"So, you see, girls...if the man is not on the pillar, just ignore him. No point wasting time with a loser that can't even kill a single Demon." Mei instructed the newer Tower members, who all nodded at Mei's profound wisdom.
Miss Lin glanced towards Elder Song, who was still not yet able to write his name on the stone pillar, and frowned. To think that even the respected Outer Elder of the Tower was so weak that he didn't even kill a single Demon?
She instead read the other names, Chen Feng, Romulus and Remus and of course the Tower's Master, high above the rest with over 2000 kills. How could there be such a crazy distance, if they were all Saints? Even herself had a Saint body now, by the grace of a wonderful pill created by the Young Master.
As for the top name, Amelia Silvermane...nobody wanted to talk about her. It was like a veil of fear and secrecy surrounded the silver-haired Saint, and her amazing 9497 kills.
Miss Lin decided to speak with the woman, and find out more. She found Amelia sitting by herself on a floating platform, playing with a silver needle, and spinning it over and over around her fingers.
"Lady Amelia...I am Lin." she began in a hesitant voice.
A pair of gray eyes locked on to Lin, akin to a deadly predator observing a tasty prey.
"From the auction. I remember you." Amelia answered in a lazy voice.
"W-why are you all by yourself? Everyone in the Tower seems friendly." Lin managed to ask, still keeping a few meters away by some unknown feeling that urged Lin to stay alive.
"Nothing we can do, Lin. My body is toxic, and everyone can sense that. You're also keeping a safe distance, by instinct." Amelia answered in a resigned voice.
"That's...pretty sad. We can still talk, right?" Lin wondered in a cautious voice.
Amelia frowned, then nodded. "We can. You should also start learning Alchemy." she answered as the Young Master landed and sat by her side, then hugged her waist.
"Alchemy?" I asked in a curious voice. I quite like Alchemy.
Miss Lin stared at me, and probably wondering why I was still alive, in such close contact with a Myriad Toxin Body.
"I know a little about Pill Refining, and a bit more about all sorts of herbs and minerals which are used by Artisans. Had to study them as part of my Treasure House duties." Min Lin answered with a firmer voice.
I nodded, since this was expected. "Amelia is right. With your Divine Sense, Alchemy will be much easier for you. Combat as well. Go try to training arrays first, then go to the Alchemy Hall when you're tired." I urged the new recruit, then pushed her off the floating platform, just to watch her scream all the way down, until she crash-landed in the Tower plaza.
"That was a bit mean, husband." Amelia said with a half-amused voice.
"Oh? Are you saying I didn't have a teaching purpose in mind, just being evil for fun?" I asked my toxic concubine.
Amelia looked down, to find Miss Lin stand up, amazed that none of her bones were broken by the fall. Which they couldn't be with a Saint Realm Body. Lin could already lift small mountains. "You were still mean. But I admit, she won't be so scared anymore." Amelia muttered in a lower voice.
"Confidence is the only thing you need to cross the Xiantian Tribulation. It might be a weak lightning bolt, but I know that half of people still fail and die at this easy step of the road of eternal life. Hasn't happened yet in my Tower, and I'll try to keep it that way." I explained in a lighter tone, then leaned in to steal a deadly kiss from my concubine.
A ghostly grandpa appeared in front of me, and just waited until I finished my long kiss.
"The fox has Ascended to Divine Realm. And has a new companion, called Mira." he said in a flat voice.
What? That was absurdly fast for an Ascension! It's only been like a week outside. And Mira, the Libra girl with the amazing soft breasts?
"Ming did something. Probably warned the ship Captain about the demons." I mused in a low voice.
Grandpa nodded and vanished, confirming my educated guess.
"Mira? Is she pretty?" Amelia asked in a jealous voice.
"Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, my love. But yes, I did invite Mira to join my harem of jade beauties. Seemed like a good idea, to gain a military expert for my Tower. We kinda suck at warfare." I answered with a small shrug. Didn't expect it to work, to be fair.
Amelia blinked, then nodded slowly. "I forget sometimes, you always put the Tower first. But you are the Sect Master, so you have to." she admitted in a cogent voice.
I poked her nose, then smiled. "Just focus on cultivation for now, my love. You're strong for a Saint, but we won't be fighting Saints." I whispered in her ear, then flew away.
In truth, I was about ready to Ascend to my Divine Realm as well, and only had to pick an artifact to bless with the Heavenly Tribulation. I considered the Crimson Sword for a minute, but I did already upgrade it during my Saint Tribulation.
I stopped at the Dragon prison, where a sad fate fell on the murder pink Dragon. It was justice, but also greed, for Dragon parts. She murdered an entire town, I gained her flesh and bones to upgrade my Tower members with cultivation resources and better weapons. Plus a nice Divine Soul for myself, via her Pure Yin harvesting.
"What item?" I asked softly, while extracting a dozen artifacts from my spatial ring. A Divine Spirit Ship? That would be useful to roam the galaxy later. Another Divine weapon? I had one already, and already Blessed.
Perhaps a suit of armor? I was pretty sure I could obtain a Divine Aegis with Heaven's help.
But my special body was already nearly immune to Divine Realm Demons. It would be a waste, this time. Maybe later.
No, it had to be something that would benefit the entire Tower. My eyes fell on a Divine Cauldron, covered in leaf patterns, stolen from the Oracle Mountain. After my ascension, I could use it to make better pills. And if Lin Fei and Meadows brought me some Divine herbs to work with...
I stored away the other items, leaving only the cauldron. Then I took out a Spirit Herb kept aside from the Heaven Basin, and ate it. My Qi Essence levels rose sharply, three times more than what such a Spirit Herb should provide, but I had my Reaction Body to thank for.
Black clouds gathered above me, so I stored my clothes and other items on me, all into my unbreakable spatial ring.
