You make your way down stairs after what feels like an eternity (only 3hrs) you were greeted by the female lizard chick who upon seeing you rushes to apologize for ...what exactly? Because I though your were a slaver trying to lie your way out of here to go and harm and enslave other demis. Demis you say?...Ohhh write Master Thane said hes pretty much positive that your an otherworlder the first know one in over 100 years, so you don’t know what demi-humans are then. No I don’t you say sheepishly closest thing we had to that was just creepy humans dressing up like animal. Why would humans do that?…like I said their weird, but since were apologizing I will to I assumed you were a human that dressed up like a lizard person wanting to do weird stuff. You see her smile relieved that your not what each other though you were...She takes you into a lounge or maybe an old timely parlor style sitting area meant for conversation.

  You see that Thane guy sitting there and motions for you to come over to sit and talk. So he looks up would you like too ask questions first or would you like to hear what I have to say first? Well since I'm the stranger here I think it only polite to let you tell me everything you want to say to me first I'm the unintended guest after all. So as it stand your in Merinbold a smaller town toward the west of the border city of Tradesmarl. As you may have already devised there are other races not just humans but since humans are more populous compared to other races we use the term Demi-human to described races that are bipedal and intelligent this includes my hired maid shes from the Drakenoid race. On top of that all intelligent races are born with what we call skills they can be magical in nature, or skill based in nature it basically gives you a natural affinity toward specific professions or crafts or even unique subsets all together.

  Since you were brought here you would've been given skills to and thats what makes being an otherworlder so unique as they will almost always have unique skills that when developed can help change this world sometimes for the better or worse depending on the type of person you are and where you happen to show up in this world. So how do I know what skills I have? First were going to eat dinner, your going to have a good nights sleep and tomorrow were going to the local appraiser to find out and infuse with a small amount of mana to kick start your power to view your own skills. How exactly after I'm infused with this mana will I see what skills I have? You will find out soon enough it easier to see find out for yourself then to explain, even people born here don’t understand it until they come of age and go through the process of mana infusement.

  You mention demi-humans just out of curiosity would that include elves, dwarves, gnomes? Why yes how did you know that those races exist if you've never seen of them? Well in my world they exist in fantasy stories but not in real life just humans...humans that hate other humans based on what part of the world were from. You see thane take along drown out sigh it looks like humans from your world and ours both have humans who think there superior. Yeah hatred will always exist just seems to be the way it is all I can do is not be like what they want me to be. Wiser words have never been said Mr Rod.

  After some light conversation dinner was ready, and you make your way to the dining room and man I’m not gonna lie the smell is out of this world mouth drooling delectable. You cant help but ask well...umm whats on the menu tonight?...The maid pipes up seared Boltus steak with a light cream vegetable soup with bread and for the drinks we have honey sweetened chorry infused mead. This Boltus steak tastes just like a beef steak no matter how you slice it its beef through and through, the soup has milk added into for the creaminess and the mead your 100% its cherry flavored. You ask out of curiosity by describing the flavors and what they more then likely came from you recognize by taste to Mr. Thane who appears almost slack jawed in describing the taste on what animal or plant it comes from into great detail even guessing the milk used in the soup came from the female boltus creatures mentioned.

  Mr. Rod your eye for observation is astounding to describe in great detail now makes me wonder if these creatures initially came over from your world or if its just coincidence? Well thats a question for another time. Why don’t you get ready for bed tomorrow we have a long day ahead of us. After finishing dinner and refreshing up you head back to your temporary lodging also making sure to thank, Mrs. Dragalia the maid Mr. Thane for a wonderful dinner you’ve felt better then you felt well since you little kitty cat passed away.

  Morning comes sooner then expected but you got a good nights rest nonetheless with all things considering. You find a fresh change of clothes on the chair the maid must have brought them up while you were still asleep not really you style but beggars cant be choosers, maybe you'll ask if your original clothes are still here. You make your way downstairs to see that Mr. Thane is already downstairs eating breakfast as he motions you over to join. After a nice breakfast of tea (Thank God they have tea here) along with some bread cheese and fruits, and some more general information of this world you get ready and freshen up and hop in the carriage brought to the front of the house and make your way to see this appraiser.

  Well here it is Marlo’s top tier appraisals (according to the sign above the shop), as you walk in with your current host Mr Thane who came along (obviously its his carriage) an elderly man hobbles along very much looking his age but quite spry nonetheless. Ahh so this is the individual you believe to be an otherworlder he takes a look at you as he tilts his head well follow me youngster and lets get you appraised you follow him to what appear to be regular looking room (kinda reminiscent of Dr office but not quite) and asks you to sit down. You do and he pull up a seat beside you and you see in amazement of what looks like a magical circle appear of his left eye and another one appear over his hand as he hovers it above you (you def seen something like what hes doing in anime cartoon and video-games its no denying it). My my my there is absolutely no denying it now you are without a doubt an otherworlder the first recorded in...Yeah I've heard in over 100 years right? Well yes Lord Thane must have already mentioned it then. In terms of skills there are some really rare ones and ones I’ve never seen or know what they are along with you having the max amount of skills +1 (whatever that means).

