittest! These giants have locked onto Oliver, seeing him as prey and a feast.
“Giant snake Stark, weren’t you reciting primal runes? Why’d you stop and come flying at us?” Lightning giant Thrumir flashes Oliver a cold, taunting grin, picking a fight.
“What, you guys here to hear my rune recitation?” Oliver laughs, asking straight-up. His voice echoes through the chaos, spreading in every direction.
“Of course, we’re all here to hear your rune recitation. Big fans of yours,” giant Aegir says, dripping with sarcasm.
“Alright, then listen up.” Oliver smirks and, for real, starts reciting primal runes again.
He’s not worried these giants could pick up primal runes quick. Stuff this deep takes regular deities thousands of years at least—tens of thousands, even, for any progress. Not everyone’s like him, able to learn primal runes fast.
And right now, Oliver’s not rushing to fight and kill these giants ‘cause he needs a bigger audience. Countless deities are still streaming in from all over. These folks will be witnesses to him taking down three giants. When that happens, they’ll spread the news of Oliver slaying the trio across Basin after Basin!