"Let's make a cauldron that is resistant to pill tribulations! Help me a little, oh Mighty Heavens!" I asked while holding my hands over the Divine Cauldron.

A purple lightning bolt fell on my head, followed by more and more lightning bolts, ending with a giant golden bolt that burned my skin away. Uh. That pink Dragon only had golden bolts. I only got the one, and it was already quite nasty.
Instead of complaining, I measured the cauldron with my Discerning Eyes. 'Thousand Leaves Divine Cauldron. Slightly resistant to Heavenly Tribulations. Slightly increase the chance for Perfect-grade pills. Each Transcendent pill created by this cauldron increases its durability. Worth 500 million Divine Crystals.'
Oh? Its value had grown 100 times from the Heavenly Blessings, from 5 to 500 millions. And must be from the last Blessing, with the golden lightning. An item that becomes more and more durable? With no limit?
Yes, making Transcendent pills wasn't easy at all, but it would happen from time to time. And given enough time...
A green-glowing array covered me as Grandpa poked the Blessed Cauldron with a fingernail, making it sound like a bell.
"A Transcendent Cauldron? It seems enduring this pain was worth it, Young Master. I can't make anything like this." he said in a strange voice.
"It's not that simple, Grandpa. I need to make Transcendent pills with it, in order to make it stronger. I only made three of those, my whole life!" I argued while waiting for my skin to grow back.
"Oh yes! Only three Transcendent pills, in your very long life and career as an Artisan. So sad..." Grandpa exclaimed with a sarcastic voice.
Grandpa was probably right. I had time to make more of these pills. Plenty more time.
As soon as my skin was back on, I washed myself with the stored water in my ring, and drew my robes back on, then took out my other items, including the spirit stones' pouch, the Concealing talisman, the Spirit Feast box, my beginner's backpack and the Artificier Toolbox.
As expected, the pouch contained only Divine Crystals now, which was pretty great. The Divine Crystals were expensive and hard to find, especially on this poor planet at the edge of the universe. The Spirit Feast box contained Divine-grade meals now, much richer in spiritual energy. The backpack held higher quality robes and sandals, plus more foodstuff for emergencies, but nothing amazing. It was also a free CYOA item that costed no points, so I didn't expect much.
However, the Artificier box was only free for Artisans, and now contained hundreds of Divine items useful in making pills, inscriptions or even blacksmithing. With my Divine Fire, I could use the Nine Yang Crucible to craft Divine weapons, if I had the skills.
Grandpa practically jumped inside the tool box, rummaging through the tools and confiscating half of them for his own use. "This is good stuff, Young Master. I wish I had these Divine Scribing Pens in my early days as a Formation Master. Or a Yang Fire Crucible! Even these blank flags for Formations. They are worth billions!" he exclaimed in a greedy voice.
"What's mine is yours, Grandpa. Except the girls." I allowed with a big smile.
"One day, you should stop thinking with your dick, Young Master. Women can be fun, but also trouble. Not that young people ever listen..." he grumbled in a disappointed voice.
"Are you saying we don't need Mira as our military advisor? And she has a great body too..." I answered with a dreamy voice.
"Just...go and train. 16 hours a day, the next 1000 days. After that, I'll make some Origin Demons to show you your weakness." Grandpa demanded in a warning voice, then vanished.
Of course, Grandpa was always right. I flew into the Body Cultivation array, and sat down as gravity began to increase. Then sandstorms and ice shard rains, and fireballs and all sorts of torturous environments, paired with unexpected screams and wails from all sides. I just endured, glad that my body was finally growing in strength again.
Then, 8 hours later I left the Body Array and entered the Soul Array, and fought against unending Demon hordes emerging fom the invasion portal. As a mere Saint, a few thousand Demons was my limit, but which my new cultivation realm, I was so much stronger. I was barely tired after 8 hours of battling Divine Demons.
I just wrote 40000 on the stone pillar when I came out, but in truth I didn't keep count. I scored over 50000 kills in the first hour, then only counted the hours. The Demons were unending, so only my own resistance mattered.
"I'll do even better after I ascend." Amelia spoke with envy at my new score, then wrapped me into a deadly hug.
Instead of answering, I returned her hug in silence. This was only the easy mode, to let me adjust to my new realm. In 1000 days, Grandpa will give me Origin Demons to fight, each probably as strong as the Wind Emperor.
I had to grind and convert my own True Qi with that bamboo scroll mantra, only to withsand a single Origin spell. Xia was so lucky to be there already.
"I'll be busy with Xia for 1000 nights, so you can cultivate in peace." I whispered in Amelia's ear, then walked away towards my room.
My wife was already waiting for me, hidden under my silk covers up to her nose. "Is it true Pef? I get you all for myself for 1000 nights?" Xia asked in a happy voice.
I smiled then climbed in my bed, then drew Xia into a long kiss, while fondling her naked breasts under the covers. "It will be mostly training, my dear. I hope you like eating my dick." I answered with a teasing voice.
Xia blushed, and nodded shyly. Perfect then! I stored my pants and drew Xia's head low towards my dick. I should only feed her my purified essence for this training period, and try to help her climb the cultivation levels faster. Holding a Divine Crystal in my hand, I watched Xia bob her head down and up my steel-hard rod, while I refined the Divine energy into my dantian.
Combined with the Spirit Herb I've ate for my ascension, my Yang liquid was much more potent now, and filled Xia's mouth with purified cultivation liquid, devoid of any toxins. It felt good as well, as should any loving blowjob.
Only I wasn't a mortal now, and could do this over and over, cultivating my wife while enjoying marital bliss.
Several pleansant jets later, Xia's essence climbed one level, proving my method was quite effective, if I had enough Spirit Herbs.
