The wiry and now seemingly tricksy goblin pulled his sword from the rogue's chest, the odd man had fallen for Steal's bluff.
Well...
Admittedly the bluff wasn't intentional, the tiny green-skinned creature had pretty much passed out in terror and blacked out from the pain of having his stomach slashed. It was true that monsters didn't feel pain as badly as the more civilised races, but it still hurt. A LOT.
Luckily Steal had come to as the rogue turned his back to him and knelt down to pick up his dropped gear, he had moved down low enough that the goblin had a clear shot at his chest, and the monster had seen it as a great opportunity. Steal had driven his blade down into the rogue's back and (accidentally) pierced the man's heart.
The little goblin hefted the bloody blade over his shoulder as his mind was blasted with another screen.
The victorious goblin smiled to itself a little, as it's intelligence and wisdom grew it felt like it could perhaps understand the images that popped into its mind in a more detailed manner, the little green creature muttered to itself in its garbled tongue "Gyak!"
Steal scanned through the information that seemed to pop into his mind, then remembered something about a 'Skill' and a 'Trait' being mentioned... Another word seemed to pop into the goblin's mind, and he tried to repeat it in his grating voice "Advak", which was Steal's horrendous attempt at saying the word 'Advanced'.

The small-statured and small-minded creature found this screen to be a bit more complicated, and it came to realise it didn't truly understand what all the abbreviations and skills meant, so it took a moment and looked through its mind; trying to picture the words that it didn't quite understand. Another word popped into the goblin's mind again 'Library'
Once more, the short and pot-bellied little monster tried to copy the phrases that appeared in its mind "Likra". A flood of information poured into the dimwitted creatures mind at once, like a barrage of data. Darkness.
Steal came to after a few seconds, fainted twice in a day, although he didn't understand why he figured that was probably not a good thing. The goblin took a moment to think, this time, the goblin would search its mind for one term at a time, rather than flood its mind with everything at once.
"Likra... Attriiib"