  Well don’t keep us in suspense Said Mr. Thane what are his skills? The old man Marlow speaks up well ill start with the ones we do know and these are some exceptionally rare skills like he literally his the jackpot on these. Skill-1 (Appraisal allows you to read information on every being, creature, skill, ability and item...etc.) its how I earn my living a very coveted skill. Skill-2 (Item Box allows for the storage of many things that freeze time when placed) a highly sought out skill for merchants who have or would likely hire someone who does have it again highly coveted. Skill-3 (Prediction allows for an almost precognitive ability to determine what may happen within a few seconds) very highly used among adventurers and fighters. Skill-4 (All Speak + allows for the complete and UN-paralled ability to understand any language written or spoken), not sure what the plus means thats a new one but it may figured out in time its very sought out for researches and exploration to understand ancient and forgotten languages. Skill-5 (Navigation literally means you cannot get lost with this skill you'll always know where your going based on where you want to try to go or even find something) used in exploration merchant ships also a high grade skill. (Skill-6 Complete Magic Lvl1 an interesting skill allows use for all magic but only its lowest lvl form spells to be utilizied) its useful for daily life its considered mid tier don’t expect to be a S-tier wizard from it though. (Skill-7 Layering this is an unknown skill we have no knowledge of what this skill could be currently) but I'm sure we will find out in due time. (Skill-8 Jack-Of-All-Trades again this is a new one) but it does provide a clue (Trades) this could be similar to the Artisan skill which is a skill set that gives Knowledge to blacksmithing, alchemy, jewelcutting, mining and herbalism, its a versatile skill making you knowledgeable in the skills combined but never able to master them. (Skill-9 Magical Technologist {Magi-tech for short} again an unknown skill but this seems powerful for some reason but I just don’t know for sure. (Skill-10 HacknBypass 2nd to last unknown skill not sure at all on this one). Lastly (Skill-11 Spirit Bond This a generally unknown skill by the populace only researches are aware of this skill and have no knowledge or evidence of what it does) only that it does appear twice in our history both times to an elf never to a human which makes it coveted by researches to find out what it is. On top of the you should only have 10 skills at max the fact you have eleven is unprecedented we should keep this a secret Lord Thane.

  Mr Rod you may very well be More powerful then we can currently ascertain currently I would suggest saying you only have 6 skills and don’t mention the others and certainly not the 11th skill its is completely unheard of having anything over 10 and even 10 is rare among rare only 4 people currently exist that have 10 skills all of them powerful in there own right. You also asked about the mana infusion mentioned earlier...Ahhh yes I was getting to that (he brings out what looks like a metal contraption that you can place 1 or both hands into. He instructions you place your left hand into the contraption before Mr. Thane speaks up place your right hand into it as well..(Huh?). The old man turns to say are you intending to infuse mana in him as well Master Thane? I am as wielder of the prediction skill myself I fill I need to to. Interesting says the old man.. well lets begin then, as you place both hands into the device you see them both hover a hand above the device on each side of where you placed your own hands. A magi cal circle appears between there hands and yours like when you were being evaluated only now something else is happening. You fell a warmth and a slight tingly sensation reverberate throughout your body it doesn’t hurt..just feels weird really weird.

  Wow it happened know you see what Mr. Thane was talking about earlier right in front looks exactly what you would see in a video game a screen...and not just any screen it has all your stats and skills items you carrying it really is like a video game screen displaying all your information. Well Things have certainly taken an unexpected turn. You do notice something interesting and ask what it means when it says skill locked? Thats to be expected according to Mr. Marlo some skills should be active right away other will unlock only when your trying to use that skill so it makes sense...by the way what skills are currently usable hmmmm? Lets see according to my screen it says as listed -

  How very peculiar the Appraisal skill is actually easy to unlock attempts to appraise me and it will unlock...as you do and will yourself to appraise Mr. Marlo you hear a sound no a voice a voice that says conditions met appraisal unlocked. See nothing to it as your doing things you may accidentally unlock the other skills deliberately or unintentionally. So the jack of all trades skill it says partially unlocked that sounds similar to the artisan skill as you try new trades it may open up further and like the artisan skill it starts off with one part of the skill unlocked. See if your is like that what does yours say...hmmm Alchemy, Herbalism, Engineering and Mining currently unlocked theirs quite a few things underneath that say in accessible with no description. How interesting it not only gave two very powerful professions but also there accompanying support skills that go along with it. I surmise it is in fact similar to the artisan but only even more powerful, but only time will tell. That 11th skill you have I cant make heads or tails of it while it is a skill much about it was lost to history we just don’t know but you appear to be the key to understanding it. Well looks like your starting a new life weather you wanted to or not (You still miss your kitty though nothing will change that).
