"What is luck? The summary of good deeds performed in my past life or just a simple curve of probability. Well, whatever it is. I was lucky." - Otto von Lamberg (Protagonist)
Where should we start?
Probably not with who I was before I came to this world, but what happened after. I was lucky enough to be born into a family of the noble rank of Count and, it pains me to remember what happened 16 years afterward.
My parents died on the way home from a Banquet, held by one of the neighboring nobility, by an Orc raid of significant size. People estimated that about 10 thousand Orcs participated in the incursion into the human-dominated area.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
I received the news of my parents death after the orcish Army was crushed by the Army of the Principality, and the wagon that they traveled in, was found. Nobody was ever able to find the bodies.
To be honest. I fucked up. My parents died because of me. How, you might ask? It was the idea of me and my father to lure the Orc raid to the party and kill off all nobles from the principality and force the current ruler of our principality to take up arms and fight of the intruders. In this way, we would have been able to kill him and take over without any opposition.
But the orcs weren't supposed to appear this early. They were too fast.
And with this, it Begins.
