Nightfall – The Shadows Move
The moon hung high in the sky, its silver glow casting long shadows across the Sun Cn grounds. The night was eerily silent, save for the occasional rustling of leaves in the wind.
Two figures moved swiftly under the cover of darkness, their footsteps silent as ghosts. Yang Fei and Yang Xue, the prodigies of the Yang Cn, had arrived.
Their target was clear.
The small residence before them housed Wang Li and Mei Ling—the two women bound to Xu Wang. And now, they were vulnerable.
Yang Fei’s sharp eyes gleamed in the darkness as he signaled to his brother. “Let’s go.”
Yang Xue nodded, his presence calm, composed, yet unreadable. “Quick and clean.”
Without a word, the two slipped inside.
The room was dim, barely lit by the pale light creeping in through the wooden ttice windows. Wang Li and Mei Ling y asleep on a futon, their breathing slow and steady.
The scent of incense lingered in the air—a calming fragrance. A false sense of peace.
Silently, Yang Fei and Yang Xue advanced, moving like shadows, each step calcuted.
Their mission was simple.
Cim them.

Xu Wang’s Captivity – The Throne Room of the Yang Cn
Pain.
A dull, aching pain pulsed through Xu Wang’s body as he regained consciousness. His head throbbed, his limbs felt heavy.
Something was wrong.
As his vision adjusted, he realized he was bound in chains—thick, metallic bindings that wrapped around his wrists and arms, forcing them apart in opposite directions. His movements were restricted, his Qi stifled, completely unresponsive.
He looked up.
A majestic yet menacing throne loomed before him. Atop it sat a man whose very presence sent a chill down Xu Wang’s spine.
Yang Wei.
The King of the Yang Cn, his Ajna eyes glowing an ominous purple, stared down at him with a mixture of curiosity and power-drunk hunger.
Standing beside the throne was Yang Shen, his stance rigid, as if torn between duty and hesitation.
Two guards, their faces and bodies completely concealed in bck, knelt before the throne, heads bowed in submission.
The room itself was grand—pilrs carved with depictions of ancient warriors, the floor smooth as obsidian. A chilling aura lingered in the air, thick with oppressive energy, suffocating in its intensity.
Yang Wei’s voice was low but commanding.
“So… you finally achieved Advanced Mudhara Qi.”
His glowing eyes burned into Xu Wang.
“Not even the ancestors of my cn have reached that level. And yet, you… you surpassed me.”
There was venom in his tone.
Xu Wang gritted his teeth. “What the hell are you talking about?”
Yang Wei smirked.
“You truly are a unique one. In all my years, I have never seen a man with four cores.”
Xu Wang stiffened.
“That’s impossible. I only have three.”
A flicker of amusement crossed Yang Wei’s face, quickly repced by a dark, insidious hunger.
“Are you certain of that?”
Before Xu Wang could respond, he felt pressure crash down upon him, like an invisible weight crushing his very soul. His breath hitched.
The guards moved, restraining him further, forcing him to his knees as they pressed their weight against him.
Yang Wei lifted a hand. “Back off.”
The guards hesitated but obeyed, stepping away.
Yang Wei’s voice was calm, but dangerous. “Even if you do have four cores, you still cannot break those chains.”
Xu Wang pulled against the bindings, but it was useless.
“These chains are forged from Aura Nullifying Material. Even Demon-Level Qi Masters have fallen to their power. You will not escape.”
Xu Wang clenched his fists, frustration burning in his chest.
Then Yang Wei’s tone darkened.
“Now tell me, Xu Wang… how did you form a contract with the Demon King’s General—Varzath the Abyssborn?”
Xu Wang froze.
“What…?”
Yang Wei’s Ajna eyes pulsed, his aura growing chaotic. The sheer intensity of it made even the guards tremble.
“Do not py dumb with me.” His voice rumbled with restrained fury.
“You expect me to believe that you acquired more than one core without making a sacrifice to a demon?”
Xu Wang’s breath grew heavy. “I don’t know any demon named Varzath!”
The pressure in the room exploded.
The two guards colpsed, their bodies giving out under Yang Wei’s chaotic, overwhelming Qi.
Yang Wei’s hands clenched into fists. “Do you even know how I obtained these eyes of Ajna?”
Xu Wang’s heartbeat quickened as he saw madness flicker in Yang Wei’s gaze.
The king’s voice was eerily calm.
“I killed my wife.”
A suffocating silence filled the throne room.
Xu Wang felt a cold pit form in his stomach.
Yang Wei exhaled, his aura calming just slightly.
Then, Yang Shen stepped forward, voice tense.
“Son, stop. If you release more Qi, he will die.”
Yang Wei turned his gre toward Yang Shen. “Call me King.”
Yang Shen flinched but recovered. “My King, if you kill him now, our pn will fail.”
Xu Wang’s head spun.
Pn?
Yang Wei exhaled sharply, slowly regaining his composure. He stepped back toward his throne, sitting down. His eyes remained locked onto Xu Wang.
“You don’t want to tell me the truth? It doesn’t matter.”
A cruel smirk formed on his lips. “Once I sacrifice you, your power will become mine.”
Xu Wang’s body trembled. He refused to let this happen.
He summoned his Anahata Qi, trying to channel its power—
The chains absorbed it instantly.
He gritted his teeth. Damn it!
Yang Wei leaned forward. “Don’t waste your energy. Your fate is sealed.”
Then—
Yang Wei’s smirk widened.
“Oh… and don’t worry about your two women.” His voice dripped with mockery. “My sons will take good care of them.”
Xu Wang’s blood ran cold.
“What did you say?”
Yang Wei chuckled. “Right now, they are already making them theirs.”
Xu Wang’s eyes burned with fury.
“DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT TOUCHING THEM!”
With everything he had, he summoned his Anahata Qi again, his very soul roaring in defiance—
The chains held firm.
He screamed in frustration.
The guards rushed forward, smming him back to the ground, forcing his movements still.
Yang Shen exhaled, looking at his father. “My King… it is time.”
Yang Wei smirked.
“Pick him up. Follow me.”
The guards lifted Xu Wang’s restrained body, dragging him forward.
The door to the throne room opened—revealing a long, dark corridor leading into the depths of the Yang Cn’s inner sanctum.

Elsewhere – The Moment of Betrayal
Wang Li and Mei Ling y still, fast asleep.
The air was cold. Too cold.
A shadow loomed over them.
Yang Fei and Yang Xue stood above them.
Without hesitation—they pulled the bnket away.
The two women were now completely defenseless.
